Side Notes: If you haven't seen or read about the Wonder Woman 1970's TV show episode The Deadly Toys? Please do before reading this story. It'll make more sense this way, because this is a alternate take of that episode.

One day, on Earth-1975...

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman is in IRAC's computer room.

IRAC asks, "are you sure you want to do this, Diana? Your secret identity is safe with me. You could just ask me for advice."

With a smile... Earth-1975 Wonder Woman somewhat nervously highlights, "Ira... I do trust you. I don't expect you to completely understand. But... Sometimes people, to get comforted about a very personal matter, need to reach out to different people they also trust."

IRAC concludes, "I don't completely understand this need of humans. But, I trust you."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman adds, "thank you, Ira."

She supposes, "let me try to rephrase it a little. Have you ever gotten to talk to a super-intelligent computer a lot like yourself?"

IRAC reasons, "it sounds like a wonderful computational possibility Diana. I...somewhat understand now."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman figures, "great. If I find any super-intelligent computers like you? I'll be sure to arrange a meeting for you."

IRAC concludes, "that would be great. Thank you Diana."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman says, "you're welcome. I'm going to make that call now."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman is holding her portable mirror in one hand.

She touches the ruby star on her tiara. She calls the central reality Wonder Woman.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman says, "hello Diana."

From her portable mirror... Wonder Woman says, "hello Diana. You seem troubled. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman implies, "actually, there are two things. I need your advice, and I have a favor to ask you."

Wonder Woman remarks, "if it's a favor of the world saving kind? You could have just asked me to come over and fill me in on details then. I'd be happy to help you save your world."

They both chuckle. They both smile some.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman explains, "I'm afraid it's a little more complicated than that, Diana. Nervous gulp. Veronica Cale from Earth-2011 is likely selling androids to both sides good and bad. My organization, the IADC, would want more evidence to prove it because they have no idea of Earth-2011 or how shady Earth-2011 Veronica Cale is."

Wonder Woman firmly nods.

She figures, "no problem. I'll see what I can do."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman kind of lightly goes, "great! But..."

Wonder Woman brings up, "I know that look, Diana. There's a catch coming, isn't there?"

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman nervously sighs.

She continues, "yes there is. IADC is seriously considering buying androids of Wonder Woman...from Earth-2011 Veronica Cale."

Wonder Woman looks wide eyed in shock.

Wonder Woman reasons, "I'll call Harbinger. I can with her help get to your world soon."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman concludes, "please do. Oh! And we don't got to worry about vibrational constants. Me and Ira did calculations on the universe for months. We're all in the same universe now with one vibrational constant. It's just different planets: Not universes."

Wonder Woman considers, "which means we can, without cosmic side effects, visit each other in person as long as we like. Me and The Monitor aren't speaking to each other these days. So... I'm thankful for your assurance, Diana and Ira."

IRAC adds, "you're both welcome."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman both smile. They chuckle a little.

Thirty five mortal minutes later...

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman as Earth-1975 Diana Prince was about to check the lab of the scientist Dr. Tobias. He was recently replaced by a android of unknown origin. The IADC wanted Earth-1975 Diana to check it out.

A mystery figure has drawn out a knife.

He warns, "stay right where you are. Don't move."

With a smirk... Wonder Woman adds, "you know? I was going to tell you the same thing."

She easily knocks the knife out of the figure's hand. The figure looks nervous.

Suddenly... Two android lookalikes of Earth-2011 Wonder Woman appear.

The first android Wonder Woman says, "our creator was expecting you, Wonder Women." The second android Wonder Woman warns, "you have one last chance to walk away from this IADC case. If you don't? We with our advanced capabilities will destroy you."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman scoffs. She says, "I don't think so."

Wonder Woman deduces, "we're not going anywhere. If you want to stop us from finding your creator Veronica Cale? You're going to have try harder than...that."

Both androids darkly grin. They have lassoes of electrically sparking wires come out their wrists.

