Started playing Blue Archive lately.
I like it. Lots of cute and funny girls, and frankly speaking the relationship stories aren't enough to satisfy my romantic desires. So I have turned to fanfiction.
Enjoy!
Troublemakers.
She hated them.
Needlessly disrupting the peace, causing scenes in stores and plazas, robbing places just for the hell of it. She despised them with a passion.
When she had heard that Schale, the secret organization formed by the General Student Council President, was recruiting; she figured she should give it a look. They sounded perfect for her vigilante desires.
When she first arrived she was almost immediately put on a mission, being paired up with students from Trinity and Millennium. She wasn't too keen on working with the Trinity girl, Suzumi was her name; but she was told that in Schale they were all team members. So she set aside her natural rivalry.
She quickly became one of Schale's top students, being deployed almost always to deal with the highest threats. Dealing with troublemakers quickly became her profession.
But who knew that the biggest troublemaker would be Schale's Sensei.
A pervert in its purest form. This man, despite his respectable commands in battle and advice to his students, was an outright pervert through and through.
She couldn't bring herself to completely hate him however, when he wasn't being an obnoxious creep he was a well put together guy who was easy to hold a conversation with. She could see that he was also able to hold conversations with other students perfectly well, so why was it he only acted that way around her? It ticked her off to no end.
But...Like always she could never bring herself to hate him, despite her always claiming that she did.
It was another successful mission. Raiding one of Kaiser PMC's compounds, fighting against an organized force aside from a group of delinquents was a bit of a challenge for her at first, but she adapted like she always did.
Once the area was clear and secured, her and the rest of her team relaxed, Sensei approaching them, tapping away on that tablet on his before slipping it into his coat. He smiled at her in particular. She ignored it, approaching him to give her report.
"Sensei, we've secured the area. Seems like Kaiser pulled out." He nodded. "Good job, Iori. Excellent work on taking down those automatas by the way."
Iori twiddled with the end of her long, eye-covering bang with her fingers, resting her rifle on her shoulder. "That was nothing. It'll take more then a couple of bots to faze a member of the Gehenna Prefect Team."
Sensei smiled again, before his expression suddenly went stern as he looked behind her, he noticed a flash on a rooftop.
He grabbed Iori by the shoulders, whirling her around, putting himself between her and the rooftop.
"H-Hey! What are you-!" before Iori could call him a pervert or something along those lines, a loud shot rang out and Sensei collapsed onto the ground next to her.
She couldn't process what happened at first, simply responding to the danger by raising her rifle and shooting at where the shot came from. A cry of pain confirmed her shot connected with its target.
She turned to look at the ground beside her, where Sensei's body lay, bleeding out on the sand. The Trinity medic, Serina was her name, came rushing over almost immediately; opening up her medical box and begin assessing Sensei's wounds.
Iori still couldn't quite process what had happened. One moment Sensei was standing in front of her, smiling. Now he was on the ground, bleeding out from a large hole in his chest.
Another one of her teammates walked over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Yuuka was her name.
"I-Iori?"
She jumped, whipping around to look at her teammate. "W-What?"
"Are you okay?" She asked, Iori nodded hesitantly. "L-Lets return to Schale and get you washed up...Don't worry, Serina will take care of Sensei."
Washed up? What did she mean. Aside from a bit of sand and dirt she should be fine.
Or so she thought...But as she looked down at her appearance, she realized what her teammate was talking about.
There was blood, everywhere. Her white shirt was covered in it, even her gray hair was stained a deep, crimson red. She held on of her twintails in her hand, looking at it. But where did the blood come from? She wasn't in any pain.
Her eyes drifted over to the only other source of blood.
"Sen...Sensei?"
Realization set in, the reality of what really just happened in such a short amount of time sank into her heart.
She dropped her gun, practically diving to the ground as she kneeled next to Sensei's body.
"Sensei?! Sensei! Are you okay?!" She turned to the Remedial Knight working on him. "Will he be okay!?"
The pink-haired girl glanced at her, a look of uncertainty in her gaze, before turning it back to their teacher's body.
Yuuka came up behind Iori. "We should give Serina some space, don't worry. She can take care of him."
Iori wasn't familiar with this feeling, this feeling of fear. Her gut twisted in ways that were so foreign to her she wanted to vomit right then and there, her breathing quickened, gasping for air that was so plentiful but for some reason seemed to be in such short supply.
She could only sit on the ground, and watch as Serina worked on Sensei's body. Replacing bloodied bandages with clean ones and injecting him with some different concoctions of drugs and painkillers.
Sensei wasn't going to die was he? He couldn't, Serina wasn't going to let that happen, right?
Was it her fault that Sensei was like this? She could've sworn she secured the area, it should have been secured!
So why...Why did this have to happen...
Why did she fail Sensei?
Schale's famous Sensei awoke to the sound of a heartbeat monitor's rhythmic beating. He sat up, immediately clutching his chest as a pain shot through it. He groaned, hearing footsteps approaching his bedside.
"Sensei! You're awake!" The teacher looked up to see who was speaking, seeing Serina. He smiled, he could always count on her to help those in need.
