"We're back! In the last episode, we revealed the cast members for this season!" Chris welcomes, a flashback plays of Chris saying each name of the contestants before they crash head first onto the ship. When the flashback ends, Chris chuckles to himself seeing the misery all over again.

"Now, I think it's time we get this show on the road!" Chris states, slowly pacing back and forth in front of the contestants, waiting patiently to start, "Three, two, one, go!" Chris announces, getting shoved in every direction. Irritated, he watches as they run off along the ship.

The camera jumps to Eva, Tyler, and Noah walking alongside each other with their clues in their hands along the main deck, the waves crashing behind them, Eva asks the others, "Where do you guys have to go? I don't even know what a 'Crow's Nest' is!" she complains, trying to look around to find her secret location.

"It says I've got to find the Commissioned Officer's Quarters… What does `commissioned' even mean?" Tyler asks, blanking on the word, Noah gives Tyler a look.

"It's where you pay someone to do something for you, we gotta focus, I've got an Orlop Deck to find." Noah answers, urging the group to stay on task, the camera shifts to Katie and Dave on the below floor of the ship. The room they were in was dimly lit and sketchy, it reeked of rotten seafood. Dave made sure to watch his step with every movement.

"Soooo, you're like one of those new schoolers, right?" Katie asks Dave, who rolls his eyes and continues walking. He looks down to his paper, which says the word 'Berth', he starts to look around, attempting to avoid the girl before she gets up in his face.

"Hey, what gives?" he barks, which quickly intimidates Katie back to his side, "What do you even want, anyways? Aren't you scared of me like all the others?" he questions, hoping to assist the girl in whatever she needed just so she would go away. She hands him her paper, which reads the words 'Davy Jones's Locker', Dave gives it a second glance before redirecting his attention back to Katie.

Katie holds her hands behind her back, she leans in towards the scrawny germaphobe, "So, whad'ya say?" she asks, Dave thinks about things for a second.

CONFESSIONAL:

Dave leans into the camera, almost looking guilty in a way, "You know, on a normal occasion there's no way I would've said yes," Dave clarifies, "But I need allies, and if Katie's gonna still want to talk to me after what I did on Pahkitew, then I'll let her." he ends off, sighing.

END OF CONFESSIONAL

"You know what? Okay." Dave caves in, exciting the girl, she grabbed his hand and tugged him around like a ragdoll, he let out a desperate groan as the camera switched over to Anne Maria, who was drooling over the hyper focused Justin on the balcony, his hair whipped with the wind, the sun adding dark gray tints to his black, silky hair. As he sprinted around the ship she followed right behind him.

As Justin comes to a halt in a room to the west of the main deck, Anne Maria finally sees an opportunity to talk to him, "So," she begins, Justin looks behind him to notice the girl and her excessive amount of makeup, "You know where you're going around here?" she asks him, getting closer with each phrase, uncomfortable with the distance between them, Justin steps back promptly.

"No, which is why I'm not up there with my puzzle pieces," he groans, he comes across a piece of paper, which he quickly goes to retrieve, he takes a close look at it before loudly groaning, "Do you happen to be Anne Maria?" he asks, her face becomes as hot as the surface of the sun.

"Yeah." She grins when he's not looking, trying to hide her excitement. She swiftly runs over to Justin, it appeared he had found her puzzle pieces. She opens her bag carefully and pulls out a purple puzzle piece. "I didn't realize this is what a Navigation Room would look like," she joked, but he didn't seem to laugh, "Well, see you!" she tells Justin as she sprints back up to the main deck.

When Anne Maria makes it back up to the deck, she is met by Chris, and only Chris, standing beside two tables, one purple, one red. Chris spots her and shouts, "Hey! You're the first one back! Go to the table that matches the color of your puzzle pieces to wait for the rest of your team!" Anne Maria nods and walks to the purple table.

