CHAPTER 19

"Bohemian Rhapsody"

Writer's note: Hi guys! The first section (as well as the last) of this chapter I couldn't WAIT to write. In my head it was the perfect song to fit Desperaldo's fucked up mind. It was like dressing a cake with chocolate frosting ;)

I will wish you all, my dear readers, the "best" times with your friends and family for the Holidays that are just around the corner. I know it is still a difficult time for all of us in this "messed" up world, but … if we can continue to create and read wonderful stories, we have filled our imagination and heart with joy.

I will concentrate my time into "some sort" of a writing project during the next two months, and will reprise this story end of January.

In the meantime, be happy … and enjoy this update, guys! ;)

The obvious title of this chapter by: Queen

In the previous chapter …

The limousine came to a halt, a few seconds passing by before the chauffeur would open his driver's door to slowly walk around the car to open the passenger one; a tall masculine figure stepping outside, only to strengthened his designer blazer and pull on the sleeves of his silk shirt.

When Klaus met his gaze, he knew without an ounce of a doubt, who that man was. He knew, because he had studied his brother's file on him and had looked at his picture for hours. The man was none other than Tyler Lockwood… Caroline's alleged boyfriend! But at this mere second, and over the urgency of the present moment: he needed to play the game!

"What are you doing here? You must be lost. This is a private property." He shouted to the intruder, in a dry tone. "Go back to the main route."

"Who I am is not of your concerns, Vampiro. It's your biker name, am I right?" The man shouted back; narrowing his sight on him.

"Who wants to know?" Klaus asked, unwavering.

"It's not important who I am. What is important, is that you're holding two women prisoners in this mansion." The man responded, angrily; pointing toward the large home.

"I don't respond to threats from stranger." The leader replied, chin rose. "How were you able to pass my security gate?"

"Someone brought me here." Tyler responded, an evil smile spreading over his lips.

"I don't' see who that could be? I don't know you." Klaus responded; his fingers grapping his gun for his dear life.

"Me!" The leader heard the feminine voice respond; before seeing the tall brunette step out from the limousine. "Good morning, Klaus."

Klaus's facial expression fell …. His sight narrowing on the female intruder: Hayley Marshall…. Damn her!

El escorpión, aka: Gabriel Desperaldo, walked the length of the parlor room, brushing the bare soles of his feet over the dark brown color of the wood floor. He was dressed of a ripped pair of light blue jeans, placed in a low-waist nonchalant way down on his six pack and opened over his trail of dark hair. His chest was bare of clothes, but dressed of colorful inks in the form of multiple tattoos.

A large smile spread over his face when he so carefully grabbed an old album cover holding inside a vinyl version of Queen' Compilation of songs. He placed the large circle of furrows on the antique record player, gently pushing the tone arm on the platter, to lower the headshell on the black vinyl.

The first notes filled the entire room of a long symphonic intro. He turned on his heels to slowly retrace his walk toward the large leather armchair to finally lower himself into a sitting position. He placed his head on the headrest, before slowly closing his eyelids to enjoy this classic and timeless masterpiece.

He let a grin bless his not-shaved face, before opening slightly his lips to sing the lyrics in high tone notes: "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality."

Both tall entrance doors of the large room created a draft when they opened on a tall, curly dark hair man who let the heels of his boots hit the floor in nuisance acute sounds over the song, making Gabriel wince at the abrupt interruption of his right arm man.

"Desperaldo," Alexandro nodded in respect to his boss; who continued to hum the melody. "Hayley Marshall and Tyler Lockwood reached the mansion of the Skulls' leaders. I think they'll figure out pretty quickly that you're behind it."

The outlaw leader smirked, responding in lyrics: "I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy."

Alexandro sighed loudly, placing both hands on each side of his waist; while rolling his eyes: "With much respect boss; I don't believe we have time for your theatrical singing show."

"What can I say," Gabriel replied, highly amused: "I'm easy come, easy go … Little high, little low. Anyway the wind blow doesn't really matter to me."

"So it doesn't matter to you if the plan of that "whore" Hayley Marshall succeed or not?" Alexandro asked, dryly.

Desperaldo rose a straight finger in the air, over his lips, thinking for a split second: "Hayley… just killed a man, put a gun against Klaus's head; pulled my trigger now he's dead."

"For fuck sake could you just stop singing that song?" Alexandro lashed out, between clenched teeth.

The leader shrugged, unwavering: "Alex…Oooh…Didn't mean to make you cry. If I'm not back again this time tomorrow, carry on, carry one, as if nothing really matters."

"I see that the words coming out of my mouth are only an amusement to you." His right-hand man pointed out, unhappy. "As well as this entire operation that could easily blow out of proportion, and hit us in the face if it fails!"

El escorpión slowly rose from his sitting position; narrowing his sight on his henchman, while raising his chin at him: "Goodbye everybody. I've got to go. Got to leave you all behind, and face the truth."

