Standard Disclaimer: I own nothing in regards to Harry Potter or Lucifer. All properties therein are those of their creators. I am only a writer working on my skills with characters and worlds that I love.

Note: Probably gonna be skipping over the plots of a few episodes here. Apologies if some of you like those particular episodes, but they aren't really needed in my story at this point. Especially considering Linda already knows the truth and is making good progress with the Hell Crowd.

Chapter Five - A New Assignment and Ella Arrives

Harry woke up the next morning in an extremely good mood. Why might you ask? Because after his performance with the fiddle his girls had dragged him back to his loft and given him one of the best nights of his life. Maze was inventive and energetic as always, but Linda…. was insanely flexible.

The wizard sighed, opened his eyes, and his good mood drained away as he looked up into the mirth filled gaze of his boss. "Had a good time there, Harry?" he asked before letting out a low whistle at the sight of Maze and Linda curled into his sides.

"Yes, as a matter of fact. Is there a particular reason you've invaded my home so early in the morning?"

"It's almost noon."

"You know what I mean."

"Indeed I do. I have a new job for you."

Harry raised a brow, "And it can't wait until a more decent time of day?"

"Nope." Lucifer wiggled his eyebrows, "As much as I would love to let you and your paramours get into round two-"

"Round four." Harry interrupted, earning a respectful nod from the Devil.

"Nicely done. Regardless, this is rather time sensitive."

The wizard sighed and slowly propped himself up on his pillows so as not to wake his resting girlfriends. "Well as your assistant I'm at your disposal. What's the issue?"

Lucifer grinned at the young-looking man and handed him a stack of tarot cards. "A group of demons fled the nest so to speak and made their way up here. They are unsupervised, searching no doubt for bodies to inhabit, and if left alone will cause a shit-load of chaos. Amenadiel is already breathing down my neck so I don't need these fools giving him fuel for any more arguments."

"You want me to go after them?"

"Well what better task for my hellhound than hunting down some bones?"

The former boy who lived grinned wolfishly and emerald fire seemed to start dancing in his eyes. "Those cards keyed to them?"

"Yes. They'll lead you right to the bodies they're inhabiting. Kill the flesh and they'll fall right back down to Hell where they belong."

"So no limits?" Harry clarified.

"Well obviously try not to end them in the middle of a crowded street, but otherwise go crazy."

The fire suddenly dimmed and Harry gazed mournfully down at his cutely snoring women, "Do I really need to leave right now? These two are comfy."

Lucifer smirked with commiseration. "I feel for you, man, but yeah. The sooner the better."

Fine. Get on out of here and do whatever it is the devil does in the morning. I need to get dressed and then I'll hop on the bike."

"This devil helps out a lovely detective." Lucifer chuckled as he made his way out. "I'll have my phone on me. Call if you run into any problems or just need more resources. I imagine this will take a while."

"Twenty cards worth of demons… so yeah probably."

Keeping to his word, Harry quickly dressed, woke up and kissed his girlfriends goodbye, and loaded up his motorcycle before screaming tires took off onto the street. The devil's hound was on the hunt.

Later That Night

Hermione Granger was feeling very… underdressed. Rather, she was overdressed. The first thing she'd done after that nice driver Amenadiel (she'd asked if he was named after the angel and he'd just laughed with a strange look in his eyes) had dropped her off at the hotel was take a several hour power nap to get rid of the jet lag, and then she'd put on her nicest shirt and jeans to get into Lux. If Harry was able to perform there then someone inside had to know him.

The problem she was running into was that her 'best' clothes for the night were apparently 'too many' clothes for the night. Indeed almost every other woman ahead of her in line to get in was wearing dresses so short half of their asses were nearly hanging out. Was this really the fashion in LA?

Apparently so, because when it was finally her turn at the front of the line the bouncer looked her up and down before grunting out a "get lost" and moving to let the girl behind her inside.

"Please," Hermione begged the man, hoping against hope for a miracle here, "I need to get in there. It's a matter of life and death."

The man only shrugged, "It's the same for everyone else, and they actually meet the aesthetic of the club. Now move, you're holding up the line."

Hermione did so, devastation rising on her face. As she rounded the edge of the building to the alley behind it, she began to finger the handle of the wand in the expanded depths of her pockets. She really, really, didn't want to break into this club, but she would if she had to. She was just starting to make her way to the lamp-lit back door for a quick alohomora when a surprisingly friendly hand placed on her shoulder stopped her, and she turned to behold a perky looking woman with dark hair around her own height. She was dressed to the nines in a slinky black strapless dress and high heeled pumps.

