If you read this before I am sorry but It wasn't good enough for me. I wanted better and So I feel like I wrote better. I even gave the OC a name and started it a little later because I felt I had more creative liberties like that. Also I needed Jenna to survive (not so much John because dude sucks balls). I'm happy with this but that doesn't mean I can't improve. Leave reviews and all that Jazz if you like it. Also, Finn is in here and part of hers. Alright that's it. You may read.
Chapter 1-
Finally all I have been waiting for was here. The 'woe is me' sacrifice that was the greatest moment of distraction for my own plans. I had just enough time to move the coffins and catch the ending to Klaus' final moments as a vampire. I hadn't seen this part during my many years of sleep and wish I was coward enough to turn away from the soft way he held her face and the intense look he was giving her.
"Thank you, Elena."
She kept her face straight with an air of defiance. "Go to hell." While this was her most terrifying moment, this was my most jealous moment. He was too gentle when biting her, it was almost loving but not thanks to the situation. In moments the doppelganger dropped and Klaus was set to transform.
"Now." I instructed the vampire and witch behind me. The vampire, Kyle, went for Jenna's body and dragged her into the dark of the woods without being seen while the magic of my witch, Kara, got stronger. I guess holding a soul in stasis was hard. Jenna was soon near me and laid next to one of the two kidnapped humans.
Kara then began the transfer making the man take on Jenna's dead vampiric state while she was returned to life and most importantly as a human. It must have taken longer than I thought because the scooby gang was there with Bonnie and John.
"Kara you're not too tired are you because there's still one life you have to save."
"Never too tired for you, Sylphat." She smiled at me. I felt the air shift along with her magic taking the life force from our only live human and transferring it to John just as Bonnie was transferring his to Elena. The Bennet witch was just as impressive as I had seen during my incubation but Kara was still more impressive only because she didn't use verbal magic. Hers was non-verbal and did not rely on the ancestors but on her connection to the earth itself and balance. When her magic began to decrease I almost worried until she gave me a pleased smile.
"Done."
"Great. Now all that's left to do is wait for the Mikaelson duo to come to me. We have blood back at the house right?"
"Freshly stocked this morning." Kyle assured me.
"Ok. Kara burn the bodies then meet me back at the house. Kyle, try not to wind her while you're speeding." Even for a Vampire he was unnaturally fast. With no further words I let the wind take my body and move it swiftly through the air all the way to the edge of this podunk town. You know that saying about small town charm? Well, there was no charm here. Just trouble, magic, a vampire infestation and the annoying scooby gang. I only prefer trouble I've caused, magic I've sought out, vampires I can trust and a group not a gang of self sacrificing idiots.
Now that I've changed a part of history there should be no more sacrifices for a while. Elena has her aunt and uncle, the two men that pine for her and her little brother and friends. Hopefully she'll stay quiet enough that I can make progress on my own endeavors.
The doors of my house opened for me and I landed on the other side of the door with a smile. All I had to do was wait a little more and I would leave this house in search of a home with the K's and my men which reminds me that two of them are still in coffins along with the little sister. She was a mean little wench but I didn't care for her, only them. I went to grab blood bags but then thought against it. Without the other two here it would not feel like the reunion I want.
I went to my basement welcoming the cool temperature and grinning at the two coffins that were mine. I only looked at one with true distaste and that was their mothers. I should have left the one with their mother if only because I hated her on a deeply personal level.
I stepped up to open one of them, I hesitated, I was scared but I couldn't exactly say what. I opened it and was stunned by the dedicated form of a once healthy and attractive young man. I reached my hand out to touch his cheek and his skin was so soft even in its nearly dead state.
"The time is nigh Sylphat."
I continued stroking Kol's cheek, not sure he'd allow it when he awoke. "Not yet." I said out loud.
"Your freedom, your control, your passion and your morals."
"How as a being of my amoral species that I have some is an oxymoron. Now leave me, I have guests to prepare for." And I did. The sun would be up in a few hours and how could I not attempt to make an effort for them. After all I would give them anything while taking everything for myself.