"And what damn truth is that boss?" Alexandro spat back.

"Alex…Oooh…I don't want to die, sometimes wish I've never been born at all…" Desperaldo sang back, before walking to the record player to push the sound button to its maximum; rushing his steps toward the opened doors to step into the corridor.

"Fuck this!" The tall henchman swore under his teeth; following the outlaw man in the corridor.

A warm and minty breathe brushed El Diablo's cheeks; before a pair of soft lips would caress his own a minute later. A large grin spread over his face, his eyelids slowly opening to glance at the beauty straddling his waist underneath the silk sheet.

"Someone has brushed her teeth in hope of wishing me a good morning." He commented, teasingly.

"Well, I believe it's better to approach the alpha-male with a fresh breath in the morning. Don't you agree?" Katherine questioned, raising one of her eyebrow in a comical way; before kissing his parted lips once more.

"Alpha-male… Really? I'll take that as a compliment of a woman who had an amazing love making night." He commented, smiling; while raising both of his hands up the silk fabric of her panties to reach her waist. "You're dressed already?" He then questioned, narrowing his sight on the gorgeous brunette wearing a black bra.

"If you can call that being dressed?" She winked back, smirking. "I woke up early and took a warm bath to relax my sore muscles." She informed him, shrugging nonchalantly. "Someone must have worked me hard last night."

"Lucky him." Elijah replied, smirking; while pushing a few of her long curly brown hair behind her shoulders.

"Boss!"

They both jumped hard at the loud call; his strong hands pushing Katherine in matter of seconds on her side of the bed, before promptly raising the sheet over her chest.

"For fuck sake Luigi, what's the matter with you?" Elijah yelled back to his man; promptly jumping out of bed (as naked as the day he was born) to grab his pair of boxer left on the rug.

"I'm truly, truly sorry, boss." The poor man presented his humble apologies, blushing bright red the moment he glanced in Katherine' direction; only to see her stretch her right arm to grab her silk dressing gown. "Señorita Katherine, good morning. I'm deeply sorry for the early inconvenience." He nodded, respectfully; while lowering his sight down.

"Good morning Luigi, don't mention it." She responded, rapidly standing up to tighten the belt around her waist. "I do believe that you are aware by now that I'm sleeping with your boss."

"I …. I…." He stammered, nervously, over her comment. "It's not my business." He then added, coughing uncomfortably.

"Well?" Elijah questioned some more; pulling on the fabric of his pair of jeans to raise it up his pelvic.

"You know me I wouldn't have barged inside your personal quarter if it wasn't an emergency." Luigi started his explanation. "Klaus went outside for a ride on his motorcycle, and he is now stuck with Hayley Marshall and an unknown man. They both came as passengers of a limousine. I know that for a fact because I lurked through one of the windows, and I've noticed that their exchange seems intense."

Elijah turned his head to glance at the tall brunette whose chest rose over her rapid intake of air and sudden fear. She nodded discreetly to give the Skulls' boss courage into this new downfall.

He nodded back at her, smiling shyly; before hurrying his steps out of the suite; Luigi and Katherine following close on his heels.

Pippi Longstocking, aka: Caroline Forbes, had felt a strange vibe the mere second she had awaken. The heaviness invading her soul and heart. She had promptly pushed the blanket and sheet at her feet to jump out of the large bed; her right hand rose on her chest, over the rapid beats of her heart. Something terrible had happened to Vampiro she could feel it through the goosebumps invading her entire body.

She had the vague memory of feeling the soft brush of Klaus's lips on her forehead an hour ago, and then rifting back into deep sleep. She rushed her bare feet down on the Persian rug to grab her blue silk dressing gown to rapidly dress her naked body, with her trembling hands knotting the belt around her waist.

A drift of air entered the bedroom suite when she grabbed the handle to slam the door open to rush outside into the corridor, her bare feet feeling the coldness of the corridor marble floor leading her to the majestic staircase.

Klaus was in danger, she could feel it!

When she reached the mansion' ground floor, she ran toward the foyer room to instinctively walk toward the range of high ceiling windows. In one good pull of the drapes heavy fabric she managed to take a look through the lace curtains outside, only to have her complexion whiten over the horrific view.

Vampiro was standing near his Harley Davidson motorcycle, a limousine parked at a few meters of distance from him. Hayley Marshall and…none other than Tyler Lockwood standing both on the left side of the long car.

What the hell? What was Tyler doing here of all places, and why with her of all people?

"Caroline talk to me?" She heard the loud call, before turning her head to stare into the dark glance of El Diablo, who hurried his bare feet at the window beside her own.

"Hay… Hayley Marshall…" She stammered her response through the female name. "She's outside with Klaus."

"Yeah … that much I knew already," Elijah nodded, narrowing his sight on the scenery through the lace curtains. "Luigi informed both Katherine and I of her presence, as well as a man accompanying her."

