Amethyst Waters moved to Collinsport, Maine from London and Hogwarts. Barnabas finds out of what she is and he deeply falls for her. Barnabas Collins never ages and never dies in this story. Victoria avoided the vampire and she married Jeff and wants nothing to do with Barnabas.
Chapter One. From Hogwarts To Collinsport, Maine.
Twenty one year old Amethyst Waters was originally from northern Maine with her parents, who were Muggles. Her father, Vincent Waters and the family moved to London when he was transferred to a company there where it was more money for him and his family. Her mother's maiden name was Winters and she married a Waters. Her mother's name was Katherine. All up until Amethyst was around three or four years old. She was showing magic, floating things in the air while asleep in bed, but while her parents were asleep. Amethyst was not sure if her parents ever believed in magic or not then. But unfortunately, her father never believed in it and it hurt her feelings.
She was also the cousin of Victoria Winters. Amethyst's mother, Katherine and her brother, Edward Winters were the two children and few other family members from Maine. Edward and his wife, Mary had a daughter, Victoria, but her parents were killed in a car accident and she was raised in an orphanage Until she was eighteen. Vincent and Katherine Waters lived in Maine and had a daughter, Amethyst before moving to London, England. Amethyst was the only Muggle born witch in the family. Amethyst Waters was the most loving and caring woman that any one has ever met.
At the age of eleven, Amethyst got a letter from Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She never knew at first that she was a Muggle born witch until when she read the letter from Albus and Minerva and she was in fact a witch. Her parents were shocked when they found out that she was a Muggle born witch. When she was going into her first year at Hogwarts, her parents disowned her and they also think that she was a freak and not believing in magic. That hurt her feelings very deeply. So she ended up living at Hogwarts with Albus and Minerva. Dumbledore was like a Grandfather to Amethyst and he took good care of her.
Waters did some family research with the help of Minerva and Albus on Amethyst's mother's side and she found out that she had a cousin Victoria Winters was living in Collinsport, Maine. The only cousin that she may have left. Amethyst had pure turquoise eye color. Waters had long brown blond hair and always puts it in a pony tail. She was shy, but she could defend herself if any one would hurt her by using her wand against any one, who would harm her or worse. She knew that Voldemort and his followers were going after Muggle Borns, including her by torture and even worse. Death.
In her fifth year at Hogwarts, Amethyst had a letter by owl that her parents and Grand parents were killed in a Death Eater raid and she was in grief. She was disowned by them, but she loved them none the less. Waters was in Albus' office. He knew that she had to go back to the states to where she was from. To live a new chapter in her life. Dumbledore knew that she was lonely, sad and abandoned when she was disowned by her father. But her mother wanted to see and visit her, but Vincent prevented her from seeing their daughter their own flesh and blood because of what she is. Amethyst was devastated.
In her room at Hogwarts, Waters was packing her things. Amethyst was moving back to Maine. She stood up and she pointed her wand at her things. "Diminuendo!" (Meaning shrinking things.) She waved her wand and she shrunk her things. After that was done, She picked up her luggage and placed them into her pants pocket and kept them safe and hidden for the time being. She placed her wand up her sleave of her shirt to stay there safely before she picked up her bag and wrap it around her shoulder and Amethyst walked out of her then room at Hogwarts. Waters knew that she would come back to Hogwarts at any day and any time when she wanted to come and visit Albus and Minerva. She hoped to find her pet bat, Barnabas. He was around somewhere. Hopefully, Amethyst would see him when she gets to Maine.
Outside near the Black Lake, Amethyst was walking down the hill towards the gates of Hogwarts and young Mr. Filch and another care tasker saw her and she explained that she was moving back to the states and she had mentioned about what her and Albus talked about. The care taker and young Mr. Filch was following orders to not let any one outside of the school gates, in which was understandable, but he reluctantly agreed and he opened the gate for her. Waters walked out and she apparated on the spot and out of sight. But she did not know that she was being followed by an unwelcome person undetected.
Moments later, the crack of apparation was heard, but no one paid too much attention to the sound any ways and Amethyst undetected appeared in an alley in London and out of any one's sight. Amethyst took her wand out and she transfigured her clothes to disguised herself, so no one would detect and seek her out by Voldemort's followers along with other Muggles. Waters was afraid of getting caught by Death Eaters and even be killed by the Dark Lord and his other followers. Amethyst walked out onto the side walk, down towards the ship yard. She was going home back to Maine.
Days later after she arrived in Collinsport, Maine, at around five at night, Amethyst apparated in town undetected from a near by ship from London. Waters found her pet bat and she was very happy to see him. He was on a ship, hiding. Barnabas was now back with his owner. Amethyst had to keep her bat and herself hidden, so no one would see them. She felt that she was being watched. Waters was a bit tired after all the traveling between Hogwarts, London, northern Maine and then, went down to Collinsport. The Waters and the Winters were very little of the family members. Waters knew that Victoria was the only family member she had left after finding out about her family research on her mother's side.
Amethyst was walking over towards the main road to find where Victoria was staying. She asked some of the people around and they told her that Victoria was staying with the Collins at Collinwood. Waters went towards where one of the men at The Blue Whale bar told her to go. The unknown and unwelcome person was still following her. As she was walking a quarter of a mile down the road, Amethyst looked down at where her bat was in under her light jacket. "Well, Barnabas, looks like we have to go and look for Victoria and see what her reaction would be. Don't you think so, Barnabas?" She said smiling. Her bat clung to his owner as she petted him on his little head and her bat softly screeched affectionately in response as she walked down the street. God knows what will happen next. This night would be very interesting indeed.
