Chapter Thirty-Four
Just before Midnight, the Hamato Clan and the Sharks were making their way to the Foot Headquarters.
The Turtles, Monalisa, Pandora, Kemeko, Splinter, Bends, April, and Casey were in the Battle Shell whilst the Sharks were on their respected vehicles.
Casey drove the Battle Shell whilst the others were in the back.
Donatello and Leonardo looked at the map of the headquarters and pointed out the different exits and entrances.
The plan was that the sharks were going to drive or fly on their vehicles to the different sides of the building then they were to dive down into the ground then break in through the floor areas of the Headquarters where there were storerooms.
Meanwhile the turtles and Monalisa were to enter the building via certain entrances via the vents then they would follow the directions of April and Bends who would navigate them through the building via ear communicators.
"Alright." Leonardo said, "Everyone has their cells charged to full power, watches synchronised, and you all know where to enter the building?"
"We do yes!" Raphael replied.
"Ditto!" Michelangelo agreed whilst Monalisa and Donatello nodded.
"We're here!" Casey called from the front with April as he parked the Battle Shell and April climbed into the back to join the mutants and Bends as well as set up the equipment to begin navigating.
"Great stuff!" Donatello smiled then nodded at Leonardo.
Leonardo then called Ripster who instantly answered after two rings.
"Ripster here!"
"Hey Rip, it's Leo, Okay! We've parked the Battle Shell, are you and the other Sharks in position?"
"We are!" Ripster said "I just got word from the boys! They're all where they need to be!"
Pandora chewed her lip.
"I hope they'll be alright." She thought to herself.
Before they got into the Battle Shell back at the hanger at the lair, she had hugged Streex tightly (Much to Michelangelo's annoyance) and made him promise to stay safe.
"No problameo kid!" Streex had grinned as he hugged her back "Your Top Shark Man's gonna come out fighting! Just like he always does!"
Kemeko noticed her cousin's discomfort and placed a hand on hers to which Pandora smiled at her in grattitude.
"Okay." Leonardo said, "If you're ready to roll, then so are we!"
"Right!" Ripster said "We're waiting on your call, then it's Shark Attack!"
"I'll be in touch soon!" Leonardo replied then hung up the Shell-Cell.
As he did, he looked at everyone and sighed.
"Okay." He said "I know we've done this before, going into enemy territory, and we're about to do the most dangerous thing, but we can do this! For the World, for the city, for the people, and for our friends and loved ones."
The other turtles and Monalisa sighed, and Splinter lowered his head.
As much as Splinter was confident that his sons and daughter could handle anything thrown at them, like they had in the past, as any parent would, he worried greatly for his children and knew that they were risking their lives going into the Foot Headquarters and stopping what could be a serious threat, not just to New York, but the world.
"We go in there, we kick some Foot Ninja butt, and we stop this threat!" Leonardo said, "And we won't stop until whatever Shredder and Paradigm have planned is destroyed."
"Right on!" Raphael growled.
"We'll either stop this threat or die trying!" Michelangelo stated.
"Please don't die!" Kemeko and Pandora said together, both looking scared.
Even though they were used to seeing their parents going on missions to fight, it still scared them the thought of their parents, Uncles and Aunt not coming home alive.
"We'll be okay Little Geisha." Raphael promised as he turned to look at Pandora and opened his arms and at once, Pandora leapt into his arms and hugged him tightly.
Monalisa also joined in the hug and stroked her daughter's hair.
"Don't be scared Princess." She whispered, "Your daddy and I will come home to you!"
At the same time, Kemeko hugged Leonardo.
"I love you daddy!" she said with a soft sob "Please come home alive!"
Bends wiped a tear from his eye as he observed the tenderness between Leonardo and Kemeko.
"I will Lotus." Leonardo said softly "I will return to you, that's a promise I intend to keep!"
He then kissed his adopted daughter's cheek as he released her from the hug.
Even though he had been lucky in the past to come back from battles alive, if not wounded, he made it his mission that he would never leave Kemeko parentless, even though she was only a baby when Karai died and hadn't even been born when her real father Chaplin had been murdered, he knew Kemeko would be heartbroken if anything happened to him.
Michelangelo and Donatello then hugged Pandora and Kemeko and promised they would return safe as well.
"I swear I'll come back!" Michelangelo pinched Pandora's cheek "Your favourite Uncle always comes back, right?"
Pandora nodded and hugged him tighter.
"I love you so much Uncle Mike!" she said.
Michelangelo hugged Pandora back even tighter, in a way he felt he needed that hug, especially since he had felt neglected by her since she had been spending more time with Streex than him.