"Yes. He's no ordinary man though …. He's Tyler Lockwood." She announced, unceremoniously; breathing heavily.

"Please, tell me you're joking, Caroline?" Katherine questioned her best friend, in shock, while hurrying her steps inside the room, jumping joined feet into a small leather sofa placed near the windows; before pushing the drapes. "Why is he here? And most importantly why is he here with her of all people?"

"I wish I was joking." Caroline shook her head, biting into her bottom lip. "I have no idea."

"Who the hell is Tyler Lockwood?" Luigi questioned, dumbfounded.

"He's a lawyer and he used to be my boyfriend, back in New-York." Caroline informed El Diablo's man.

A rictus rose the right side of Elijah's lips when he commented back to her: "Klaus would love to hear the "used to be my boyfriend" mention from your lips, Caroline."

"Not now, Elijah." She begged of him. "I barely can handle my emotions."

"I'm so, so sorry," Luigi expressed his apology; a light shade of red filling his cheeks. "It wasn't my place to ask you that question."

"I was quite surprised to hear you say that question in the first place, to be honest." Elijah grinned; while keeping his sight narrowed on the trio.

"I don't know what got into me." Luigi shook his head, eyes wide opened.

"Relax soldier." His boss replied, teasingly. "I'm just grateful you had sensed the present urgency and warned us."

"Thank you, boss." He nodded, slowly approaching one of the windows.

"Why is Hayley Mashall with him?" Katherine questioned her lover.

"The right question to ask yourself, Katerina, is: who brought them both to my family's doorstep?" El Diablo responded, turning his head to glance at her. "The answer is quite obvious to me: Gabriel Desperaldo."

"Why would that asshole mix Hayley with Tyler?" Katherine asked, dumbfounded. "It doesn't make sense."

"On the contrary, it makes perfect sense." Elijah commented, sighing loudly. "We were too blindsided to think this through. A woman who's hurting, after being "politely" dumped by my brother, will be an easy prey for him."

"He recognized that he could make her a valuable ally after her breakup with Klaus." Caroline added, tears filling her eyes. "He must have sent her to New-York to enrol Tyler in his next move."

"And because Tyler can't say "no" to a pair of long legs and a beautiful ass … Here we are!" Katherine mumbled, between clenched teeth; turning her head to bury her sight in her friend's. "I'm sorry. I … I shouldn't have said that."

"It doesn't matter to me anymore, what he does, or doesn't." Her female friend shrugged, indifferent. "I just want Klaus to be safe."

"It's not Klaus's first Rodeo in a compromising situation, Caroline." Elijah reassured her. "And don't take it the wrong way… but…Tyler Lockwood is no match to my brother." He added, glancing in her direction to address her a smile; before questioning Luigi: "Where is Big Joe?"

"He drove to the Skulls' bar to pick-up Anita." Luigi informed. "Last night, at the BBQ, when you gave the order to leave the premises one of the boy gave her a lift and… Big Joe thought that he could pick her up to bring her back here to pick the unused boxes of alcohol."

"Oh I bet he did!" Elijah shook his head, grinning. "It would have been way easier to bring those boxes back to the bar and her directly, no?"

"Yeah it would had been easier, but that would had granted Big Joe less time in her lovely company." Katherine commented, smirking; before winking at Caroline who lowered her head to smile.

"You got a good point." El Diablo chuckled, directing his attention back to Luigi: "Warned the boys of what is going on. Put them on the lookout for other intrusion on the premises."

"Will do boss." Luigi nodded, before hurrying his steps to leave the room.

"OK granted that I've been away from the home-sweet-home for quite a long time now, so, is this a new kind of set-up for breakfast, being all glued to the windows while eating our fresh croissants?" Kol questioned (bare feet, chest naked, hands buried in the front pockets of his black pair of jeans), while standing under the arch door, with Detective Bonnie Bennett standing close by his side.

"What do we have here: trouble in Skulls' outlaw paradise, El Diablo?" She questioned, perniciously; eyebrows arched, sight narrowed on the Boss, with both of her arms crossed over the deep neckline of her black silk and lace dressing gown.

"Good morning Detective, always a pleasure." El Diablo greeted, politely; turning his head to glance in her direction. "Lovely dressing gown by the way. I see my brother has spoiled you."

She blushed slightly and coughed uncomfortably, tightening the silk belt around her waist: "When you're kidnapped in the middle of an investigation you have no other choice but to accept to wear the clothes that are thrown at you."

"Kidnapped really, darling?" Kol argued, wincing; while reaching the range of windows. "That is such a stretch though. Don't you think?"

"What is going on?" Bonnie questioned the leader, rolling her eyes at Kol while taking a few steps inside the room.

"Come and see for yourself, detective. I believe you'll recognize at least one of the guests chatting outside with my brother." He nodded toward the window where he was standing.