Wonder Woman barely tumbles out of the way of a wire lasso.

It hits some lab chemicals instead. A fire starts to spread across the lab.

One of the Wonder Woman androids gets a wire lasso around Earth-1975 Wonder Woman.

She groans hard. She mutters, "oh gods! That packs a punch."

She struggles to stay conscious.

Teary eyed... Wonder Woman worriedly calls out, "Diana! !"

She hard jump kicks off one of the androids's heads.

In mid-air... She gets her golden lasso around both of the second android's arms.

The android's arms lock into place.

Electricity runs across the android's arms and head...short circuiting it.

The fire burns the wire lasso away.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman tumbles out of range of the explosion.

Wonder Woman is grabbed in mid-air by the first android. She's thrown hard into a desk.

Wonder Woman groans hard. She's dizzy.

The first android gets a wire lasso ready for her.

But... Earth-1975 Nubia fires her light gun pointer at the wire lasso first.

The android catches fire. It explodes.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman add, "thank you."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman gets to her feet.

Earth-1975 Nubia smiles. She helps Wonder Woman get back up.

Earth-1975 Nubia has mostly silvery battle wear with a golden falcon across it. She also has a purple skirt as a part of her battle wear.

All three Amazons fast walk out of the burning building. The building explodes behind them.

They all sigh in mixed relief.

Earth-1975 Nubia adds, "you're welcome. And you don't need to worry: I got this guy."

She puts the mystery guy down on the ground. She had carried him out of the building.

He's coughing hard some from being recently punched by her.

Earth-1975 Nubia continues, "sorry I'm late. I had some android lookalikes of Earth-2011 Wonder Woman to take down first. Which of you is the real Diana?"

Both Wonder Women chuckle. The teariness in their eyes has dried up.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman tries to assure, "don't worry. We both are."

She and Earth-1975 Nubia whisper some to each other. They both smile.

Earth-1975 Nubia realizes, "you really are the Wonder Woman of this world."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman explains to Wonder Woman, "we gave each other passwords shortly after hearing about the androids so we could be sure we're not replaced by androids."

Wonder Woman lightly goes, "ohh."

Earth-1975 Nubia tells Earth-1975 Wonder Woman, "...because you've been worrying too much about Veronica Cale. Like I would let either of us be replaced by androids? Please! I'm a honorary Amazon with plenty of training, and you have Amazon training too."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman calls out, "so did the androids that tried to destroy us!"

They both annoyedly glare at each other.

Wonder Woman somewhat sternly goes, "ahem."

Earth-1975 Nubia and Earth-1975 Wonder Woman look nervous at her.

Earth-1975 Nubia elaborates, "me and my partner...disagree strongly about the business offer from Veronica Cale. I'm sorry. This is not a good time to talk about it."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman comments, "on that we agree."

Wonder Woman realizes, "ohh. I see."

With a faint smile... Earth-1975 Nubia considers, "still... It's a pleasure to meet you too, Wonder Woman. My honorary Amazon title is Nubia. But, I also go by Carolyn."

With a faint smile... Wonder Woman adds, "thank you Nubia."

Wonder Woman offers, "Diana... Would you do the honor of questioning this man?"

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman says, "I would be happy to."

She gets her golden lasso around the figure.

She tries to question him about androids and Veronica Cale.

But... The golden glow from the golden lasso shows flashes of circuitry around his face.

Before the cosmic might of the golden lasso... The android turns into a pile of circuits, magic mirror fragments, and ketchup like goop.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman tensely remarks, "well... He certainly wasn't made for truth."

All three Amazons give each other nervous looks.

Twenty minutes later...

Both Wonder Women are back at I.A.D.C. headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman as Earth-1975 Diana is nervously pacing.

With some mixed feelings... Earth-1975 Diana mutters, "I don't believe this. We told Steve Trevor Jr. exactly why those androids were there. Veronica Cale claims the Wonder Women androids that fought us were all faulty androids that escaped her android factory, and that it was good they were destroyed. She also claims the android henchman was a different plot of terror. We can confirm the android henchman came from Veronica Cale too. And yet, the IADC is buying her story. Heavy sigh. Faulty androids, my eye!"

