A/N: Hey, welcome to my first SI fanfiction of mine. I know this is probably one of the most overused fanfiction concepts that has been used, but when the inspiration hits you in the gut, you just have to write it down. Anyway, enough delaying. Let's just get into it. Also, this is an AU. That means canon can go **** itself (Protecting the eyes of the innocent…for now) … Wait, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, canon is gone, dead, thrown out of the window, so if you don't like those types of stories, I suggest you stop reading right here. If not, read at your own caution. Now then, I don't own DxD…even though I want to.

Also, this is like a sneak preview to the new fanfiction since the uploads will begin in mid July.

*** ****,*** ***** ****** *******:

"You spin me right 'round, baby, right 'round~ Like a record, baby, right 'round, 'round, 'round~" I was singing this song for what was probably the 6000th time…or was it the 7000th time? Who knows? Floating in this void of nothingness tend to make one numb to the flow of time. To be honest, I could only remember that song after all this time and a few single memories. The memories however are not all of the same thing and are random little things that happened in my previous life or what I presume was my previous life. They range from the first time I rode a bike to my first girlfriend. From my first break up to most of my basic school education. There were also memories of two 'manga' I think are what they called. One was called 'Demon Slayer' and the other 'Rurouni Kenshin'. The swordsmanship abilities of the people in those two worlds were astonishing and quite frankly, very terrifying. I even remember trying to act out some of the scenes, but let's just say I should have left it to the professionals.

Anyway, those were probably the only things I actually could think about, since I tried staring for a long time into the void once and let me tell you…staring into the concept of nothingness can really fuck with your mind.

"Hello! Is anyone here?!" Great, now I'm really losing my mind. I'm hearing a child yelling.

"Hello! Can anyone help me?!" Okay, either I'm really losing my mind or that voice sounded as if it's a little closer.

"Hey! Can anyone hear me?!" Okay, I'm not imagining it. I'm actually hearing a kid's voice. Looking around, I saw a kid walking with his back to me, his shoulder length blond hair swaying as he looked around as if looking for something.

"Hey kid! Over here!" I called out and he twisted around before his blue eyes lit up when he saw me. He looked 9 to 10 years old, wearing a white shirt, white shorts and white flip flops. He looked a bit malnourished as his shirt looked too big for him.

"Uh…h-hello mister. Do you know where I am?" He stuttered and I gave him a soft smile.

"Sorry kid. I've been here since who knows how long. Where did you come from?" I asked him and he became sad as he tried to sniff back tears.

"W-we were in a room…and Old Man Valper was going to kill us… and me and b-big sister Lisa and m-my big brothers Andrew a-and Alex r-ran into a forest… b-but m-my big brothers got k-killed… a-and me and B-Big Sis Lisa was h-hiding from the bad men… a-and Big Sis left me… a-and the bad m-m-men followed her… a-a-and I t-talked to a red head girl…a-and then I woke up here…a-a-a-and…"By the end, he was sobbing, so I gave him a hug and he grasped tightly, crying into my shoulder as I rubbed his back soothingly.

"It's okay, kid… let it out…it's all okay." After a few minutes of crying, he was now hiccupping slightly as he tried to wipe his face clean.

"S-s-sorry about that, mister." I just gave a chuckle as he kneeled down next to him and patted the top of his head.

"It's okay, little guy. So, what's your name?" I asked and he gave a slight smile.

"Isaiah, sir. W-what's yours?" He asked and I gave a shrug right before I heard a different voice speak.

"His name is *****." Both the kid and I whipped our heads to the left so fast I thought we got whiplash as a grey haired elderly man with glasses gave us a smile, his long white beard reaching his chest. His bronze coloured skin stood in contrast to the pure white robes he had on. The void around us lit up slightly as the aura around him glowed brightly

"*****? That's a nice name, mister." I gave him a shaky smile before I looked at the old man. Why could I not hear him say my name?

"I'm not that old, my boy. Just about 90 000 giga-annum old." I stared at him in shock.

"Uhhh, did you…just read my mind?" He gave a chuckle at our facial expressions.

"Yes, it's laughably easy to read the mind of a mortal soul. And before you ask, 90 000 giga-annum is about 90 000 billion or 90 trillion years in human terms." I stared at him in utter shock as the kid was still confused.

"H-how the fu-frick is that possible?" Shit, have to remember there's a kid with us.

