"A Ninja?"

"What in the walls is that?"

"Why would a village be hidden in leaves?"

"I have no idea"

Kenji listened to the confused chatter with a smirk. It became pretty clear to him the day he ran into that guard on the wall that the inhabitants of these walls would be oblivious to the existence of ninjas. Kenji noticed one of the cadets - Reiner if he recalled correctly,stiffened at hos words. The dark skinned boy furrowed his eyebrows; did he know anything about ninjas?

Kenji's pondering was cut short as a loud rumbling sound was heard. Shinobi instinct quickly took over as he realized something huge was coming.

"Everyone, duck!" Kenji said and the Cadets quickly complied,an instant before the Southern wall exploded.

Wood,concrete and glass was everywhere. Out of the corner of his eye,he saw one of his clones who happened to be in that spot push a female Cadet out of the way, taking the hit himself. The impact sent the doppelganger flying to the other side of the room and landing on the rough stone, immediately making him poof away.

When the dust settled,two enormous faces peered through the hole that was created,their teeth bared and their faces grinning like crazed beasts.

The Cadets started panicking immediately.

"Shit," Jean said. "There's too many people!"

"Run!"

"Where?! we're surrounded!"

Kenji grunted a little. He couldn't properly use the Chidori again with so many people around, especially in such a confined space,but letting the titans breach this castle would essentially mean certain death for almost everyone here.

Letting out a breath, Kenji went through the familiar handsigns and grabbed his right arm with his left hand, conjuring the blue lightning once again, along with the high pitched chirping that always accompanied it. His use of Chidori however, was halted as an enormous fist crashed into the first titanic head, causing it to crash into the next. Suddenly the view was replaced by the head of another titan. This one had no lips at all, piercing green eyes,pointed ears and rippling muscles.

Kenji paused,his eyes widened as his Chidori slowly faded away in his hand.

'Woah...'

"Wh... what is that?" Jean,who had been standing next to him voiced out his shock.

The Titan let out a roar,a primal one which reminded Kenji of the Kyuubi,it reminded him of their fight with Sasuke.

It reminded him of Naruto.

The green eyed titan then charged towards the other two, surprising everyone watching.

"A titan,just attacked another titan"

"That Titan's probably an abnormal," Connie said. "It doesn't seem interested in us at all so if we play our cards right,we just might get out of here alive"

"We're gonna use the titan?!" someone asked.

"You'd rely on a Titan's help?" Jean asked,not believing his ears. "Are you crazy?!"

"We're relying on a feakish stranger's help and thanks to that we're all still alive" Connie said.

Kenji smiled at that.

"It doesn't matter if it's a Titan," Mikasa said with her usual stoic expression. "We just need to let it rampage here for as long as possible to clear our path, realistically it's our best option"

The green eyed Titan bellowed outside as if to prove her right, before smashing the head off a smaller Titan and stepping on it's nape,then going for another Titan.

"That Titan seems stronger than average,the others won't be able to overpower it easily" Connie said.

"It's worth a shot," Kenji said. "I'd hate to say it,but that Titan's the best waybto clear out our path while also being a distraction"

Everyone turned to him.

"Kenji,was it?" Connie asked.

The ninja nodded.

"Thanks for getting through so far" Connie said. The other Cadets murmured in agreement while some nodded.

"It's no problem," Kenji smiled. "but right now,you all need to refill on that gas,so come on"

"Fine," Jean said,still very uncomfortable with the thought of relying on two strang beings for help. "Let's just hurry and resupply on the gas"

They all moved to the inner parts of the headquarters,but Kenji stayed behind for a few seconds before placing his hands into the cross sign, causing a clonebto immediately poof to life.

"If that Titan goes down, poof away and let me know okay?" Kenji asked,to which his clone responded with a nod. With that, Kenji went with the cadets.

They reached a room with a lift that lead down to the storage room.

"How many are down there?" Jean asked the nearest Cadet.

