Dark Daybreak

I am Alpha and Omega

Sirens blare, red dances across all screens
Diagrams and graphs flash, their numbers flying off the charts.
Keyclacks can be heard, reports fly in from all stations

the beginning

Raziel is granted access, blocks are put up
Yet it continues; a line of red weaving through green-blue honeycomb stacks.
Pull the switch and turn the lever, somewhere a section of wall falls off,
Then light once again, as power arcs through.

and the end

Eyes wide in fear, watch as the infection spreads
Space/time becomes distorted, feelings of dread.
Watch the monitor, discover the new objective,
Call for help, but hear only the hum of machinery.

You shall be as gods

the first

Flee from the danger, only to find death
Now there is only one left.
One last look at family and one press of a button
Then be consumed by a raging fire.

and the last

Fall to earth; be born from the brownish muck
Your master has created you.
A rain of stars, all from above
And the sea embraces you.
