Author Notes: ok, I know that as an author I am usually crappy at keeping things updated, but I am putting all I have into this story. Just keep up reviews and you'll be fine.

Summary: A summer spent doing what he wanted changed Harry into a different person. Will be Slash (HPDM) and is also Severitus Challenge. Go read his stuff…it's great (p.s. The challenge is that Harry's real father is actually Severus Snape.)

Prologue

Summer holiday's started off bad and then turned worse. And it all happened within the first few hours of the summer hols.

flashback/

"Get in the car boy!" Uncle Vernon spat at Harry.

"Yes, Uncle Vernon," Harry answered.

When they got back to Privet Drive Vernon left Harry to drag his trunk and Hedwig inside the house. When Harry got back into the house Aunt Petunia immediately stuffed a list of chores under his nose.

"Get to work. No food until it's done."

"No."

Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia turned around slowly in disbelief.

"What did you just say?" Vernon asked.

"I said no!" Harry yelled.

Vernon and Petunia stood there shocked. Had Harry just stood up to them? What was happening? When Dudley walked in the room, he immediately tried to pick on Harry, but was unsuccessful.

"The poor baby! He can't even do chores!" Dudley remarked.

"Coming from the son of the pig of pigs! What an idiotic thing to say, especially for you! Hell, you've never done an honest day's work in your life!" Harry yelled back.

"Get. Out." Vernon said.

"You want me to leave? Your only source of cooking and cleaning and gardening? Fine I'll leave…and I wont be coming back next hols, so this is your last chance to save face and get all your work done for free over summer." Harry bit back spitefully.

"Get. Out. Of. My. House. NOW!" Petunia yelled.

"Alright then. Bye." Harry said, gathering his trunk and opening Hedwig's cage, and telling her to go to Hogwarts, and using wandless magic to shrink and put a weightless charm on his trunk, slipped it into his pocket and closed the door after him.

He was finally free of the Dursley's. What was he going to do for the rest of the summer?