The camera jumps-cuts to Brick, Topher, and Dakota walking back up towards the main deck, "I love your sweater, where'd you get it?" Dakota asks, pointing at Topher's deep cerulean sweater with a white button-up underneath, Brick takes a look at it and agrees to Dakota's statement.

"Oh, thanks," Topher responds, having to look down at his own sweater before doing so, "I'm not sure where I got it, ask Chris." he adds, embarrassed. Dakota and Brick give each other a look before continuing on to find their puzzle pieces.

"So, do you guys know each other?" Topher asks the two, "I could've sworn you both were on the same season."

Dakota answers, "Not entirely, we didn't talk much on the show, I was busy with Sam." Dakota begins to turn her head towards the ground as they walk by the edge of the ship.

Topher gives Dakota a look and goes to speak, but not before Brick asks, "Are you and Sam still together?" Dakota peers her head up a bit, which turns into a jerk, she runs over to a pillar.

"I found it!" she shouts, Topher and Brick scurry over to where Dakota was, she grabs a patchy gray bag and pulls it open, inside she sees purple puzzle pieces.

"Well Brick, it's just the two of us now." Topher states, trying to keep conversation with the cadet, Brick gives Topher a smile before they head down a ladder into the bottom floor, Dakota goes to the host, awaiting more instructions.

"Ahoy there! Go over to the purple table, where Anne Maria's standing." Chris explains, Dakota does so. Anne Maria looks up from filing her nails to see Dakota.

"I thought you were Justin." Anne Maria frowns, disappointed by her newest team member, Dakota lowers her eyebrows at her before taking a stance at the purple table. The camera pans back over to Chris.

"With two members of the Purple Team ready to puzzle, and none from the Red Team, Red's going to have a serious issue catching up!" Chris taunts, he grins at the camera before it pans to Sammy and Max on the highest point of the ship.

"I don't like heights…" Sammy pouted, looking down at the main deck, Max dragged her away from where she could see below her.

"Focus, we've got a challenge to do!" Max sneers, checking high and low for any sort of papers.

"Hey! I think I see something!" Sammy calls, Max stumbles over, she points to a paper underneath a plank of wood, they both look under and groan. "Nope, it's Justin's." She mopes, heading down from where she came, she then sees a guy wearing a green shirt and cargo pants rush up to the main deck.

"Way to go, Brick! Find your table and wait for the rest of your team to find their pieces!" Chris reminds Brick, he walks over to the Purple table, Anne Maria and Brick begin to have a conversation.

"We've gotta find ours, and quickly, one of the teams already has three people!" Sammy warns Max as she quickly scurries around the elevated deck, Max follows and comes down, Max is checking around a pillar when he finds Sammy's paper.

CONFESSIONAL:

"I saw an opportunity and I ran with it," Max explains, "I don't exactly trust Sammy, never did. Maybe it'll be beneficial for my team if I were to switch things around a bit." he finished, putting his hands together and chuckling menacingly.

END OF CONFESSIONAL

Max sweeps up Sammy's paper and goes back up the ladder where they came from, he sticks her paper on the ground with her bag, Sammy looks up from what she's doing and asks, "Why are you back up there?" Max freezes in his tracks and picks himself back up.

"I was just making sure we didn't miss anything, I'm coming back down." he reassures, as he comes down the ladder he sees Sammy standing in one place, glaring at one specific spot from all sorts of different angles. Max comes to join her.

"I think I see a paper up there," Sammy informs Max, pointing up towards a spot he couldn't reach. She jumps up and tries to get it, "It's yours, Max!" she exclaims, he stares at it blankly, the camera quickly pans to Chris, chuckling at his own twisted joke, Sammy keeps jumping and reaching for it until she finally gets it for him. Max opens the bag to see the color purple plastered on a puzzle piece. He looks to the tables and grins, his team was in a very far lead.

"Good luck!" Max blurts, running down towards his team, Sammy decides to go down with him. Max joins the three others on his team by their table. They look him up and down.

