Prologue
It becomes quite tiring, waiting for the moon to set. The moon is once again full, and I feel compelled climb up onto the roof, and lay awake as I absorb all the energy the moon has to offer. I suppose it comes from living on Earth, instead of where I belong. I am the moon's child, and should be living with my mother.
Alas, I am not destined to return to the moon for a long while. The people of this planet are not ready. They are all too small-minded and conceited to grasp the concept of humans living outside this planet. Their so-called "scientists" have "proven" that humans cannot inhabit any planet save Earth. If only they knew. The only reason today's Earth is so populated is because nine groups of foreign "humans" share the Terrans' planet.
However, before the Kingdom of the Moon can return, along with all the people who belong elsewhere, terrans must embrace the idea of an "Earth Kingdom." And that concept is currently far from their minds, for at this moment, Earth is involved in a sort of civil war, a world war, between the various nations.
I refuse to involve myself in these petty battles. Japan has asked my friends and I repeatedly to fight, to "aide my country in this time of great need." We refused, and I told "my" country that I only fight for the good of the planet.
So my friends and I retreated to the Ten'ou mansion, biding our time until we can yet again save the world.
I feel that when that time is reached, the world we know and love will be destroyed, and a Neo-Earth will be formed.

Please tell me what you think. This story is set a couple years after StarS, though the exact time frame will be established in later chapters. Also, I'm not a big fan of Mamoru, so I'm warning Mamoru lovers to keep away.