Wonder Woman puts a comforting hand on hers.

Wonder Woman points out, "I know. We also told Ira to search for any sign of Veronica Cale. But... Heavy sigh. We're coming up blank. The best we can do now is wait until something..."

Two phones suddenly ring: One by Earth-1975 Diana's desk, and one by I.R.A.C's computer.

Earth-1975 Diana figures, "well, Diana... Chuckle. It looks like we got our wish."

Wonder Woman lightly adds, "see? I told you something would come up."

They both smile.

Wonder Woman considers, "with Veronica Cale though knowing we're both on this world? We can't be too careful. I'll check the computer room in case it's a trap."

Earth-1975 Diana says, "good idea. I'm very likely turning back into Wonder Woman after I take this call." Wonder Woman adds, "I understand."

Earth-1975 Diana answers the phone at her desk. Wonder Woman answers the other phone call.

One of the calls is from Earth-1975 Steve Trevor Jr. The other is from Earth-1975 Major Dexter.

Both calls tell the Wonder Women the same thing: Remote controlled toy planes equipped with smoke bombs and laser fast fire are targeting two safe houses where two scientists are, and the I.A.D.C. wants both Wonder Women's help in protecting the two scientists.

Not long after...

Smoke comes from two apartment buildings. The locations of the aforementioned safe houses.

I.A.D.C. guards fire light gun pointers at several mostly yellow remote controlled toy planes.

Some toy planes explode in laser fast fire.

But... At each of the two apartment buildings... A toy plane drops a smoke bomb in a chimney.

People are being evacuated from the apartment buildings by I.A.D.C. guards. Both Wonder Women escort the two scientists away from the smoke.

After the Crisis of Infinite Visions... Earth-1975's cities have surprisingly easy evacuation plans.

Mountains cover most of Earth-1975: Even taking up whole city blocks worth in places.

There may be mountain crossing street signs to remind people to be on the look out for mountain lions, bears, and goats. But, certain caves in city mountains are very cost effective storm shelters.

Through the smoke clouds... Two figures chase after the Wonder Women.

At the same time... The Wonder Women tell the scientists, "this way!"

Interestingly... They head into a toy store called Jungle King.

By the time the two figures catch up?

A familiar voice realizes, "damn! They already took out the scientists."

It turns out the real Wonder Woman and the real Earth-1975 Wonder Woman were chasing after android lookalikes of themselves.

Their android lookalikes darkly smile. They are carrying the two unconscious scientists away.

And... Earth-2011 Veronica Cale and Earth-1975 Major Dexter have light gun pointers aimed right at the two Wonder Women.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman points out, "I already had a feeling not to blindly trust you like Steve had. Now I fully know why."

Earth-1975 Major Dexter laughs. He twistedly grins.

Wonder Woman and Earth-1975 Wonder Woman easily knock the light gun pointers away.

Wonder Woman laughs. She points out, "you really think you can just get away with this?"

With a twisted grin... Earth-2011 Veronica Cale reveals, "oh Wonder Women. The truth is I didn't really make the androids: I just perfected all the designs. Orlich dear?"

Suddenly... The toymaker Orlich Hoffman opens a red and yellow circus styled box.

Toy butterflies with tranquilizer darts come flying out of the box.

The Wonder Women whack away most of them.

But... Some tranquilizer darts manage to get to them.

They both fall unconscious.

The next day, in the basement level of the toy store...

Both Wonder Women wake up. They find themselves locked in a section of the basement with a steel chain-link fence.

Their android lookalikes and toymaker Orlich are getting the three unconscious scientists ready to ship out to a shady dealer of classified government defense plans.

Earth-2011 Veronica Cale is warningly glaring at a familiar face.