When Sammy goes down to the second floor, Brick welcomes Max, Anne Maria follows up, "Has anyone seen Justin lately?" With that, the camera switches to Justin walking through the third floor, tired and sweaty. He stops to sit down on a bench when he feels something rubbing his calf, he gets up and looks underneath to spot a paper with the name 'Noah' on it, he sighs and sits back down to catch a breath. Noah, Tyler, and Eva enter the room, looking equally as exhausted as Justin.

Noah notices the model and gets the attention of his travel mates, Tyler walks up to Justin and asks him, "Have you seen any papers?"

CONFESSIONAL:

Justin sits down and begins his confessional by stating, "It's not in my best interest to lie to him, as much as I might want to," Justin thinks for a second, then continues, "Besides, it might help to get on the good sides of my competition."

END OF CONFESSIONAL

"Yeah, actually." Justin tells the truth, he stands up from where he was sitting and points to under the bench. The trio's eyes light up as Tyler crouches down to retrieve the puzzle pieces.

"Noah!" Tyler says as he hands him the bag, Noah opens it to see red puzzle pieces, he takes a sigh of relief as he closes back up his bag.

Noah looks back up to Justin, "Thanks." he expresses as he walks back up to the deck. Justin begins to walk in the opposite direction when he feels a hand on his shoulder.

"Wanna come with us? Us gen one's have to stick together." Eva asks, Justin turns to see the two friends looking at him, he nods and they begin to walk together to the east end of the ship.

"You," Justin pointed at Eva, "I remember you from the peanut gallery." Eva rolls her eyes and scoffs.

"I mean, who doesn't," Eva jokes, "I was on more episodes of the Aftermath than I was on Total Drama." she continues, recalling her memories of the 2 seasons she spent in the peanut gallery. Justin couldn't help but to laugh a bit at the misfortune of Eva's screen time.

"I was lucky to be on two seasons," Tyler claims, "But I think the producers only added me back because I'm Lindsay's boyfriend and they needed more Lyler." He adds, sounding dispirited.

Eva places her hand on his shoulder, "Well you're here now." she reminds him, which cheers him up. The group walks past a sprinting Topher with a bag in-hand.

"Oh to be him." Justin says while looking back towards Topher, he quickly realizes that Eva and Tyler were still walking and quickly dashed back up to them. Suddenly, a loud speaker screeches.

"Is this thing on?" Chris tests through the speaker, the trio stop to listen, "Ok good, this challenge is taking way longer than I thought it would, there's only six people who have found their puzzle pieces, so I'm going to be nice and tell everyone what section of the ship their puzzle piece is on." Chris complains.

"Free answers? What kind of stuff is Chris on?" Eva questions, only to be shushed by Tyler, who is staring intently at the speaker above.

"Dave, center second floor. Eva, above the main deck, Justin, also above the main deck. Katie, not entirely sure how you haven't figured it out by now. Sammy, once again, above the main deck. Finally, Tyler, east of the main deck, but not under the ship, good luck!" Chris announces as he cuts off the speaker.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Tyler asks, they all give each other a look before quickly sprinting up towards the main deck. When they go up, they are met with the six contestants who had already completed the first half of the challenge, waiting for the rest of their team to arrive. They also saw Sammy, who was scrambling on the west end of the ship.

"I'll head over here, see you!" Tyler says as he runs over to a room embezzled in the east side, Eva sees a tall ladder leading up to a very small, high up circle shaped platform. Which leaves Justin standing there, he decides to go over to where Sammy was to see if she could assist him.

Dave runs back up to the main deck with his puzzle pieces and becomes the fifth member of the Purple Team. Topher and Noah give each other a frightened glance.

"You think we have any shot?" Noah asks Topher, he glances over at the Purple Team, who were all impatient to start on their puzzle. He looks back at Topher, who was clearly not hopeful.