"Hey, yikes, sorry to startle you, but I saw the way that bouncer just treated you and I wanted to just say that was 'messed up.' I mean he offered to let me in after you and I just couldn't do it."

"A… thanks?" Hermione really didn't know what to do here.

"I mean I wasn't gonna just go in when someone as hot as you wasn't allowed. I'm Ella by the way."

Hermione blushed at the sudden praise. "H-Hermione. And I'm not… hot. I guess I should have bought some new clothes before trying to come to somewhere as nice as this."

"Oh! You're British? Sweet!. Anyway there's nothing wrong with what you're wearing really. A bit of a touchup and I'm sure you'll be let in there in no time."

"Really?" Hermione asked doubtfully.

"Really. Just hold still for a bit and I'll get you up to snuff."

"W-What?!" But it was too late. Ella was like a force of nature, too ecstatic to ever be denied.

Flying high above the scene, Amenadiel smiled with personal pride. It had taken some doing but he'd introduced Hermione into this equation at the perfect time to run into Ella Lopez, one of the kindest souls in all of creation, and one uniquely situated with both Lucifer and the LAPD. With the right connection Hermione could link up with them both and a bridge to Harry would be formed. It was all coming together.

Several minutes later a very self-conscious Hermione found herself back in line with Ella looping her elbow with her own. The black haired girl had carried a surprising number of items in her purse and one of them had apparently been a folding pair of tactical scissors. The bushy haired witch's clothes had thus been radically changed.

Her jeans had been cut to just below the curve of her ass and pulled down low on her hips, while her T-shirt had a V cut in it that went down practically to her navel. The bouncer took one look at the pair of them and a second later they found themselves whisked through the velvet rope and across the threshold to the club itself.

The interior was just as she'd seen on her television last time. Heady atmosphere, strobe lights sweeping the floor, and upbeat music making all the patrons dance their hearts out. Ella shook her arm to get her attention, "Wanna get a drink?"

"Yeah." Hermione answered, grateful someone else was taking the lead here. Plus a bartender was sure to have the scoop on everything in a place like this, especially where to find the people that worked and performed there. It didn't take long to reach the long bar against the far wall, and much to Hermione's surprise it wasn't overly crowded as they made it to the bartender, a slim dark skinned woman with viper quick eyes, in no time.

"What d'ya want?" She demanded in a tone that brooked no argument.

"Ah… rum and coke." Ella decided after a second of thought. It was ready almost immediately.

Not one for heavy drinking, the witch just answered, "Whatever beer is on tap, and a bit of information if you have it."

This caught the attention of the woman behind the bar. "What kind?"

"A couple days ago I saw a broadcast of a man playing a fiddle in this club, named Harry Potter." Hermione could have sworn she saw the woman grow tense at those words.

"What do you want with him?"

"Oh nothing bad." Hermione was quick to assure the other woman who'd taken on a rather hostile posture while Ella looked on with clear interest from the side. "Harry is actually an old friend of mine… from school. I was really hoping to see him if I could. To reconnect."

"Hm." The bartender seemed to think it over for a minute before saying, "Harry has no interest in his past or anything in it, but even if he did, he's not here anymore."

"Not here?"

"Nope. Got sent away on a job. Could be gone for a month or two."

"O-Oh." The witch deflated at once at those words.

"Yeah, now could you get a move on? I have other customers." When the two younger women did as directed and moved off Maze immediately stepped away and called her boss.

"Yes, Mazikeen?" Lucifer answered.

"I just had a British chick come up to me asking about Harry by name. Said she knew him from school."

The line was silent for a moment as Lucifer contemplated this information. "Did she smell of magic?"

"Big time."

"Then she's probably from Hogwarts. Keep an eye on her while she's in the club, I'll do the same once she leaves. We promised to keep Harry safe from his old life and this could only be the start."

"Will do."

Back at a high table beside the dance floor Hermione was chugging her beer while an anxious Ella stared on. "Hey, uh, Hermione? You might want to take it a bit easy there…"

The bushy haired woman in question groaned, knowing the other woman was right, and set the near empty glass gently on the table. "Sorry. It's just… I was really hoping to find Harry."

