Chapter 2
"I won!!" said Violet as she dashed in with a trophy. "I had the best invention in the whole SCHOOL!!! And now I get to compete HIGH –SCHOOL STUDENTS!!!!" said Violet, smiling.
"Way to go, Violet!!" said Mr. Bauladaire.
"Let's celebrate!!" said Mrs. Bauladaire said, bringing the pizza in. Klaus was right behind her smiling. "Way to go!!!" he said.
" Thanks Klaus!!" said Violet grinning.
They all had a wonderful dinner. After that, Violet showed them the invention she made. " Wow." She heard and " Ooo" and "Aaa" and so on.
That night their parents tugged the children in their beds. " Good night." They said. And they went to their room.
" NO!! That's not what the program is about!! Its not making fires, its putting out fires!!!" said their dad. Klaus was awake once more reading a book. He overheard voices of their parents with someone he would know very soon, some one who would make a difference in their life.
" I know!! But I need MONEY!!" said the man.
" NO!! Its mine!!!" said Mr. Bauladaire.
" Or ours!! Olaf stop it!! You can't burn our house!! And it's our fortune!!! Stop it and leave this house!!" said Mrs. Baualadaire
" Whatever!!"
"GO!!!" said both their parents.
" Fine!!! But I'll come after you!!!"
Klaus heard a slam. He thought he was dreaming. Little did he know that if he remembered that night in the future, their lives would be a lot better.