"We counted seven,all at about tgree to four meters tall"

"Damnit,We can't use our gear down there," Connie said.

"Yeah, it's a suicide mission!" Marco agreed.

"What do we do?!" a voice asked.

"Calm down, I'll do it" Kenji said.

"What?!"

"That's stupid!" Jean said. "Even you can take out seven Titans singlehandedly!"

"Yes I can" Kenji reached into his pouch and pulled out a kunai.

"Are you crazy–"

"He'll be fine"

Everyone turned to Mikasa, surprised she was sticking up for this boy. "I've seen what he can do firsthand and I don't think he'll have trouble with them"

"Thanks..." Kenji closed his eyes and smiled,apprectiative of Mikasa's support. He then placed his fingers into the cross sign, conjuring two clones and slightly shocking the Cadets once again, seeing as they weren't used to the ninja's abilities. Kenji looked back at all of them.

"I'll be back in a few minutes" The boy said, before he and his copies went for the lift.

"Are you sure that was a good idea?" Annie asked.

"Mikasa's right" Armin said. "We all saw what he could do when he and Mikasa lead us here, I don't think seven titans would be too much for him... besides he has those copies of his"

As if on cue, the familiar loud chirping was heard below,then it came again... and then again before a large hissing sound was heard. Steam then started seeping through the cervices in the floor.

"No way..." A Cadet said in disbelief.

A huge crash was then heard before it went dead silent. All of them looked at each other,the same question on their minds.

The steel cable holding the lift up started moving. When it fully came up,Kenji stepped out,the little sparks of lightning in his right hand fading.

"Done"

Kenji met the amazed stares of the Cadets as he stepped out of the lift and couldn't help but smirk.

It already occured to him that they saw him as something out of a fairytale or a bizarre storybook, seeing as they'd never seen a ninja before,much less seeing one in action. Even the civilians of the leaf village barely got to see their ninjas use their abilities so it'd be even more shocking for people who had never even heard of the elemental nations before. He found it pretty hard to resist the urge to show off his abilities to them.

After letting the others know it was safe, they all followed him back down. As they went, Kenji noticed that his clone hadn't dispelled, meaning the Titan was still alive.

All the Titans he'd seen so far had only wanted to eat humans,so what was so different about this one?

The Cadets refilled their gas,their eyes no longer fearful,but lit with new hope and determination.

Annie, Reiner and Connie huddled in a corner to discuss.

"How much about that titan do you know?" Reiner asked.

"Nothing too much," Connie said. "Other than it's an abnormal which happens to despise it's own kind.. but shouldn't we dwell on the fact that we're safe?"

"True" Reiner gave a tired smile.

Mikasa,Armin,Sasha, Marco and Jean were walking towards them, discussing their newest ally.

"You mentioned him yelling something before that high pitched blue lightning would appear around his hand" Armin asked Mikasa.

"I don't know..." For the first time,the Ackerman was genuinely curious as she stole a glance at the strangely dressed boy who was at the other side of the room, spinning a little metal star on his finger with a passive expression.

"I heard him yell something before that blue lightning would appear around his hand," Mikasa explained. "Then he'd thrust it through the Titan's nape. But I didn't understand a word he said"

"Would he just be speaking gibberish?" Armin asked.

"What if it was another language?" Mikasa theorized.

"I didn't know anyone spoke any other languages aside the common tongue" Marco said.

"He seems extremely fast too," Sasha said. "We could barely keep up with him"

"Not to mention the fact that he jumped across the rooftops without any ODM gear" Jean added.

"Whoever this Kenji kid is," Reiner said, glancing at the Ninja. "Let's be glad someone like him is on our side"

Eventually,they all filled up and went back up the lift with Kenji in tow. Getting off the lift,they used a flight of stairs to get to the large open roof above.

The sound of Titans grew louder, something was moaning in pain and there was a crushing and ripping sound being heard as well.