"He's that important?"

"He's everything. He was my friend when I had no others. He stood for me, defended me from bullies, put up with my bossiness, and literally saved my life. Then he disappeared."

Ella was beside herself, this almost sounded like one of her favorite Hallmark movies! "So after all this time you tracked him down from a single performance on tv? That's awesome! That's like, fate, or god's plan, all rolled up into one!" Seeing the down expression still on her new friend's face she added, "Well buck up, Missy. That lady said he'd only be gone a month or two."

"Yeah, but I told my parents this was just a trip to congratulate me on finishing university. They think I'll only be here a few weeks at most and I can't see them paying the hotel to keep me on for two whole months."

"So you're just gonna give up?"

"N-No! But… I don't know what to do here."

"What was your major?"

"Crime scene analytics and investigations."

"Yay!" Ella clapped her hands happily and started literally hopping in place. "I'm a CSI at the LAPD and I've been begging the captain for an assistant for weeks now. He said it wasn't in the budget."

"Well that job would be perfect, but if it isn't in the budget why do you seem so happy?"

"Because I know a guy who grants favors and he's a friend of my gal-pal Chloe! Come on!" Ella latched once more onto Hermione's hand and dragged her across the floor of the club to a corner booth where the piano man from the tv was sat lazily with his arms around two scantily clad dancer girls. His face lit up with a smile when he saw Ella approaching.

"Aw, Ms. Lopez!" He rose to give the woman a light kiss on the cheek, waving the girls off as he did to make room for her at his table. "So good to see you. Why didn't you tell me you were coming out tonight? I'd have rolled out the red carpet for you." It was true, he'd only known the perky CSI for a few weeks, having been introduced to her on a case as a friend of the Detective, but she'd just been so friendly that he couldn't help but like her. Friendship to her was just plain infectious.

"Hey there, Lucifer. I just decided to come out at the last minute. My date completely ghosted me ya know."

"Oh? What's his name? I can make him disappear for you." He said, entirely serious.

"Oh Lucifer, that's too funny. But you shouldn't joke about things like that. Chloe might actually take you seriously and use it as an excuse to arrest you."

"I don't know about that. So far she's proven far from keen to put me in handcuffs. No matter how often I suggest it. Anyway, care to join me for a drink?"

"Sure! I'll have whatever you're having and my friend here will have another house beer."

"Perfect." Lucifer related the order to a passing waitress and when she returned they all took their seats. "I think you'll like this Ella, it's a favorite of a friend of mine. Dalmore, aged eighteen years."

Ella took a sip and nearly whistled. "That is good. Say, can I ask for a favor?"

"Right to it then? Of course. Ask away."

"I need an assistant in the lab, but the captain says it isn't in the budget. My new friend here is qualified and she needs a job ASAP. Can you hook me up?"

"Sure, she can start next week."

Hermione gaped, "Just like that?"

"Just like that. I'll call in the favor from you at a later time of my choosing." Lucifer said, taking note of the woman's accent. Was she the one Maze had spoken about? "The captain also owes me a favor and I'll call one in to make it happen. Your friend is clearly not from around here so I'll get a friend at immigration to fast track a work visa as well. Easy peasy. Now run along and enjoy the rest of your evening, and Ella, tell the bartenders I gave you a free tab."

The girl squealed with delight and ran off to make use of his gift, dragging the British girl along with her. Yes, she was going to take some watching indeed.

Later That Night

It took three rings before Harry picked up the phone, and even then Lucifer heard a great deal of crashing and grunting on the other end. "Bad time to call?"

"N-No." Harry responded, voice tight with effort and strain before a strong snapping sound came over the line and his voice cleared to its usual volume. "Sorry about that, just finishing up a bit of work here. What's up, Lucifer?"

"Nothing much, Harry just checking in. How is the hunt going?"

"Two down, eighteen to go. Was just finishing snapping the last one's neck when you called."

"Excellent, keep up the good work. Now, would you happen to know why a pretty little British girl came by the club looking for you by name?"

The line went silent at those words. Then, "Describe her." He did so and his young friend replied, "Hermione Granger. She was… important to me. Did she say if she was staying?"

"Funny you should ask that, a favor was just called in to get her a job. I'm assuming so she can wait out your return. Want me to look after her?"

"If you would, I would appreciate it. She's one of the only people in my old life who never turned on me."