"H-how old is that mister?" The kid asked me with a cute quizzical look on his face.

"Uh… A-about a suuuuppeer bajillion years old."

"Wwwooooaaahh!" The kid had a look of wonder on his face as he looked at the old man in amazement.

"W-who are you?" The old man gave a shrug before he spoke.

"I'm God. Pleasure to meet you both." The kid and I looked at each before looking at him.

"God? As in…the Almighty? From Christianity? You're THAT God" He gave a nod as I gave a low whistle.

"Wow? I'm actually meeting THE God? Never thought that would happen." The old man chuckled at me before the kid spoke

"M-mister God. W-why are we here?" God gave him a soft smile and received a shy one in return. I also noticed he was shifting his body to hide slightly behind me.

"Well…you, my boy, are going Heaven to live with your brothers and sisters." Isaiah looked shocked at his words before looking up at me.

"Really?! B-but… W-what about Mister *****?" He looked at me and I gave him a smile.

"No need to worry about me, kid. Go be with your family" The kid looked hesitantly at the old man.

"A-are…are you sure, Mister?" I gave him a smile and a nod before he walked towards the old man.

"When you wake up again, you'll be with your family. Now…rest in peace, my child and be free." The old man said as he placed his hand on top of Isaiah's head. Isaiah's body began to glow brightly as it lit up the void right before his body disappeared in white motes of light.

"Now…we are left with you." He said and I stared at him as he smiled.

"Why am I here?"

"Well, I needed someone to replace Isaiah in his old world and who else but the person right in front of me?" I just stared at him.

"Uh…what?" He chuckled at me before he spoke.

"Can I ask you one question?" He asked out of the blue.

"Uh…yeah. Sure, fire one at me." I said with a look of confusion on my face.

"Do you know who little Isaiah is?"

"Not…particularly. Is he supposed to be someone I should know?"

"No and I'm not surprised. You did only read it for the bosoms. I must say, it was a hard job to read all 25 novels without chucking them into the void. And do not get me started on the imitation of myself in the book. I mean, me, THE GOD, dying because I was weak from SEALING something away? Granted, it is Trihexa, but still! I could have whipped the behinds of my son and the entirety of his army with one hand tied behind my back, even with half of my power permanently gone. And then my 'so-called' idiotic sadistic, little shit of a grandson comes along…and undoes all of my hard work. Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael turned out all right. Why could the rest of my children not just be like them?" Okay, this old man is really fucking with my mind right now. Abruptly stopping his ranting, he noticed me staring and gave an embarrassed chuckle.

"Hehe, forgive me for 'dumping my worries on your shoulders' as you mortals say. I am just frustrated at the world where little Isaiah comes from."

"And…where exactly is that?"

"Oh, I thought you had figured it out. The Draconis Deus universe…or should I say, one of the Draconis Deus universes."

"Uh…what?" What the fuck is a Draconis Deus?

"Oh right, you don't know that name. The other name for it is High School DxD."

"…Still not ringing any bells." He looked confused at my answer as he walked closer and placed his hand on my head.

"Ah, I see. Just give me a second and…there!"

"Hnngghh!" I grunted in pain as hundreds of memories stampeded through my brain.

"Oppai!" "Get back here, ya dividing bastard." "I am the Dragon who has stolen the Principles of Supremacy from God." "Rias' Gremory's Virginity is mine!" "Boosted Gear Balance Breaker: Scale Mail!" "JUGGERNAUT DRIVE!" "Sword of the Betrayer!" "Ruin the Extinct!" "Extinguished Star!" "Human-Shaped Aura of Destruction…" There were images of dragons big enough to block out the sky itself, gods so powerful they could destroy beings just by looking at them, a boy that rose from being pathetically weak to one of the most powerful beings of his race. The last image disturbed me greatly as it was a humanoid covered in a red aura. The aura felt destructive and just looking at it made me nauseous. It felt as if it was eating at the very seams of reality itself as the aura hungered for more and more, unable to fulfil its never-ending hunger.

"Oi! Don't focus on all of them at once!" I heard right before I got slapped and knocked out of the memories.

"W-what…What…in the ever loving fuck…was that?" I asked God as I heaved for air.

"That, my boy, was High School DxD. Great place, right?"

"What…what was that last thing?" I stammered out and he chuckled.

"Ah yes. That was none other than the Lucifer or 'The Devil' of that world at his full power. Amazing, is it not?"