Both Katherine and Caroline nodded themselves to encourage Bonnie to follow his order. She finally walked toward one of the many windows to glance through the lace curtains.

"You got to be kidding me!" The petite woman exclaimed, unhappy. "What is counselor Tyler Lockwood doing in here?" She questioned, dumbfounded. "No offense to you, Mrs. Forbes, but I can't stand your boyfriend."

"Don't worry, none taken. It seems to be the general feeling around here." Caroline shook her head. "And I do not consider that man my boyfriend anymore."

"Well, at least something good would have come from your abduction in Mexico!" Bonnie replied, sighing loudly.

"Fuck it!" Kol swore out loud. "That asshole has been lured in here by Gabriel Desperaldo. That in short, is explaining what he is doing here."

"You guessed it right, brother." Elijah nodded.

"Please tell me you're joking and did not pronounce the name of Tyler Lockwood inside the walls of this mansion?" Rebekah rushed inside the large room (Stefan close by on her heels) to direct her strides near the eldest to glance outside, through the curtains, while raising herself on her tip toes, both hands placed on his shoulders. "What is this jerk doing here? No offense, Caroline."

"For the hundreds of times, none taken!" Caroline sighed, loudly; crossing both arms in front of her chest.

"Now, I'm wondering: would the moon be a good vacation spot to not see that asshole anymore?" Stefan questioned out loud; while placing himself near Kol.

"I don't know if it is a good spot to never see him again?" Kol shrugged. "I heard there are cockroaches on the moon."

"Yap!" Stefan nodded his head. "You're right. It's not a good spot then."

"I …. I can't watch this anymore." Caroline confessed with a shook of her head; before taking a few steps away from the window.

"Caroline?" Katherine questioned her friend's sudden change in attitude. "What are you doing?"

"I need to stop this. I need go outside to talk to Tyler." She nervously added, backing further away to spin on her heels to rush toward the door.

"No, no, no!" The loud hysteric calls of many present, followed her rapid attempt of escape.

El Diablo had rapidly managed to run after her to bring her back inside the room.

"Let go of me Elijah!" Caroline tried to squirm herself away from the firm grip of his hands on her arms.

"Caroline, listen to me, sweetheart." Both hands of the leader cupped her face while he begged her to do as such. "Think for two seconds. All of the people present in this mansion has been seen by Tyler Lockwood, at a moment or another, except me. And, frankly I don't believe it would help my brother if I step outside to talk to the man."

"I'm afraid, Elijah." Caroline shared in a low tearful whisper. "I don't want your family, you nor Klaus to pay for Desperaldo' vengeance."

"I know." He nodded to her, before blessing her forehead of a kiss.

"I have to agree that you're right though. Counselor Lockwood have known and seen most of us, except for you." Bonnie nodded; slowly approaching the group that have regrouped near the duo. "But, I am still the one representing the N.Y.P.D. and maybe if I step outside I could pretext that I'm here under an opened investigation of two missing women and play my role while being astonished to notice his presence."

Elijah turned his attention toward the female detective, slowly releasing his grip on Caroline: "Did you just openly say that I was right, Detective Bennett?" He teased, grinning.

"Don't let it go to your head, El Diablo." She rolled her eyes.

"I'll try not to." Elijah replied, amused. "And I have to say that the idea is not the stupidest that I've heard, but…"

"But?" She questioned, arching her eyebrows.

"Do you plan to step outside in a silk nightgown or perhaps, you would prefer one of the sexy dresses my brother had courteously offered to you?" He questioned, teasingly.

"Shit!" She mumbled underneath her clenched teeth; glancing angrily at Kol from the corners of her eyes.

"What? How was I supposed to know that this asshole would end up here?" Kol battled his point.

"I wouldn't be able to help in the wardrobe issue, with the skinny leather pants and deep neckline sweaters." Katherine shrugged, apologetically.

"How lovely! He dressed you to his liking." Bonnie commented, wincing.

"I'm not complaining too much." Katherine responded, smiling shyly at Elijah who winked back at her.

"Wait, wait … I think I still have a cropped two pieces suits in the upstairs wardrobe." Rebekah informed, excitedly.

"Cropped?" Elijah stared blankly.

"Don't look at me I couldn't saw a trouser brim to save my life!" Stefan pointed out, eyes widely opened; while grabbing an apple in a nearby bowl to bite full teeth into it.

"Well, Detective Bennett and I we are not exactly the same height, Elijah!" His sister replied, as a matter of fact, with an opened arms gesture.

"It could work…" Bonnie bit her bottom lip; while rethinking the idea. "But I wouldn't have come here without my gun, nor my badge or backup."

"Oh don't worry about guns, there are plenty here." Rebekah pointed out, with a dismissive hand.

"Really sister?" El Diablo scolded her openly; pinching the bridge of his nose.

"It's so interesting to learn that you have plenty of guns in your mansion. Care to explain?" Bonnie crossed both arms in front of her deep neckline.

