65: Naruto: Proper Gravity

So, got ROBed. Worse, I got ROBed into the world-destroying chunnibyou-laden child-solider-rearing power-of-friendship illogical-physics-engine that is Naruto, AND, if I fail to become SSS-Class by the rise of Kaguya, the world will be fucked, and I will be sent to hell. On top of that, to make it 'fun', the ROB insists that I have to have a massive handicap! Like, the kind of handicap that would make a person ineligible for ninja-hood. And not like Lee's 'I-can't-use-jutsus-itis', no, full on missing limb or sense. To make it even more 'interesting', I have to be a broke civilian orphan, will be widely looked down on, and must have, in some way, something that will make me a target for Pedo-maru, Danzo the Dumb, and the Akatsuki. In a word, I am mostly fucked.

Thankfully, only mostly. I get three choices: Village (Konoha, duh!), Injury (WTF do I even choose!), and… template?

The ROB is giving me the ability to naturalize any one character (as long as they are 'genre-appropriate') as me! Giving me their power, talents, and natural affinities. On top of that, while I will only be mediocre at ninja skills (an 'accurate' civilian background demands it, apparently), I WILL be massively talented, both in teaching and learning, my personal skills. I… can actually make this work!

At first, I really thought Toph. Bad-ass blind earth-bender? HELL, YEAH! Sadly, that would, according to the ROB, make me a girl. That left me with only one choice. 'Fujitora' Issho.

So, yeah. Day of the Kyuubi, my eyes got gouged out by a falling timber (I was three weeks old, and it was a miracle I survived). Sucks. Worse, I have an inherent sense of goodness that makes me revolted with the ninja world (though I stay a good person, nonetheless). HOWEVER… gravity control good enough to rip meteors from the sky? Master-level swordsmanship? HAKI?

Okay, 'Tobi', time to get your bitch-ass beat!

(A.N. Turns out there is a story like this on WebNovel called The Blind Swordsman of the Uchiha Family, which I found literally the DAY after I wrote this. Not a bad little story, had a few interesting angles. Not what I was looking for at all. Haki barely shows up, the MC has a system based off OP antagonists [a solid system idea, but that's not the point], and the whole thing felt a little off from the vibe I was going for. The MC is too street-smart, not active enough, and the whole thing seems a little… well, not what I was thinking of. Still good though, for an unfinished and somewhat unprofessionally translated story [not like I have any room to talk there, as a monolinguist]. Still, ONE such story does exist, and I hope to see more such stories later. As for multiple characters' powers? I could see it, but I would want the MC to craft/create/discover/adapt them by training. For example, going Toph by mastering both earth-based chakra and chakra control and inventing bending, and thus getting ground sense, earthbending, and an enlarged Ki (chakra) pool. NO system (preferred, anyway). As for other powers? Is NARUTO! DUH, he will have more powers than Fujitora. Just MOSTLY Fujitora.)