She whispers, "we're not going to destroy the Wonder Women if we don't have to. But, we can't protect both worlds with them getting in my way! They don't trust me and my "shady" dealings. Now... Can you or can you not stand guard for me?"

Earth-1975 Nubia annoyedly glares at her.

Earth-1975 Nubia somewhat tensely mutters back, "fine! Nervous sigh. If it means protecting both of our worlds? I'll do it. You happy now?!"

All too lightly... Earth-2011 Veronica just adds, "very. Thank you."

She twistedly smiles. She goes upstairs with Earth-1975 Orlich to finish putting together a new line of Earth-1975 Wonder Women androids.

Wonder Woman nervously whispers, "now what?!"

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman somewhat nervously suggests, "Carolyn... I'm not going to fight you. You only fire to defend yourself and others. Can't we talk?"

Earth-1975 Nubia nervously smiles. She walks closer to the chain-link fence.

She whispers, "I wish we could Diana. We've been partners. But..."

With a nervous smile... Earth-1975 Wonder Woman implies, "this is one time where you can go back, Carolyn. Back to being with me...if you want to be."

Earth-1975 Nubia gulps nervously.

With mixed feelings... She explains, "Veronica has a proven record of stopping evil on her Earth. She took over Earth-2011 Wonder Woman's worldwide company. The first day she did? She recalled all of that evil Wonder Woman's Wonder Dolls! They're no longer patrolling streets for evil. Please don't misunderstand. I know you're not evil. You're a good person. But... Do you know how much good me and Veronica could do for both this world and ours?"

With a nervous smile... Wonder Woman reasons, "I understand Veronica only told you that part of the story. But, there's more going on than you know Carolyn."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman highlights, "Carolyn... Remember the day we first met? It's when you started to fully realize a evil organization led you astray with promises of good for the world. I saved you from being fired at by police that day because I knew you had good in you. What if Veronica has been leading you astray too?"

Earth-1975 Nubia somewhat tensely concludes, "all right! Heavy sigh. But, we find out the truth my way." Earth-1975 Wonder Woman deduces, "all right. I'm trusting you."

Wonder Woman awkwardly asks, "Nubia? What are you going to do?"

Earth-1975 Nubia whispers, "I'm going to pretend to capture Wonder Woman of my world after you both try to escape. See if that gets Veronica to let her guard down to let a confession slip."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman says, "I'm already so proud of you."

With a wide smile... Earth-1975 Nubia says, "thank you, my dear. I hope we'll all be walking out of here safe and sound after this."

She turns to Wonder Woman.

Earth-1975 Nubia figures, "Diana... You can spy on Veronica in case something goes wrong."

Wonder Woman nods.

She whispers, "I understand. Good luck, Carolyn and Diana."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman whispers, "I wish the same of both of you."

Both Wonder Women use super strength to tear their way through the chain-link fence.

After a few minutes of fake fighting with Earth-1975 Nubia?

She pretends to tie up Earth-1975 Wonder Woman hands behind her back with her golden lasso.

Wonder Woman quickly gets behind a pile of toy boxes.

Her android lookalike calls out, "stop Wonder Woman! She is getting away!"

Wonder Woman throws some open toy boxes to hold off both androids. Some toys are falling.

One android is about to tackle charge her. The other android is getting a wire lasso ready.

Wonder Woman lightly remarks, "hey robots! This game is closed due to stormy weather."

She throws her tiara into some water guns in the air.

The water guns explode in water bursts into the androids's robotic eyes.

They reactively cover their eyes. They're shrieking on the ground.

Then... Wonder Woman slashes her dark blue spirit energy blade at both androids.

Both androids turn into a pile of circuits, magic mirror fragments, and ketchup like goop.

Wonder Woman sighs with some relief.

She hurries upstairs to check on Earth-1975 Wonder Woman and Earth-1975 Nubia.

Around then, in the toy store...

Earth-1975 Nubia and a tied up Earth-1975 Wonder Woman are by a toy store worktable. Earth-2011 Veronica Cale is standing there.