"Don't get your panties in a twist, Detective. They are all with permits." He winked back at her. "This idea could "perhaps", in one chance on a million work, but you wouldn't have come alone into an outlaw territory."

"Damn it, you're right!" Bonnie swore under her breath.

"I'm right two times in a row? Well, thank you." He replied, teasingly.

"¡Caminar! Ve a explicarte a El Diablo!" Lucinda made her morning entrance by pulling a young man by the arm.

Elijah sighed loudly, closing his eyes: "For fuck sake we have a crisis on our hands now, Lucinda. What do you want?"

"There is always a crisis on your hands, El Diablo!" She rolled her eyes at him. "Hablar!" She pushed the young man in front of the leader, forcing him to talk. "Explain yourself to the boss!"

"Who is this young man?" Elijah asked, against his good sense to not be mixed in her last shenanigan.

"I found this bastardo in one of the private room of one of our maids." The petite Spanish woman explained chin rose.

El Diablo turned his attention back to the youngest of the Mikaelsons, a smirk spreading on his full lips: "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Yap!" Kol repied, winking at the eldest. "He seems like the same height and build that I am. And I believe that I still have a few suits upstairs."

"Good!" Elijah nodded; taking a few steps to reach the young man that was sweating like a pork at the Slaughterhouse.

"Do you care to share with the rest of us what is the latest outlaw plan in your head?" Bonnie questioned, crossing both arms in front of her deep neckline.

"Elijah … What is going on?" Katherine begged of him, scattering her sight on the girls present.

"You'll know soon enough, Katerina." He informed the tall brunette, grabbing a hand fool of the young man's t-shirt to pull his body toward him. "You've trespassed my private property. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"Mi…Mister Mikaslson … I mean, El Diablo, por favor… This is a big misunderstanding," The young man stammered, nervously. "Rosita and I …Estamos enamorados… We are in love and…"

"What's your name?" El Diablo questioned, unwavering; under the close watch of Lucinda.

"Soy Pedro Lopez." The tall young man replied, nervously.

"Pedro …Stop talking and listen!" Elijah narrowed his sight while ordering the young Spanish man. "To repay me for your transgression, you'll grant me a favor."

"Sí… Sí…Whatever you want, El Diablo." The young man shook his head, repeatedly.

"Bekah?" He then called his sister, gently releasing his grip on the young man.

"Yes?" She shrugged to all, dumbfounded.

"Bring detective Bennett to your bedroom suite and make her try one of your cropped two pieces suits." He ordered her, nodding; pushing the young man into the corridor leading to the upstairs suites. "It's time to save our brother from this hell!"

"OK" She agreed, nodding back. "Detective? Do you care to follow me?" She pointed toward the corridor, smirking.

"Do I have a choice?" Bonnie questioned with an arched eyebrow.

"No, I don't believe you do." Rebekah replied, as matter of facts.

"El Diablo …Dios! Can you tell me what crisis we are fighting today?" Lucinda followed everybody steps into the corridor. "Do you want me to beg?"

"Would you beg me, Lucinda?" He teased, turning his head to wink at the head-maid.

"Claro queno!" She rolled her eyes back at him.

"Then don't ask." He replied, unwavering, climbing the stairs.

Caroline reached the petite Spanish woman standing position to address the subject at hands: "Klaus is stock outside with Hayley Marshall who brought my ex-boyfriend from New-York with her." She started explaining. "This setup obviously has Desperaldo' stamp writing all over it." She added, nervously rubbing her hands together. "I think Elijah has come up with a plan that is involving Detective Bennet."

"En el nombre del padre, del Hijo y del espíritu santo!" The head mead recited, with a cross sign. "May Gabriel Desperaldo rot… en el infierno!"

"From your Spanish lips to God' ears, Lucinda." Katherine agreed to her say.

Vampiro kept his stare on the tall brunette who grinned back at him.

"The cat got your tongue, Klaus?" Hayley asked, perniciously; while taking a few steps forward.

"Hayley" He nodded as a greeting, his right hand still grabbing his gun. "What are you doing on my property with this stranger?"

"You see," She responded, crossing both arms in front of the deep neckline of her short blue dress. "I've asked your guards to open the front gate. I told them that my father was sending an important message to the Skulls' organization. Of course, they knew who I was so I did not encounter any problems."

"In other words: you lied!" Klaus commented, toneless.

"Well… Aren't you lying yourself about those two poor women that you have abducted?" She replied, faking an honest concern; her right palm placed over her heart. "Even if we used to be close and you do have allegiances with my father' organization, I couldn't accept your horrific actions anymore. I needed to tell the truth to this poor man."

Vampiro sighed, shaking his head: "And what actions did you take, Hayley?"