"Not at all, how hard can it possibly be to find a bag?" Topher complains, Noah nods. From above them, Eva loudly cheers and comes back down from where she came. She runs over to the two guys.

"Man, I would've never found that without Chris's hint," Eva says, taking a large breath, "Well, we meet again Noah. Who's this?" She asks, glancing over at the tall blonde.

"The name's Topher, I've heard you were Eva, right?" Topher asks. Eva nods, she puts her hand out to shake his, he does the same, she ends up crushing his delicate hand with a absurdly firm grasp, he shrieks in pain.

CONFESSIONAL:

Topher holds his injured hand with his other hand and tells the camera, "It's good to know that I'm getting along with my fellow castmates. I know I wasn't the most popular one last time around. What if I win this time? Then I can start my own reality TV show! Maybe I'll borrow some of the people I meet on here to be my contestants instead!" he brainstorms, gushing over the plans he made for his future.

"Topher?" Chris questioned from outside the confessional, Topher shrieks and sprints out, cutting out the camera in the process.

END OF CONFESSIONAL

The camera pans to Justin, running towards the red table, Eva and Noah perk up in joy, but Topher silently mopes. Chris makes an announcement towards the camera, "Red team is catching up! But purple is only waiting for one more to join them! Can this be any tighter?" The camera pans to Sammy, looking up and down the same place she found Max's paper.

"Stupid, stupid challenge…" Sammy grumbles in frustration. She climbs up the short ladder towards where she found Justin's paper, from behind her she hears an eruption of cheers, she decides not to look when she finds a piece of paper on the ground, dirty and somewhat crumbled. She picks it up and it reads her own name, she picks up the bag and opens it to see red puzzle pieces, she groans, why couldn't she be on the Purple Team? She turns around to see the Purple Team starting their puzzle.

"That's why." Sammy says to herself as she rushes down to meet up with the rest of her team. When she reached the group, they were panicking.

"Who's not up here?" Noah asks the group.

"Well, Sammy just got here, there's that jock on the other team… Eva… Justin… It's that one girl." Topher vaguely replies, but they all know who he meant. The camera pans over to the other team, struggling to put together their puzzle.

"Dwarf! That doesn't go there!" Anne Maria shouts at Max, who was clearly irritated by the girl.

"Shut up! We're never gonna do anything if we keep arguing." Dave states, attempting to keep the team in one piece. Anne Maria stops what she's doing to give Dave a nasty look before continuing.

"Guys, I think I know what to do." Brick announces, the entirety of the Purple Team gives Brick their attention to let him try and solve the puzzle.

Soon, Katie comes back up onto the main deck and begins to wander to the west side of the ship, not before Noah can say anything about it, "Hey!" Noah shouts at her, she quickly turns around to see the less than pleased team standing before her, "What are you even looking for anyways?" he asks, trying to assist her before it's too late.

"Uh, Davy Jones's Locker… like, what even is that?" Katie hesitantly responds, most of the team facepalms. She looks at the group with concern.

"That's not a real place, you idiot!" Eva grunts in frustration. Katie's eyes widen and she fiddles with her hands.

"Oh… Chris!" Katie starts to call for the host, Chris walks out to see the Purple Team cheering. The Red Team quickly turns to their left to see Purple's completed puzzle, they all collectively groan, the rest of the Red Team glare at Katie.

"The Purple Team wins the first challenge!" Chris announces after inspecting their puzzle, the Purple Team jumps and hugs one another. Suddenly, Dave stops celebrating.

"Are we actually just going to be called the Purple Team?" Dave questions the host, who quickly becomes red.

"No, you won't," Chris replies, "The 'Purple Team' are actually named the Ruthless Rapscallions! Dave, Brick, Max, Dakota, Anne Maria, and Tyler, you'll be competing on this team." An image of a purple scorpion comes onto the screen.