"Got it. Hm, I wonder… if she's here, should I expect more magical Brits to pop in?"

A contemplative note entered Harry's voice as he answered, "You know what, probably. I wouldn't put it past the geriatric fuck to have had her followed."

"Fantastic. Means I can do some work on upholding my end of our bargain. No need to worry yourself there, Harry, I'll handle the magicals while you're away."

Amusement was clear to hear as the wizard answered, "I feel better already. How are Linda and Maze?"

"Missing you like crazy. Don't be surprised if your phone starts popping up with videos soon. They were talking about sending you some things to miss them more with."

"Jesus Fucking Christ I love those women!"

"Hey, leave my little brother out of this."

"Fine, what else is going on?"

"Well the Detective and I are working on a murder involving a star quarterback, and get this, she refuses to admit she wants to sleep with me."

"Well who could have foreseen that? The stoic, self-reliant detective, with a career and daughter to look after doesn't have every waking moment to fantasize about the devilish partner that drives her crazy."

Lucifer chuckled at the cheek and said, "Go on and clean up your mess, Harry. Get a drink while you're at it. Then get back to it. I already miss having you here."

"You got it boss." The line went dead, and Harry got back to work.

Two Weeks Later

"Really, Lucifer?" Chloe asked as she crossed the yellow tape with her partner. "Murder at a fashion show and you just happened to be here?"

"More than that, I was getting busy with one of the models when the gunshots went off and the body was found. A bit of a devilish circumstance to be sure."

"Of course it was. I thought after the quarterback case you'd lose interest in this kind of thing."

"What? Murder, mayhem, and punishment? How could I ever lose interest in that?"

The two passed the ever increasing number of uniforms to reach the body itself, and found two technicians instead of their usual one already present. "Who's the new girl?"

Ella straightened up, a wide smile on her face. "This is my new assistant, Hermione Granger."

"I thought an assistant wasn't in the budget?"

"It wasn't, but Lucifer called in a favor." She beamed.

The new girl came up then and held out her hand, "My name is Hermione Granger and it's a pleasure to be working with you." She eyed Lucifer, "Hello again, Mr. Morningstar."

"Hello dear. Harry says hello."

"Y-You talked to him?" Her eyes grew wide.

"I did, and he asked me to look after you. So if you need anything at all just ask."

"I-I will." Rallying herself, the brunette turned back to the detective. "Would you like to see what we've found?"

"Yes, I would. And I love your accent." Chloe beamed.

Some Time Later

Maze called this time, her line coming through to an effort filled groan that meant one of two things. Either her man was having sex without her, or he was strangling someone. "Anytime now, love."

Harry could hear the annoyance in his girlfriend's tone so he did as directed. Tightening his hold on the garrote wire he channeled his power into his hands and it erupted into a line of emerald flame. A second later the demon's head fell to the floor, her body following soon after to join the other three already there.

"Sorry about that, Maze," he said as he adjusted his earpiece, "Didn't want to accidentally burn the building down, but here we are. How are things?"

"Well, Linda and I are keeping 'busy' with each other but we 'miss' you quite a bit."

"Oh," he purred, "I miss you too."

"Lucifer just finished his case with the detective in record time. Only took a few days. That Hermione is something else. Together with Ella they got so much evidence off the bullet that it wasn't even funny. They even managed to stop a gang war in the process."

"She always was brilliant."

"Do I detect some affection there? Not so done with that old life?"

"It's behind me, Maze."

"Good to know. Where are you anyway?"

"Oregon for now. These fuckers have spread out all over the place. Next group is in Detroit according to the cards."

"Well pick me up something nice on the way back."

"Yes dear. Now tell me about your day, and more importantly… what are you wearing right now?"

Elsewhere in Los Angeles

"It's so bloody hot!" McGonagall groused as her trio made their way down Hollywood Boulevard. It had been days since their arrival in Los Angeles, but up to date they'd found neither hide nor hair of Ms. Granger or Mr. Potter.

"Well if you just changed out of the black dress-suit I'm sure this experience would be more fun for you." Tonks laughed as she walked beside the older woman. She'd adapted to the change in location enthusiastically, having donned a black corset, dark jean shorts, and sneakers. "Even Moody changed his style for the occasion."

"Constant vigilance means fitting into your surroundings, Lassy." Moody agreed. He was dressed in cargo shorts and a bright Hawaiian shirt with a floppy hat on his head and a glamor over his wooden leg. A regular walking stick explained his limp as he moved.