"Y-y-you…expect me…t-to go there? Me, a normal, average civilian? In a word filled with supernatural beings like Gods and Dragons…and that… that THING?" That last image really fucked with my mind.

"Don't worry. I'm not that cruel to send you without a few boons. Now, remember this because I will only say them once, okay?" I nodded shakily and he nodded before he spoke.

"Okay, firstly, I will let you keep the memories of that world and what would have happened if this little meeting did not happen, so you have nothing that might or should surprise you. These memories will also be hidden from anyone that tries to read your mind and the seal that hides them needs someone on the same level or higher as me to break, so no need to worry about it breaking. Secondly, I have removed the limiters that you have on your soul, mind and body, so you could potentially reach the same level as 'that' Lucifer if you work hard for it. It might be hard for you however considering how lazy you were in your last life. Thirdly, you won't start off as an average Devil, because there is no way someone I have personally chosen from the omniverse be reborn as a weakling."

"Wait, what? I'm going to be a Devil? But…but how could God…"

"Shush now. And the reason you're going to be a Devil is because the girl who was supposed to make Isaiah a Devil has already done so and I'm not allowed to interfere since that would be playing favourites… I should be able to do what I want. I created reality…" The last part he muttered to himself, confusing me.

"Ignoring that last part…where was I again?"

"I'm not going to be a weakling?"

"Ah yes, thank you my boy. Now, I will give you enough power to be as powerful as the average High-Class Devil in that world."

"Uh, what's a High-Class Devil?" I interrupted and he sighed as he looked at me.

"The memories have not fully integrated into your soul, so some things are still missing. Listen, the Devils of that world have two ranking Systems. The first is for your physical/ combat prowess and the second system is to show your political and financial power. The average High-Class Devil is about the third weakest in the first rankings and there are nine rankings in total. They go Low-Class, Middle-Class, High-Class, Ultimate-Class, Satan-Class, Minor-God Class, Major-God Class, Transcendental Devils and finally Heavenly-Dragon Class Devils, though Transcendental Devils is the highest power ranking the Devils from that world have reached. The Lucifer you saw in your memories and two other devils of that world are Transcendental Devils or 'Super Devils' as they call them. These are also broken up into tiers that ranged from Low, Mid, High and finally Peak, so ten people could be High-Class in power, but one could be a Low High-Class and one could be Peak High-Class. And-!"

"Wait, there's more than that?!" I yelled as I stared at him in shock. My brain can only take so much, not that I have a brain to begin with. Haha, soul joke!

"Oh, that world's Venelana is going to eat you alive."

"Who?"

"No one of importance. Now, the political rankings start at Knight when you 'officially' become a Middle Class. Then they go Baronet, Baron, Viscount, Count, Margrave, Marquis, Prince, Duke, Archduke, King and lastly Great King. The highest political ranking you can reach as a reincarnated Devil is probably Prince, unless you discover something revolutionary and very beneficial for the Devils or you become so powerful they have no choice but to give you the promotion.

Then…AND ONLY then should you qualify for Duke, Archduke and maybe King. Forget about becoming Great King, since you would have to take on the current one and dethrone them along with the entirety of their house and let me tell you, in every universe I have watched so far, that little brat Zekram is one of the smartest, conniving and manipulative people in DxD and that included the Pagan Gods themselves, so watch out for him. Do not trust him or anyone that allies themselves with him. They WILL eat you alive before you can blink. Other than that, you should be all right." My brain was literally melting as I stared at him with dull eyes.

"I…I think I'm going to die on the very first day."

"Oh, don't worry. Everything will be fine. Now, I have an inter-reality meeting with Sheogorath and Azathoth in a few minutes and I'm sure you don't want to lose the last shreds of sanity you have left, but before I forget."

"Wait, what do you-Uuurrghh!" Before I got blinked, he snapped his fingers in front of my face and my mind went blanked.

"W-wha…w-wait, who are you?" The old man in front of me did not answer as I got gut checked and blasted at what was probably thousands of times the speed of light through millions of dimensions.

"Bye! And have a nice…" I couldn't hear the last part as I blacked out from the pain.

A/N: Okay, that's the introductory chapter. I want everyone who have read it to leave a review if you like where I'm going with this as this is the one I've decided to go with. I want to listen this time to my readers' advice as we all know that Frost of Time was just a mangled mess.

Next chapter will be the beginning of his new life. See you at the next one.
