A/N Hello everyone and welcome to my first fanfic. This is just going to be my idea of how the story should continue from the ending after you beat the final boss. Just to warn you I will be working with a few popular theories with this story, as well as some of my own. Which ones? Well, you'll just need to wait and see.

Also, I will mention that I do not own Five Nights at Freddy's or Security Breach in any shape or form. They are the property of Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool Studios. I am only making this story for fun. Anyway, lets begin with the prologue.

It was unbelievable that this could have happened, at least at first, but with the controversies surrounding this company, people wound up understanding fairly quickly. Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, a huge mall and entertainment complex featuring state-of-the-art technology, attractions for all ages, and everyone's favorite animatronic characters, was set to be Fazbear Entertainment's return to glory after so many rumors of murders and disappearances. But not long after it's opening, there were more reports of missing children and the rumors began again, until one night the place was almost completely burned to the ground.

Merchandise, food preparation, and the complex's robotic staff were among the damaged, and the building was deemed to be condemned. It was determined that the fire began under the go-cart racetrack, which according to former employees was built over unstable ground, but the strange thing was it seemed to have begun from under the track. It was then that speculation began about the fire being arson, but the authorities were barred from investigating further by legal action taken from Fazbear Entertainment. The rumors began again at full swing at this point, ranging from a disgruntled employee starting the fire, to the old stories that the animatronics were haunted by the spirits of murdered children. Little did anyone know that the person who was the catalyst for the whole thing was searching for answers himself.

A ten-year-old orphan boy named Gregory snuck into the Pizzaplex the night the fire started to seek refuge from his home on the street, and found out himself that there may have been something to these rumors. He was hunted by most of the animatronics that night, along with a strange woman in a makeshift bunny costume. He found many disturbing sights during his time that he was locked in the complex after closing, but was ironically protected from danger by the company's very own mascot, Freddy Fazbear himself.

As the two uncovered the unsettling history of Fazbear Entertainment in their attempt to escape, they found themselves trapped in one of the old pizzerias owned by the company being hunted by a strange entity that attempted to take control of everything mechanical in that place. The fire began as a result of a struggle between the two and the entity, but an open opportunity was made for the boy and the bear to escape, but the Pizzaplex was destroyed as a result, as it was built on top of the old location.

About 30 minutes after this had occurred, the pair had found themselves outside on the top of a hill. As they were watching the sunrise, they found themselves contemplating what they would do now. Gregory decided to break the silence between the two by first mentioning his situation.

"Freddy," he said softly, "I should have told you this before, but . . . I'm an orphan. I've been living in a cardboard box for about a month, and I've got nowhere to go right now."

The animatronic bear looked upon Gregory sadly. He had a feeling something like this would be the case.

"I am so sorry Gregory," he finally mentioned. "I had a feeling something like that would be the case, but I hoped it would not be true."

Gregory buried his head in his knees. "What are we gonna do now? There's no way I could find a way to charge you, and it's not like I could buy batteries for you. I don't have any money."

"I do not know," said Freddy. "I am no longer on reduced power, and the safety restrictions for holding my charge outside the Pizzaplex are no longer active. My charge should last longer now. However, it will still run out in 24 hours at least."

"So once that happens, I'm on my own again," said Gregory. He heaved a sigh and continued, "I thought I finally got my first friend, and I'm going to lose him in less than a day."

Freddy noticed the child was beginning to cry and touched a hand to his shoulder. "I can at least be here for you now, Gregory. I just wish we could have done the same for my friends."

He was of course referring to his fellow mascots that performed with him, who were chasing down Gregory not long ago. Though, it appeared they were behaving against their programming, so there may have been a possibility to save them. At least that's what Freddy thought.

"Even if we could have," said Gregory, "they'd still be in the same situation you are. I don't want to lose you! You've been like a dad to me."

"I just tried my best to protect you," said Freddy, "I do not know that there is much more we can do at this point." The two held each other close, knowing how unfair this would be.

"Maybe I can help."

The two were startled by a feminine voice coming from behind them. They turned around quickly and found none other than Vanessa, the night guard from the Pizzaplex standing behind them. This immediately put Gregory on edge, as he had an immediate sense of distrust for her that night, and it did not seem to help that she released the other animatronics and allowed them to hunt him. He did note however, that she now seemed more troubled than before.

"What are you doing here?" he demanded.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay," she answered immediately, "and to say that I'm sorry for even starting this whole mess."

Gregory scowled and turned away. "Why should I forgive you?" he asked bitingly, "Those things tried to kill me, and you let it happen."

"I was trying to keep my job and I lost sight of what actually needed to be done," she said, "but now I guess that job's gone anyway, so it doesn't really matter. I know that something was causing the animatronics to freak out, but I didn't care."

"So, you went after me instead of that bunny lady?" said Gregory indignantly. "She was probably the one messing with them and you just let her go!" Then he remembered that for some reason he was the only one that could see the rabbit lady. "What am I saying?" he continued defeatedly "You probably couldn't see her either."

Vanessa stepped forward. "I could see Vanny," she said, "but there were reasons I didn't go after her directly."

Freddy tensed slightly at the mention of the rabbit lady's name, and it caught Gregory's attention enough to turn around again.

"You know her name?" asked Freddy.

"There's a lot I know about her," said Vanessa glumly, "and I wish I didn't. There are a lot of things I've found out about this company and the people in it that I wish I didn't know."

'So Vanny does have something to do with this company,' thought Gregory. 'Great.'

There were still plenty of questions Gregory had about Fazbear Entertainment after that night at the Pizzaplex. Freddy had given him a novelty Fazwatch to communicate, but he was able to find multiple documents using it relating to what seems to be shady business behind the scenes. With this in mind, he returned to what Vanessa mentioned about what she knew.

"Like what?" he asked.

"There's a lot," she replied, "I don't think I'll be able to explain everything here. Like I said though, I can help you guys. I'll let you both stay at my house. I actually used to work with the programming division, but I also dabbled a little with the tech side of things. I set up a charging station at my house in case I wanted to tackle some private projects, so you can use that for now, Freddy. And I think a shower could do us both some good, Gregory." She looked embarrassed in spite of herself. "If you come and stay, I promise I'll explain everything I know."

Gregory looked at her skeptically. He never once trusted adults since his parents died, but he wondered, could this be something different? He looked at her standing there with almost a pleading look on her face, wondering what she could possibly do to him, that she hasn't done already. What he read the night before showed that he was higher up in the company before this, but could she actually provide the answer for what actually just happened to them? Confusion evident on his face, he turned to Freddy, the one he knew he could trust. The bear took a deep breath and implored "It's your decision, Superstar."

Slightly smiling at his new nickname, the boy turned to Vanessa and gave her a final once over. Finally, he folded his arms and muttered, "Okay, but I'm leaving if you try anything funny."

The security guard gave a tired and weak smile. "Come on then," she said. "We better get you something to eat."

So, Vanessa took the boy and the bear in. For another month she cared for Gregory as the child that he was and made sure Freddy was running at prime condition. And as promised, she explained to them what she knew the dark history of Fazbear Entertainment beginning with the founding of the company, specifically the story of one William Afton.

A/N And there you go! I hope you enjoyed the prologue and that it has set a good tone for this story for you. I'll do my best to make this a story with some scares, suspense, heart, and maybe a few laughs along the way. There will be some OCs thrown in here as well, so I hope you like them, too. Thanks again for reading and please leave a review if you can. Bye!