"Hmph." The distinctly Scottish sound that escaped the older woman's lips made it clear what she thought about their fashion choices. "I happen to like how I dress, so excuse me for maintaining some propriety." She looked around at all the outlandishly dressed and costumed people around her and added, "Even if nobody else seems to be doing the same." They'd somehow found their way to the Hollywood walk of fame and the colorful denizens of the area were certainly making an impact. "How are we supposed to find anyone in a mess like this?" She muttered.

"All we can do is keep looking for a clue of some sort." Moody answered. They'd not been able to make a single tracking spell work from the moment they'd arrived in this strange land.

"Or you could ask an expert." A smug voice spoke from behind them. They turned and beheld a well dressed man in a black suit with red eyes. In a flash Moody raised his wand and time stopped.

Lucifer groaned at the interruption and turned around to face his brother, leaned against a nearby building with surprisingly none of his usual higher-than-thou arrogance on display. "Do ya mind not interrupting, big brother? I'm trying to level a threat here."

"I do mind, Lucy." Amenadiel pushed off the wall and moved to stand beside him. "I promised Harry that I would not fail him again. Letting these people pull him back into their war, where I will remind you he is destined to die, would be doing just that."

The devil stared at his brother in surprise, "So, what? You want to threaten them too?"

"If you don't mind. I've already dispatched four marked death eaters that arrived at the same time."

"Killing humans now, brother?"

"Interceding on mankind's behalf. Within an hour of transporting into this country they'd killed three nonmagicals for fun. Their lives were forfeit. Pity you aren't in Hell right now to make sure they suffer as they should."

"Maze's sisters will make sure the job gets done. They're quite fond of Harry and despise his enemies. Now are you ready to scare them shitless or not?"

Amenadiel flared out his wings and cracked his neck, "Sure, been a while since we did this together."

"Yeah but this time we won't be making Michael shiver in fright. Humans should be easy."

Before they could start however a small pop sounded and a small creature with large floppy ears appeared before them, utterly confusing Amenadiel and bringing a delighted smile to Lucifer's face.

"You's is planning to scare Master Harry's enemies, Mr. Lucy, sir?" its head bobbed wildly with every word.

"Yes indeed, Dobby. These folk just showed up here looking for him. No doubt to take him back to England."

A fierce look entered the elf's eyes then. "I's be helping then."

"Ah… Lucifer? What is this creature and why can it move right now?"

The devil shrugged, "Harry's house elf. Don't think about it too hard, elves are weird."

Amenadiel seemed to take his words to heart as he just squared his shoulders and made himself ready. Following suit, Lucifer unveiled his devil face, smacked the wand out of the scarred man's hand, and together they squared off against the magicals. A flare of angelic will and only those three found themselves able to move, the rest of the crowd still frozen.

Immediately the scarred one produced another wand from his sleeve. It too disappeared, then a third, then a fourth, finally Amenadiel got tired of freezing them all again and again just to deal with that and said, "Dobby, please take all the wands."

"Yes sir, Mr. Bad Angel, Sir!"

"Bad angel?" Amenadiel blanched as the small creature snapped its fingers. An instant later over a dozen wands collectively laid on the ground beside them. Then the wizards were freed for the last time.

Moody and Tonks reached for several different places on their persons before paling and staring into the ruined visage of the devil's face, and the angel's anger. Only Moody stayed calm, looking down on the diminutive house elf.

"That's Dobby if I've ever seen him. I guess we're in the right place."

Said house elf scowled and snapped his fingers once more. The former auror's wooden leg shattered and he fell flat on his ass.

"Well done, Dobby." Lucifer chuckled before stepping forward. "You lot are a long way from home. What brings you to my city?"

"Your city?" To her credit, Minerva had forced her fear down and was looking the devil in the eyes. "And who might you be?"

"Oh, my apologies." He placed a hand flat on his chest for emphasis, "My name is Lucifer Morningstar, the devil incarnate. At your service."

"Amenadiel, high angel of heaven." The winged man followed his younger brother's example. They each let out a bit of their divine aura to bring the point clearly across.

"C-City of Angels indeed, then." McGonagall wheezed through the pressure before it reverted back to a more manageable level. As it did, the others too seemed to gather their courage once more and faced off with the divine beings, admittedly with more than a bit of wariness.