Walking over to the edge of the roof, a light wind swayed the two thick hair strands hanging in front of Kenji's forehead as he attempted to get a good view of the situation. The dark skinned boy widened his eyes at what he was seeing.

"Holy crap..."

The others walked towards Kenji's position to see what he was gaping at,only to have similar reactions.

"What the..."

"That's..."

"They're eating it..." Kenji finally had the words, though they came out bitterly.

The green eyed titan that was demolishing all the others was now pinned against a building, being eaten alive by a swarm of Titans.

"Can't it regenerate?" Armin asked.

"They're not giving it enough time..." Kenji shook his head.

The green eyed Titan had one gnawing on it's left shoulder, another smaller one biting down on his right arm and a litter of other Titans feasting on it's upper body.

This was something they'd never seen before. When a human was eaten,it was over pretty quickly... but in this case it was a torturous feast.

Connie's face turned slightly green,Sasha covered her eyes and Marco's legs felt like they had become lead.

"I thought uncovering the truth about that titan would help us break free from this hopeless situation" Mikasa said.

"She's right," Reiner said. "We'll learn nothing if it gets devoured... We have to get rid of the ones clinging to it and then capture it alive"

"Are you insane,Reiner?!" Jean asked. "We can finally get out of here!"

"But what if we could turn this Titan into an ally?" Armin said, before gesturing towards Kenji. " And with him thrown on top,it'd be more powerful than any canon"

"It was one thing to trust this guy," Jean looked at the Ninja. "But now you wanna make a Titan an ally?! are you even listening to yourself?!"

"It's not a bad idea," Kenji eyed the taller boy. "But actually executing that plan won't be anywhere near easy"

Armin pondered on their words silently when his eyes caught a lanky Titan that walked into the clearing.

"That's... the abnormal that ate Thomas!" Armin said.

As if it heard his words,the green eyed Titan looked in the direction of said lanky Titan, it's eyes glowing as it let out a growl behind clenched teeth. Suddenly it launched itself off the building so forcefully that the other Titans who'd been clinging to it fell backwards.

It took a step forward, crushing one's stomach before taking another. The earth shook with it's strides,spiderweb like cracks forming between it's feet. Some other Titans still lingered on it's body,fingers and teeth dug firmly into it's muscled flesh that they tore right off it's shoulders, leaving it with bloody stumps in place of arms.

Still it roared,pain forgotten,the strength of it's roar strong enough to make the onlookers shield their ears.

It almost filled Kenji with nostalgia as he remembered charging at two sound ninja the same way during the Sasuke retrieval mission,kunai and Shuriken imbedded in his skin.

"What the-" Jean screamed as the green eyed rogue Titan bit into the lankier one's neck – the same Titan who devoured their friend. Everyone was stunned, even Kenji was.

The green eyed Titan lifted the lankier one. Muscles strained and veins bulging with the amount of effort.

A few titans from before attempted to attack the rogue but they were all killed or sent flying.

After all seemed calm and the dust had cleared,the rogue opened it's mouth and dropped the limp corpse of the thin abnormal,nape crushed.

One more roar and the rogue Titan dropped to the floor. The entire group watched in stillness as the titans evaporated... that was their final cue. Shoulders dropped and lots of relieved sighs were heard.

It was over.

"Wait a minute..." Kenji said. "I thought Titans only evaporated when you cut their napes"

"Well maybe it has a li... mit" Armin almost forgot what he was about to say when the Titan's nape parted to reveal a person.

Kenji could barely see through the steam but he saw someone he was sure was about their age.

"Is that... Eren?" Sasha asked.

Gasping,Mikasa took off towards the figure, ignoring Armin's calls. She ran towards him as fast as she could. As soon as she reached him,she threw her arms around him and his body slumped against her. She desperately placed her ear to his chest and to her relief,she heard the rythmic thudding of his heart. Mikasa then began to cry, regardless of who saw.

The one person she had left was still alive.