Monalisa noticed this and she placed her hand on Michelangelo's shoulder to which the youngest turtle looked up.
"Time to go." She mouthed softly and Michelangelo sighed and gently let go of Pandora who had a couple of tears in her eyes.
April, Casey and Bends also gave the turtles and Monalisa their earpieces and after making sure they were working and linked to the computer equipment in the Battle Shell, they too shook hands, or hugged each other to say good luck.
"Stay safe all of you!" April said.
"Look after my buddies, won't you?" Bends asked.
"Go get them green dudes!" Casey encouraged.
"Take great care my children." Splinter said, "And if there is trouble, we will listen out for the distress call."
"Thank you, Sensei." Leonardo replied then looked at his brothers and Monalisa.
"Okay." He said, "When you're ready?"
"We're ready Fearless." Raphael said, he looked at Pandora one more time and blew her a kiss.
Leonardo stroked Kemeko's cheek then stepped away, the other turtles and Monalisa following him.
"Stay safe." Pandora prayed.
Kemeko again squeezed Pandora's hands, both as a comfort to her cousin and to herself.
Splinter also noticed the girls' worried looked and walked over to comfort them.
At the same time, Casey joined in with keeping the girls spirits up.
"Come on girls!" he said "You know they'll be alright? They'll go in there, stop the bad guys then come out in time for tea!"
Pandora and Kemeko giggled at their funny bone-head they called Uncle Casey.
April and Bends chuckled at the sight then looked to the computers where they got ready to assist the turtles and Sharks.
April was at one computer that showed a map of the Foot Headquarters as well as several coloured dots that represented the turtles.
Blue for Leonardo.
Red for Raphael.
Pink for Monalisa.
Purple for Donatello, and of course Orange for Michelangelo.
With the sharks there was a black dot for Ripster.
A light blue one for Streex.
Brown for Jab, and white for Slammu.
Bends meanwhile had access to the cameras on the outside of the building as well as access to a few small silent drones he and Donatello had set up earlier that flew around the headquarters.
April turned to Bends.
"Ready?" she asked.
Bends nodded and put on a large pair of earphones and April did the same.
"Okay guys!" April confirmed "Ready when you are!"
"Thanks April!" Leonardo's voice was heard in her ears.
Pandora, Kemeko, Casey and Splinter stood behind April and Bends and watched everything.
Both girls were fascinated by the colours of the dots that represented their friends, parents, uncles and aunt and they gripped each other's hands tightly.
"I don't know about you Kem!" Pandora whispered to Kemeko "But this reminds me of the system that was used in the first Alien film!"
Kemeko blinked confused then she realised and looked at her hybrid cousin.
"Oh yes! Come to think of it, it does!"
She then gulped as she remembered a certain scene in the movie where one of the main characters was in a vent and was being stalked by the Xenomorph.
"That scene gave me nightmares for weeks." She muttered under her breath.
She soon felt Splinter's paw squeeze her shoulder and she chewed her lip and looked back at the screen, focusing especially on the dot that represented her father.
April frowned and Bends chewed his lip nervously.
"They're going in." April mouthed and typed a few keys on the keyboard "The Sharks have begun their dive into the ground."
"Shark Attack." Bends spoke softly.
"And the turtles and Mona have found their entrance points!" April added "Commencing diversions!"
Casey smirked and gave a thumbs up and Pandora and Kemeko looked at each other pleased and Splinter took a breath proudly.
Yet, whilst the four humans, mutant turtle/lizard hybrid and rat were hiding in the Battle Shell, they had no idea they were being watched.
On a building a few blocks away, some Foot Ninja scouts had been scouring the area and one of them with binoculars spotted the Battle Shell!
He hadn't been sure at first, but as soon as he saw the design and the make of the vehicle, there was no mistaking it!
"Hey!" he tapped his colleague's leg and the ninja looked over.
"What is it? What have you spotted?"
"Take a look!" the ninja replied handing him the binoculars and the second one brought them to his eyes.
No sooner did he do so than he saw the same Battle Shell.
"No way!" he said.
"Yes way!" his mate replied.
"Looks like the turtles have arrived!"
"Well, the vehicles there!"
"We better inform the masters! In the meantime, alert the others, as well as the V5!"
"With pleasure!"

So the Sharks and the Hamato clan have decided to attack the Foot Headquarters! We're building up to the action!
But uh oh! The Foot Ninja Scouts have spotted the Battle Shell!
If anyone has seen the first Alien film, a favouraite of mine! They may remember one of the most frighting moments in the film where a crew member is in the vents and they're stalked and finally slaughtered by the fearsome Xenomorph! The Chest Burster scene wasn't the only scene that terrified viewers!