"Is Iori okay?" He asked, Serina was surprised at first by this question but giggled to herself. "Oh Sensei...You're the one who took the bullet you know, yet you're concerned about your students?" She backed away from his bed, grabbing a basket full of various types of vials and syringes. "She's fine, you should try to rest now. A wound like that won't heal so easily."
Serina gave him one beaming smile before walking out of the room and into the quiet hallway. Sensei looked towards the window of his hospital room, the orange rays of sun shining through the partly opened blinds indicated that it was early evening, and the sun was beginning to set on Kivotos. He laid back down on his bed, going to close his eyes when he saw something move out of the corner of his gaze.
He looked towards the opened door, seeing something thin and black swaying back and forth from the side of the doorframe. He smiled as he noticed the pointed tip. He sat back up carefully, turning towards the door.
"Iori. You can come in."
The tail froze, remaining still for a few seconds before the Prefect Team member stepped into the room, clutching her arm and avoiding eye contact with her Sensei.
He looked her over, seeing not a scratch on her. her gray hair was bright and beautiful, and her tanned skin was without any visible wound or imperfection; and her legs of course were always flawless.
"I'm glad to see you're okay, Iori."
She blushed a deeper shade of red as he said that, turning her head away from him even more than she already had.
"...iot."
Sensei tilted his head. "Sorry, I didn't hear you-"
"Idiot!" Iori suddenly lashed out, now fully facing him and balling her fist, her face flushed with anger as she grit her teeth and furrowed her brows.
"What the hell were you thinking!? You could've gotten yourself killed!" She took a step forward, her boot loudly clacking against the vinyl flooring.
"I-I was just trying to protect you!" Sensei defended, but this only seemed to stoke Iori's flame of anger even more.
"Protect me!? We're bulletproof you moron!"
"I-I...I'm sorry Iori, sometimes I forget that." But again, this did nothing. Iori taking more stomps towards her, clenching her jaw.
"Sorry!? Look at yourself! Look at what happened to you! You should've seen the giant hole in your chest, the blood you lost..." Her gaze softened, and she averted her eyes from him for just a moment, but anger quickly overtook them again and she was back to glaring at him. "And you're just sorry!? Think twice before you act you dumbass!"
Sensei kept his mouth shut, he didn't want to push her any further. But even that didn't do anything to waiver her frustration. By now she was by his bedside, teeming with such intense anger it was like a blazing inferno next to him. Her teeth were grit tight that he was afraid she'd might chip a tooth.
But as he looked back up to her eyes, he saw that they were no longer filled with annoyance or anger...But instead were filled with tears. Iori was crying, tears sliding down her cheeks as her lips trembled. Up close, he could see that she was doing everything she could to hold herself together, hiding behind her stubborn and cold personality, hiding her weakness; her worry and concern.
"Iori..."
She bowed her head, hiding her expression, clutching his bed sheets.
"You're such an idiot Sensei...So many people depend on you...I depend on you..." She drew in a sharp breath, her body shaking slightly as her sobs began to take over. "So don't throw it all away so recklessly...I wouldn't know what to do...Now that I've met you..." She completely broke down now, Iori placing her face into his bed, hiding as the tears began to fall
Sensei remained quiet as Iori fell into sobs. Her body shaking as a whimper broke through her quivering lips. He raised his arm, hovering his hand over her head hesitantly. Before placing it down, she jumped slightly, but visibly calmed down after the gesture.
"You pervert...What do you think you're doing?" Iori managed to say between sobs, trying to sound intimidating. Despite that statement however, she made no effort to move his hand.
After a few moments, Iori lifted her head, sniffling. Her uncovered eye was red and swollen from crying; but despite that she was her usual composed self. She took a deep breath before exhaling. She looked at Sensei and smiled. "Thank goodness you're okay, Sensei." Just as soon however her stern expression appeared. "But please, don't do something like that ever again, Sensei."
The man smiled and nodded. "I'll certainly try my best, Iori."
The twintailed girl smiled, her thin tail swaying back and forth behind her. She turned and left the room, walking out into the hallway and leaning against the wall; letting out a sigh of relief.
Honestly, Sensei was such a troublemaker.
"Damn it...I didn't mean to hit Schale's Sensei! The hell was that idiot thinking anyway!?"
The gunner finished wrapping the bandage around his shoulder. Throwing on his uniform and grabbing his gun, racking the charging handle.
"I gotta get out of this city before Schale sends their agents after me..." He poked his head out the door, looking around. "But if I don't take out that Prefect member I'll be in even more trouble..."
Before the sniper could decide his next move, he heard footsteps slowly approaching from behind him.
"I won't forgive you..."
He jumped, whipping his head around. His eyes widened as he saw who stepped into the dim, hanging light.
A girl in a short purple, military uniform was staring at him with wide, crazed eyes.
"I won't forgive you..." The girl raised her shotgun, cocking it.
"FOR HURTING SENSEI!"
The Prefect team didn't know it, but that night would rid them of one of their many troubles.
This was fun to write, I think I'm kind of getting into the swing of things? Certainly felt good to start writing again.
Expect more chapters of more girls in the future, there's so many waifus to choose from.
Until next time.