"I met counselor Lockwood in New-York. He's devastated and concerned by his fiancée' disappearance a few weeks ago. She was vacationing in Mexico when she and her female friend disappeared. There is an open investigation, I was there to tell the truth to the assigned detective when I met Mr. Lockwood." She lied through her teeth. "It was a lucky coincidence that I've bumped into him. We then both realized that we were present at the precinct for the same case of Caroline Forbes and Katherine Pierce."

"Oh I bet it was the luckiest coincidence known to mankind!" Klaus commented, grinning; pointing a finger to his right ear. "Still, I don't know why you're telling me this sad story?"

"Klaus … Please stop this stupid charade." She begged of him, faked tears filling her eyes. "I saw with my two eyes the two abducted women inside those walls. Both you and your brother have chained them to a wall to serve your sexual vices." She threw the lie to his face. "Your bikers' organisation is on the verge of implanting an online site with the services of sexual slaves."

"I don't have a single idea what you're talking about. And I believe you have the wrong address, maybe you should redirect your new friend to Desperaldo's mansion. I heard he's an expert in slaving." He told; enjoying seeing her body tense over his last words. "This is my family' home, I leave here with my eldest brother. There aren't any abducted woman living with us inside those walls." Klaus shrugged, nonchalantly. "By coming here and insulting me, my brother, and my organization; you're creating major problems for yourself, Hayley. If you leave at once, I'll let it pass this time because of my respect for your father."

"Not before you release Caroline Forbes and Katherine Pierce, from your dirty outlaw hands!" Tyler spat back, hurrying his steps to reach Klaus; before being retained by Hayley, with a firm grip on his left upper arm.

"Counselor Lockwood, please regain your calm." Hayley begged the man to do. "You need to think of your safety first. We can't escalate this exchange to a more lethal one."

Klaus pushed back his gun inside his leather belt, releasing his right hand, both eyes rolling at the blue sky … Bitch! She knew how to play this game that one.

"How can I be calm when I know that this wannabe biker boss is holding my fiancée and her female friend captive inside those walls?" Tyler questioned the brunette, breathing heavily. "I'm not afraid of him. And frankly I could easily hit him in the face!" He threatened, narrowing his sight on what he proclaimed being his enemy. "But it would be way more enjoyable to prosecute him for life in front of a jury."

Klaus growled in anger; his hands closing tightly. That clown was getting on his last nerves! How could have Caroline share the bed of this man was a mystery to him?

"There aren't any captive women in my family home. You're in a private property, therefore I will ask you to leave one last time, whomever you are. Or I won't be responsible for my action." Klaus warned his unwanted visitor.

"Maybe we should go see the police and come back with a warrant?" Hayley suggested, burying her sight in Tyler.

"We don't have time to wait for a fucking warrant if Caroline and Katherine are in danger inside this mansion." Tyler replied, under clenched teeth.

Klaus rose his sight passed them, watching the van from the bar slowly approaching their standing positions, with Big Joe at the steering wheel. The van slowly came to a stop, before both the driver and passenger' doors would open on his henchman and Anita.

"What's going on Boss?" Big Joe asked, chin rose, his entire body in alert mode.

"Who's that clown…You're enforcer?" Tyler asked, slyly.

"I'm his secretary … Who are you?" Big Joe questioned, himself; perfectly sensing the answer.

Tyler rapidly walked passed the henchman, pointing a finger at Anita: "You! You're working here?"

"No… I manage Mr. Mikaelson and his brother's bar." Anita promptly replied, calmly; inserting both hands in the back pockets of her jeans. "I don't know you, Mister?"

"Counsellor Lockwood." Tyler replied, menacing. "Tell me if they are holding two women captive in this mansion?"

"Not that I know of," Anita replied, toneless; shaking her head. "This is their family home. Mrs. Marshall used to date Mr. Mikaelson."

"She's lying through her teeth." Hayley spat back, angrily. "She knows they are inside."

"I'm done with the lies!" Tyler Lockwood lashed out, sliding his right hand underneath his designer blazer to pull up a gun, before pointing it straight at Klaus.

The leader had forecast the man' action by raising his own gun a fraction of seconds before him.

Both men stood, at a few meters of distance, their guns pointed at each other, their sight locked.

"Drop the gun, Counselor Lockwood!" They finally heard the loud feminine voice; before slowly turning their head at Detective Bonnie Bennett that stood down the concrete stairs of the mansion, her own gun in her hands.

"Detective Bennett?" Tyler stood surprised; calling the petite brunette by her law appellation. "What … What are you doing here?"

"Drop the gun counselor." She warned him for the second time, with the young Spanish man portraying his lawful partner pointing his own.

"What will you do if I don't?" He shrugged, unwavering of her order. "This is not your jurisdiction."

"I don't know what she'll do," Big Joe exclaimed. "But I have my gun pointed at your back, and I certainly know what I'll do."

"I could still hit your boss; therefore I doubt you'll act irrationally." Tyler replied to the henchman.

"Perhaps he won't shoot," Klaus shrugged. "But nothing is stopping me from blowing your brain into pieces before dying myself."