Chris walks over to the Red Team, who are fuming, "Our losers? They are the Savage Scallywags! Consisting of Katie, Eva, Topher, Justin, Noah, and Sammy." he explains, an image of a red hook appears.

"At least we have a cool name?" Sammy tries to cheer the rest of the team up, to no success.

"Rapscallions, you're safe tonight, go get yourself settled in the private quarters." Chris directs the winning team, they let out one last cheer before passing by the Scallywags, snickering and taunting on their way past, Eva stuck up a fist at them, but Noah quickly shut down that idea.

"And for the Scallywags, the Plank-O'-Shame awaits, downstairs is where you'll be staying for the next three days, make yourself comfy." Chris teases before sending them off to their quarters.

When they reach their quarters, the putrid smell of dead fish fills their senses all over again, there are three hammocks, and no other sleeping accommodations, light was scarce. The Scallywags all looked at each other, then directly to Katie.

"This stinks!" Eva loudly complains, she sets her bag of stuff down and quickly tries to make herself comfy on a nearby barrel, which doesn't go too well.

Noah sighs and quickly suggests, "All in favor of making Katie sleep on the floor?" Soon enough, everyone besides Katie herself is raising their hand. Katie groans and takes a spot in the corner on a box.

"How about me, Noah, and Justin take the hammocks tonight since we were the first ones to complete the challenge, then maybe we can trade out for Sammy and Eva? Katie doesn't get a hammock since she completely threw the challenge." Topher adds, but gets ignored.

Justin suggests to the group, "What if me, blonde guy, and short guy take the hammocks since we did the best, then we can trade out with the aggressive girl and the cute one, and we can just leave Katie in the corner?" Everyone but Katie agrees, Topher grumbles.

CONFESSIONAL:

"Ok, I get it, he's attractive and all, but does he really need to rub it in my face?" Topher complains, jealous of Justin's ability to get the team to listen to him, "I need him out, and soon. He's totally gonna mess up my game!" he whines, laying his head low in defeat.

END OF CONFESSIONAL

The camera shifts to the much nicer Rapscallion's quarters, with separate rooms for the males and the females, bathrooms connected to each room, and abundant amounts of light.

As Anne Maria walks into the room, she takes a large breath of relief, "Whoo!" she lands directly on her bed, "I wanna stay here for as long as possible!" Dakota takes the bed directly beside her.

"They have a vanity here too!" Dakota informs Anne Maria, to which she shoves Dakota aside. Anne Maria touches up on her makeup.

"This is so much better than the dirty cabins they had us staying in during our season!" Anne Maria states, Dakota nods as they both lie down on their beds.

On the male's side of the quarters, there are two bunk beds, almost instantly, Tyler shouts, "I call top bunk!" and hops his way up. Dave sets his stuff under Tyler's bunk and lies down, exhausted from the challenge. Brick quickly makes his way up to the other bunk, while Max settles at the bottom.

"I totally contributed to the victory of our team," Max boasts, lying down with his hands behind his head, Dave raises his eyebrows at the purple haired dwarf. "I moved Sammy's goods without her knowing." he elaborates, causing Brick and Tyler to audibly gasp.

"Wait, which one's Sammy again?" Tyler asks, unsure of the newer competition.

"The taller girl with the blond hair, from Pahkitew if that helps." Brick informs Tyler, he realizes who Max was speaking of, that causes him to audibly gasp once again.

"Why would you do that to her?" Tyler asks, upset by his teammates' actions. Max simply shrugs his shoulders.

CONFESSIONAL:

"I don't like this new guy," Tyler confesses, "I might not know the girl he did that to, but what I do know what he did was not cool."

END OF CONFESSIONAL

The camera shifts to the Scallywags, who have all been noticeably quiet. Topher gets up from his hammock, he taps Noah on the shoulder. Noah looks up to see Topher signaling to him to come over to him. Topher steps out of the room with Noah quickly following after, they walk to another room.