Earth-1975 Nubia presses, "now that I've proven we're on the same side... What are you and Orlich planning to do next?"

All too lightly... Earth-2011 Veronica Cale reasons, "oh come on. Laugh. I offered him a date in exchange for letting me tinker with his robots. I gave Major Dexter a android lookalike of Wonder Woman to take home. Most men are so easy."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman tries hard not to laugh. Earth-1975 Nubia laughs.

Earth-2011 Veronica Cale divulges, "besides... I don't just want money, Nubia. I wanted to take over this world for the better: With androids on both sides running special operations for me. A world where I can at last be free from the prying eyes of the Etta Candy of my...! !"

She makes a nervous face.

She tries to change the subject, "I mean... Free from her constant nagging at my company Themiscrya International. Security officers just like to do that."

With a cold glare... Earth-1975 Nubia realizes, "any Etta Candy in any world wouldn't be prying without a good reason. You just want a world where you can commit crime free from her security officers at Themiscyra International."

Earth-2011 Veronica Cale frustratedly sighs. She clenches her fists.

With a slight grin... She figures, "so what if I do? Both Wonder Women have been dealt with. And now... My line of Wonder Woman androids will easily finish you, Nubia."

Several Earth-1975 Wonder Woman androids start to charge for both Wonder Women.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman kind of lightly says, "I wouldn't do that, Veronica."

She gets her golden lasso around Earth-2011 Veronica Cale by surprise.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman orders the androids, "shut down, or I'll destroy your creator!"

And... All the androids do as she says.

Earth-2011 Veronica Cale cries out, "no! !"

She tries to punch Earth-1975 Wonder Woman hard.

But... Earth-1975 Nubia punches Earth-2011 Veronica Cale hard.

Earth-2011 Veronica Cale falls unconscious.

Earth-1975 Nubia figures, "I feel much better now. Thank you both for still believing in me."

Both Wonder Women say, "you're welcome."

The three Amazons smile to each other.

Wonder Woman, by then, has Earth-1975 Major Dexter and Orlich tied up in her golden lasso. The unconscious scientists are still in the back of a nearby van.

Wonder Woman says, "well... I say this plan went really well."

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman considers, "yes. We saved three government scientists and my partner Nubia in time. And on top of that? We have more than enough evidence to put Dexter, Orlich, and Veronica away in some nice cells: Courtesy of the I.A.D.C."

Wonder Woman suggests, "true. But... For Veronica? I got a better idea of where to put her."

In Gaianetarium flames... More events unfold with spirit energy flame sparks going off.

Earth-2011 Veronica's line of androids is destroyed in secret by the I.A.D.C. to discourage others on Earth-1975 from trying to recreate them. Earth-1975 Steve Trevor Jr. and others in the I.A.D.C. apologize to the Wonder Women for not believing them earlier.

Wonder Woman brings Earth-2011 Veronica Cale back to Earth-2011.

It turns out Earth-2011 Etta Candy only let Earth-2011 Veronica Cale take over Themiscrya International in exchange for becoming the company's security chief because she didn't trust her much. She is happy to put Earth-2011 Veronica Cale in a cell in Themiscrya International.

Wonder Woman heads back to Earth-0 with help from Harbinger.

Earth-1975 Wonder Woman and Earth-1975 Nubia head back to their island of Themiscrya. They're holding hands as they do.

Earth-2011 Etta Candy becomes the new leader of Earth-2011 and of Themiscrya International. She is relaunching the worldwide company as a more accepting company to help many different kinds of people. Her new name for the company is Healthy Candy International.

Earth-0 Cat Grant is looking in a magic mirror. She is bittersweetly smiling at the worldwide company relaunch on Earth-2011.

She is holding a crumpled up newspaper article in a clenched fist.

And... It's about the day her show The Cat Grant Gossip was abruptly cancelled...in the wake of a certain rampage in her television studio by the goddess Artemis.