"You're right!" Bonnie shouted. "This is not my jurisdiction. But, Detective Lopez and I are here with a warrant related to the investigation of both Caroline Forbes and Katherine Pierce. It is way more than what you are able to say for yourself, counselor."

Tyler growled, his jaw line tensing under the truth of her words: "Did you search the entire mansion?"

"Yes." Bonnie replied, lying through her teeth.

"What did you find?" He questioned, more in depth.

"Loads of weapons that are in serious need to be verify legally with conform permits." She replied, chin rose. "But there are no abducted women inside."

"What about him pointing a loaded gun to my head?" Tyler accused, perniciously.

"You have trespassed a private property," Bonnie replied, toneless. "If the gun he is holding has a permit; it is his right to protect himself and his home." She added. "You already know all these basics, counselor."

Tyler closed his eyes, swearing under his breath, slowly lowering his gun down.

"Now I suggest you leave," Bonnie gave him the advice, lowering her own gun down; while nodding at Klaus to do the same.

"This is far from being over." Tyler pointed a straight finger at Klaus, retracing his steps to enter the limousine a few second later, Hayley Marshall on his heels.

The luxurious car slowly drove away from the group; before taking the road to the entrance gate.

"What the actual fuck is that clown doing in here with Hayley Marshall?" Big Joe questioned, dumbfounded.

"It has Desperaldo written in blood all over it." Klaus replied, to his henchman; glancing at Anita: "Thank you for your help, sweetheart."

"You're welcome." Anita nodded, smiling shyly. "I'm glad everybody is OK."

Klaus sighed loudly, sliding his gun in his leather belt: "You gave us quite a show, Detective Bennett."

"Count yourself lucky that I just saved your ass!" Bonnie replied, turning on her heels to climb back the concrete stairs; before addressing the young Spanish man. "You know you could easily made a career out of this experience."

"You think so, señorita?" Pedro opened his eyes widely, surprised by her say.

"Nothing is impossible at this point of the game." She sighed loudly; before reaching the front porch of the mansion.

"I don't know who you are," Klaus addressed the young man while climbing the stairs himself. "But… thank you."

"Don't mention it, señor Mikaelson." Pedro replied, rubbing his hands nervously. "For what it is worth, it's me who are in your debt."

"Well, if you are…Consider yourself out of it." Klaus informed him, winking; before giving the order: "Big Joe, fill the van of the remaining bottles of alcohol for the bar and bring this young man home."

"Will do, Boss!" The henchman nodded, glancing at Anita from the corner of his eyes.

"You acted promptly and you were very courageous, Joseph." She complimented him, smiling; while opening the back doors of the said van.

"Nah, it's my job, sweetheart. You were the courageous one, Anita." Big Joe replied, blushing slightly.

Detective Bennett opened the front door to enter the mansion' entrance only to find the small group of recognizable faces looking straight at her.

El Diablo took a few steps in front of his comrades, a smirk raising on his full lips: "Welcome to the Skulls family, Detective."

"Oh no, no, no!" She waved a finger at him. "Don't even go there or believe that "this", what has just happened, means that I'm on your side, El Diablo."

"Right." He nodded, turning his head to wink at Kol (who smiled back at him).

"That goes for you too!" Detective Bennett pointed out, in a lower voice, reaching Kol's standing position.

"Would I have it any other way?" He tilted his head, teasingly; arms crossed over his bulged chest. "It is way more fun to play this cat and mouse game with you, Bonnie."

"Be careful Kol," She warned him, in a low whisper. "One day this game will come to an end and you could easily find yourself behind bars for many, many years to come."

"If it's you who will cuff me and brought me to my cell; it's truly music to my ears." He replied, winking back at her; while she rolled her eyes.

Klaus walked over the threshold, smirking and teasing: "Wow! This is truly a welcome committee. Good morning to all!"

Lucinda narrowed her sight on the tall man, marching like a soldier straight to reach him; only to slap the back of his head.

"What the fuck is this for, Lucinda?" Klaus scolded the petite Spanish woman; mouth opened.

"Dios! Don't you scare me this way, ever again, Vampiro!" She warned him, a straight finger pointed underneath his nose.

"Duly noted. I'll try to not scare you this way EVER again, Lucinda." He promised, winking back at her; before raising his head and sight to notice Caroline who was standing a few steps behind everybody else.

He slowly reached her standing position, raising both hands to slide them around her waist and down on her back to raise her shaking body in his arms; her legs wrapping around his waist: "I got you." He whispered, softly; marching down the corridor to leave the group.

"Well, this was fun!" Stefan commented, smirking. "Anyone is hungry like I am?"

"You're a hombre alto y guapo!" The head maid commented, smiling. "At tall handsome man like you needs to eat. I'll make you a tortilla!" She added, caressing his left cheek; before walking toward the kitchen.