"You are taking our existence very well." Amenadiel noted.

"It's hard to argue with what's right in front of your face." Tonks pointed out.

"Fair enough."

"Nasty wizards should go back to England." Dobby folded his arms angrily. "There not be Master Harry here!"

"Uh, Dobby…" Tonks knelt down in front of the little guy, keeping the happy to watch angels at the corner of her eyes, "We all know you wouldn't stay anywhere Harry wasn't. You're too dutiful an elf to leave him alone."

"Dobby is saying he is not here!" Dobby reiterated.

"I'm afraid the little man is right. Harry left on a task for me quite some time ago. He's not even in the state."

"Lucifer you say?" Moody was slowly reaching behind his back and Dobby sighed before snapping his fingers again. A trio of knives and two handguns joined the wands and the gnarled wizard threw his hands up in the air. "I hate fighting with house elves, they take the fun out of it. Anyway, few beings of power I've met have dared to use that name. Are you truly the devil?" The women with him flinched at the insinuation.

"Spot on, human scum." Lucifer chuckled.

"Ask yourselves," Amenadiel crossed his arms and glared imperiously down on the mortals, "what could possibly make an angel of the lord and his mortal enemy unite before you? What issue could heaven and hell both share with you?"

Minerva gulped and guessed, "H-Harry?"

"Yes." the angel nodded. "It is our mutual decision that he will have nothing more to do with your war. Go where you will, but leave him be. He has found some peace here in Los Angeles and you will not take it from him."

"Odd words considering your previous proclamation, brother." Lucifer noted.

Amenadiel gave his younger sibling a look unique to exasperated older siblings the cosmos over and said, "I've taken steps to better his life, and I mean to take more to make him actually happy, instead of the contentment you provide. Regardless, this is his home now, and I will not let him lose another."

By far the most at ease of all his companions, Mad-eye took a few steps closer to the angels. At a single glance he knew he'd have no chance against them in a fight so only open discourse remained as an option. "Look, none of us want to drag him back to England either. The way Albus was leading him around before sat badly on more than a few heads, but we don't know any other way to win this war than to put him at the head of it. The prophecy was very clear." He wasn't surprised to see the understanding look in his captor's eyes.

"Not our problem." Amenadiel declared.

"Master Harry has no time for wizards." Dobby agreed.

"My assistant has duties here and two women that are already getting annoyed at the cold bed he's left behind. They'd tear me limb from limb if I sent him across the ocean. Fuck that." Lucifer eyed his brother and elf and they shared a nod, time to end it.

"Leave, stay, do as you will, but stay away from Harry." Lucifer stared into McGonagall's eyes and let his own flash with the fires of hell. "The circles of my domain are ready should you bring your war to him now."

Amenadiel flared his wings with power and let the weight of his will force Moody to his knees before intoning, "By my authority no stooge of Albus Dumbledore, nor any agents of Voldemort will darken Potter's door."

Dobby's form flared with arcane lightning and Tonks' body seized in place. "If you's kidnap or hurt Master Harry, I's be turning your body inside out."

The three beings nodded as one, and then time resumed for everyone else on the street around the magicals. The divine men and elf were gone. Disappeared without a trace.

Some Time Later

Lucifer had called Harry's phone and this time he answered on the first ring. "Hello?"

"Harry, my friend, that was fast. How's the job going?"

On the other end of the line the wizard checked the measurements of his scope one last time and fired off three quick shots from his rifle. Three good hits, but the last sucker was hiding behind a couch. "I'd say about ninety-nine percent done. Should be finished soon enough and on my way back to LA. What's new on your end?"

"A few things actually. Met some more of your old pals from England. No need to panic, Amenadiel and I handled them with an assist from Dobby. Don't ask. Anyway they'll be no bother to you."

"I'm glad to hear it." A twitch of movement, a squeeze of the trigger, and fresh brains splattered the wall of the neighboring high-rise from Harry's prone position. "And… done. That's the last hellish jailbird dealt with. I'll pack up when we're done talking."

"Good to hear. But get this, just this morning Maze came up to me with someone who wanted a favor."

"Well that's not unusual, Lucifer. Giving out favors is kind of your thing."

The devil started chuckling on his end of the line as he said, "Yes, but this person turned out to be a priest."

Harry's jaw dropped at that bit of information. "Tell me everything."