"Is there something you need from me?" Noah asks, the know-it-all looks around the unfamiliar room, trying to avoid eye contact.

"You're Noah, right?" Topher inquires, Noah nods, Topher continues, "Ok, I need some help with the vote tonight, I know the obvious choice is to vote out Kat-"

Topher is cut off by Noah, "Which is exactly what we're going to do, she screwed up the challenge." Topher sighs in frustration.

"As I was saying," Topher proceeds with his statement, "I think we should keep our eyes out on Justin." Noah gives the ex-wannabe a look of distaste.

"Now why would we want to do that?" Noah challenges, "He's one of our strongest players, and though he might have the brains of a goldfish, he's better than whatever Katie could do, I thought you were a little smarter than this." Noah goes to walk out of the small room when Topher stops him in his tracks.

"I'm not saying get him out now, that would be stupid," Topher clarifies, which eases the tension a bit, "What I'm saying is that Justin, he's kinda… off. I think when or if he gets the chance, he'll take both of us out with no problems." Topher adds.

"You know what, you're not as dense as I thought." Noah smirked.

Appalled, Topher replied, "I'm not sure what you mean by that, but glad to know we're on the same page." Topher walks out of the room, the camera quickly shifts to the main deck, the six Scallywags climb the ladder to the location.

The Sun was setting, reflecting hues of orange and pink, the ocean waves crashed on the sea as the night fell, it became noticeably chillier than it was midday.

"Welcome Scallywags your first, and embarrassingly, the first, elimination ceremony!" Chris teased, to which the majority of the team glared like daggers at Katie, "While the choice seems pretty obvious tonight, the first one up to vote is Sammy!" Sammy walks nervously to the confessional. There is a quick cut to the results.

"Well, well, well," Chris begins reading the names on the votes, "I'm surprised this wasn't unanimous!" The Scallywags look in confusion at each other.

"As you all should know, when I call your name, you're safe, this year you'll receive a coveted Chris Doubloon! If you don't receive one, you'll have to jump off of the Plank-O'-Shame!" The camera pans up, revealing a thirty foot drop into the ocean. The contestants all chuckle in fear.

"The first Chris Doubloon of the season goes to… Eva!"

Eva smirks as she takes her coin and realizes it's made out of chocolate, she eats it in one bite.

"Sammy will also not be going home tonight!"

Sammy squeals as she takes her chocolate doubloon.

"Also safe is Topher… unfortunately."

Chris purposefully overshoots the coin, forcing Topher to run after it.

"Noah, Justin, and Katie." Chris announces the remaining contestants. They look to each other, and then their teammates, then back to Chris.

"The second to last doubloon goes to Noah!"

Noah sighs as he takes the coin and rips a bite out of it.

"And the last doubloon of the night goes to…."

"Justin."

Justin lets out his breath that he has been holding and gratefully takes the doubloon. Katie is left with no words.

"But none of that really mattered, because this was a non-elimination round!" Chris clarified, making Katie perk up with joy, her fellow castmates less than pleased. Chris gave a menacing laugh, "Well, all of you are safe, but maybe this is an eye opener to how your fellow team really thinks about you." Chris mentions, making the group think. The group got up to head back to their quarters.

"Well, that was our first elimination ceremony of the season. Katie almost walked the plank, but got saved by a non-elimination round. Will the Scallywags pick up the pace and win immunity? Or will history repeat itself? Find out these answers and more, on the next episode of Total! Drama! Wakiki Islands!" Chris signs off.

"Phew," Chris utters off-camera, "That was quite the day, wasn't it?"

Chef walks onto the main deck and pats Chris on the back, "You did great Chris."

Chris smiles at his business partner, "Thanks," he states, "You should get in on the action a little more." Chris suggests.

"I'll try." Chef says as the two look off into the setting sun.

A/N: no elimination! I wanted to give everyone a little more time to get to know each other before i gave someone the boot. I hope at least one of you thought Katie was going home today :)
