Sorry I took so long; I have been highly busy lately. Mainly because Math was invented for the sole purpose of torturing innocent people, especially those who tend to get stressed out by stuff within that brand of overwhelming.

I won't be an abandoner, let me know if I haven't posted anything in a month, so I remember. I will get to it ASAP. Feel free to give me a suggestion if you have one.

WARNING: GORE IN THIS ONE!

Carters POV

Another dream took me to Amos and Dad. I could tell it was two years later. Kid Uncle Amos was on a train, Dad next to him. Kid Uncle Amos was reading a book, and wasn't paying much attention to Dad.

"Your book interesting?" Dad asked.

"Yeah, why do you think I am reading it?" Kid Amos said.

"Good point. Hold on, we're stopping."

The train was stopping outside a mountain range.

Just then, a loud scream rang out. Dad and Kid Amos stood up almost instantly. They ran out of the train right as it started moving.

They proceeded to fall out of the train.

Dad was like a rolling log, picking up speed.

He soon hit his head against a rock.

Dad woke up an hour later, looking dizzy. He had a deep cut in his chin.

Dad sat up groaning. He was bleeding pretty good.

He looked around. And spotted Kid Amos, stuck in a bush, leg bent at an unnatural angle, bleeding from said leg.

Dad winced. As Dad raced over, something quickly made sense. One time, we convinced Uncle Amos to come with us on a beach trip. When he changed into swim trunks, a scar was visible on his leg, and after that, we noticed he had a very slight limp in the leg (it was practically an invisible limp), but he never explained how he got either one, but now I knew.

Dad looked scared, looking at Kid Amos and his injury.

"AMOS! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Dad asked.

"No! Obviously not!" Kid Amos said.

"Right sorry. We need to take you to a healer."

"Did you forget in a statuary/healer?"

"I mean a more experienced one, sheesh."

"No time. We do this ourselves."

"Seriously? I don't know what to do here!"

"I can coach you, then we get out of here via Duat travel!"

"Okay, what do I do first?"

"Get me unstuck, duh!"

Dad did that, with Kid Amos muttering under his breath.

Kid Amos coached Dad through the whole procedure, even on how to set the break. Which knocked Kid Amos out. Dad almost instantly carried him away.

The dream shifted to the hospital. Dad had gotten stitches in his chin, and looked mostly okay. Aunt Amanda ran in, demanding to know what happened. The doctor came in as she began yelling at Dad.

"Kid will be okay. Will need six weeks in bed, but he will survive." The doctor said.

Dad looked relieved. Amanda, however, looked like she wanted to kidnap Amos and lock him in the house and never let him see the outside world ever again.

But she kept it together, as she and Dad went to see him.

Kid Amos was sleeping off the pain, but otherwise he looked okay.

That was when Amanda pulled something out of her pocket. And grabbed Dad from behind. I watched as Dad went limp.

"Don't fuss Julius: curare wears off." Amanda said, taking Amos by the hand as she pulled a talisman out of her pocket.

"Sorry, Amos, but after today, I don't trust Julius entirely with your safety."

With that, she teleported them away.
