Rory was an excellent journalist. She was wanted by many of the newspapers around the world. She worked for the New Yorker along with Paris. Rory lived with Paris in a nice upscale apartment in New York City along with Doyle, Paris boyfriend or more accurately "love slave". But Rory did not want to think about that. She often went home to visit her mother in Starshollow. Although Starshollow was becoming quite exciting with Luke and Lorelei's upcoming nuptials Rory enjoyed being there to help her mother through her first actual wedding. Lane was exciting because Dave had come back from California and proposed to her, after of course getting Mrs. Kim's approval first. Rory was slightly saddened to see that all the people around her were in happy relationships that were leaning towards marriage. She just wished to be a relationship that was leaning towards being something special. She hadn't really been on a date in a long time. Yeah a few weeks ago she went out with Stan in photography, but he just saw that has hanging out with a hotshot reporter. Rory was constantly looking back to her younger days and what would have been if only she had known that, yes Tristan had a crush on her at Chilton and, yes Logan was falling for back at Yale. She kept thinking what if I could go back in time, to either Chilton or Yale, to begin a relationship with one of them or start one right now.
