A/N: It's been a while since I worked on a Supergirl x Green Arrow story. This is a reboot of the series I worked on 2 years ago. The reason why I haven't worked on Green Arrow and Supergirl stories is because I am focusing on Batman's story which is kind of like Anakin Skywalker's story.
Anyway, this story is made because recently I was watching the Invincible episodes. And it gave me one heck of an idea. You'll see. Enjoy the first chapter of how Green Arrow and Supergirl met.
Queen Mansion, Starling National City
Oliver Queen is surrounded by Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E.. His allies have been defeated. Thea Queen and Malcolm Merlyn are injured, John Diggle is also injured, Felicity Smoak is killed by Damien Darhk, Black Canary's unconscious body floats because Damien used his telekinesis on her.
"Well, a dramatic finish I should say for you, Mr. Queen.", Damien remarks, smiling at him. Green Arrow is on his knees. His quiver full of arrows has been smashed and his suit is damaged. "This could've all been avoided if you weren't stupid and accepted my proposal. Your little cave, your mansion, everything would be the same as it was before. No, Mr. Queen did the exact opposite which is why you are going to pay.".
Green Arrow tried to stand, but fell to his knees again. Being thrown around the room, constantly strangled has weakened him. He can't fight even if he wanted to.
"Years ago, I hear stories dark knights had fallen, so in my twist, I thought about what I call this: arrows had fallen.", Damien wondered. He laughed. "Honestly it's symbolic considering all your arrows either broke or fell off your quiver.".
Green Arrow tried to catch a breath. It's hard to breathe. Swarm of fire in the mansion. He tries to reach his bow, only to experience his hand stomped by Darhk. He growls knowing Damien stopped him from grabbing his bow.
"I think your hand has reached far enough.", Damien said. Afterward he turns to Thea Queen. She is not completely senseless. "Out of sympathy, Queen, I will let you say your last words to your sister before I kill you.". Damien uses his telekinesis to instantly make Oliver's body float. He proceeds to take Oliver with him to Thea. "Ms. Queen, I believe your brother has some words to say before his death.". Oliver isn't saying words. His mouth isn't moving.
Once he is close to Damien, Green Arrow struck Damien's face. As Damien fell, Green Arrow kicks him and continues kicking him until the H.I.V.E. soldiers dragged him away from Darhk. The soldiers punched Green Arrow, but the latter shoves a few soldiers away. He strikes the fallen soldiers before getting kneed by the other soldiers. Green Arrow is outnumbered by ten to one. His current condition is not great, he does not have his bow or arrows, and his allies are subdued either temporarily or permanently. He tried to beat them. After a minute, Green Arrow is finally quelled. He is restrained by two soldiers while Darhk approaches Green Arrow.
"Okay, enough is enough.", Damien said. He presses his hand on Green Arrow's chest as he starts absorbing Green Arrow's life force energy. "I'm enjoy watching you and your friends die! Say goodbye, the Hood!".
When Darhk mentioned the Hood, it seems he's trying to make Oliver remember his first year of being vigilante. He was a ruthless vigilante that didn't care who is dead as long as the mission is complete. He couldn't believe his last years of being the Green Arrow is when his life gets destroyed by an enemy he cannot destroy.
As Damien close to seeing Oliver finally dead, a rupture from behind pushed him and his soldiers away. It stopped Damien from killing the Green Arrow much to Damien's annoyance. "Who dares?", Damien said. He was answered with a sudden shove. Damien hit the wall and immediately became senseless.
The soldiers attempted to shoot the attacker, only to suddenly get knocked unconscious.
Green Arrow wondered who saved him. Was it Barry Allen? No it can't be. He could never break through a wall, but it was fast. Must be Superman. Green Arrow told him many times to leave the city protection to him. He never listens. A figure levitated before Oliver. Oliver realized his savior isn't Superman. His savior has long blonde hair and she wears a skirt. Superman doesn't wear skirts, and he doesn't have long hair.
The figure landed and used super breath to clear the fire. Once the fire is gone, the savior turned to help Green Arrow. "You're going to be okay Mr. Queen.".
The voice is feminine. Super-speed, super-strength and super-breath. "Supergirl?", Oliver said in surprise. As Oliver looks at the savior's symbol of 'S', he slowly loses his sight until he becomes senseless. Regardless, Oliver will remember the one hero who truly saved him: Supergirl.
A/N: I know in comics Green Arrow operates in Star City. The reason for the change to Starling National City is because I wanted to combine Supergirl's city and Green Arrow's city, which you might've already known.