"Eww… It's disgusting to me how much she has fallen for you!" Rebekah commented, wincing; taking a few walking steps back into the parlor.

"Well, at least she can recognize that I have a certain appetite for fine things." He winked back at the tall blonde while making her blush slightly.

Katherine slowly reach El Diablo's standing position to slide her arms around his waist, leaning her head on his shoulder. He encircled her waist of his right arm to bring her in a closer embrace.

"Real trouble will soon start, right?" She questioned him, her voice breaking under the turmoil of her strong emotion.

"It has already started, Katerina." He replied, his full lips brushing her forehead. "I'm here… We'll get through this, I promise you."

Klaus knocked the door opened, hitting the sole of his biker' boots on the panel; carrying his Pippi in his arms. He walked a few extra steps to reach a console table, lowering his load down into a sitting position; before gently cupping her face with both hands to bless her forehead of a kiss: "Shush … Stop crying!"

"I was … I was so scared for you." She shared her feelings through her sobbing.

"I'm fine, I'm good, Pippi … You can't get rid of me so easily." He tried to calm her down, smiling. "Don't you know that by now?"

"It's not funny, Klaus." She scolded him, hitting his left upper arm of her closed fist.

"But, it was meant to be, love." He winked back at her.

"I knew in my heart, the moment that I woke up, that you were in danger." She told him. "I wanted to walk outside to tell that bitch Hayley and Tyler to leave you alone, but … Elijah forbade me to do that!"

"That wouldn't have served any purpose." He shook his head, striking the tip of her nose in a playful way. "My brother was right to keep you inside."

"I always thought I was the "one" that would always be in danger, because of Desperaldo. And though, I perfectly know that your life as one of the Skulls' leaders is like standing on the verge of a precipice, having to witness you being in such danger has making me sick to my stomach!" She confessed, sliding both of her hands on his cheeks; before softly kissing his lips.

"Mm…" Klaus closed his eyes, moaning. "If this is the way you are welcoming me back; I should be in danger more oftentimes."

"Don't you dare?" She warned him; sniffling her tears away.

"Tell me something, Caroline." He asked, grinning; both hands placed on the table, on each side of her body.

"What?" She rolled her eyes at him, wiping the remaining of her tears with the back of her right hand.

"I have to be way better in bed than that wannabee clown, right?" He shrugged, nodding comically.

"Oh! Seriously?" She exclaimed, mouth opened, placing both of her hands on his bulged chest to push him at a distance; before jumping off the table. "I won't dignify this with an answer…" She replied, taking walking steps to reach the corridor. "…Even if you are better!"

"I heard that!" He shouted back to her, chuckling.

The outlaw man hurried his long strides on the length of the long corridor, following the beat of the music, while whistling the melody that resonated inside the old walls of the mansion, before reprising his loud singing.

"I'm just a poor boy, nobody love me…."

He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

(The loud speaker answering him back)

"Desperaldo!" Alexandro shouted the name of his boss, hurrying his steps behind him. "Can't you just listen to me?"

"Easy come, easy go, will you let me go Alexandro?" Gabriel sang back, turning on himself to smirk and shrug at his right-arm man, while reprising his rapid steps.

"No, I will not let you go!" The man spat back, rolling his eyes to the ceiling. "Fuck this! Now, I'm singing this stupid song."

"Bismillah!" Desperaldo made a comical reverence, chuckling at his henchman' turmoil,

The tattooed man came to an abrupt halt in front of two French doors that were leading to a terrace. He pushed them open, the sole of his bare feet brushing the morning dew. He closed his eyes, raising his head to the blue sky to inhale deep breaths inside his lungs.

Alexandro halted his own steps over the threshold, hands firmly placed on each side of his waist. He opened his mouth in shock, his sight narrowing on his boss, when he noticed that he was pulling a small knife from the front pocket of his jeans to inflict himself deep cuts on the inside of his arms and on his tattooed chest.

"Desperaldo …What … What are you doing for fuck sake?" He asked, dumbfounded.

As a response, the lyrics came rolling down Gabriel's tongue, his hands spreading the running blood all over his chest: "Oh, mamma mia, mamma mia, mamma mia, let me go. Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me."

"You're losing blood profusely… Stop this!" He begged the man.

"So SHE thinks she can stone me and spit in my eyes? So SHE think she can love me and leave me to die? Oh baby, can't do this to me, baby…." He threw the lyrics back to his henchman, swirling on himself to face him; before adding: "Rebekah…. This! All of "this"…. It's all her fault!"

"With all due respect, it's been ages since you've mentioned her." Alexandro commented, taking a few steps on the outside porch.

Gabriel Desperaldo shook his head, tears filling his eyes. He dragged his feet to reach a lounge chair, dropping into a sitting position to bury his head in his hands… whispering the last lyrics:

"Nothing really matters, anyone can see, nothing really matters…" "Nothing really matters to me….."

"Any way the wind blows."
