I've decided to upload the drabbles I've been posting on Tumblr over here! These are all based on prompts I've received from people, mostly from the emoji drabbles ask game where I have to write something based on just a selection of emojis. Drabbles will feature the main gang from Bill, on the same timeline as Never Did Run Smooth and my Thanktival fics. There's a lot of Gabriel in particular~

Prompt 1

Fitting In

He found her outside. She stood with her back to the house, bathed in moonlight, her hands resting on the fence near the stable and her head tilted up to the sky. Ian slowly approached and as he did, Gabriel turned her head. She smiled as he came closer, stopping only when he had her enveloped in his arms, his lips pressed to her hair.

"What's wrong?"

Gabriel just kept smiling, "Nothing at all. Everything is just perfect."

"Are you sure? You seemed a bit… lonely."

"We all need a moment to ourselves sometimes."

"Should I go…?" Ian asked, loosening his hold on her, but she pulled him back.

"No, no. Stay. Enjoy the quiet with me."

For a few minutes, they happily stood together in silence like that, under the stars in the cool night air, until Ian spoke again.

"Do you ever miss Spain?"

It took Gabriel a second or two to respond.

"… Sometimes. Parts of it. But I so often felt out of place," she mused, "I think I was always meant to leave…"

As she was speaking, Ian took her hand. He kissed it gently.

"I'm glad you did."

"As am I," she looked into his eyes, "Somehow, I feel like I can fit in here so much better."

Ian thought for a moment before he spoke again, "I think it's more than that."

"Hm?" she cocked her head.

"More than fitting into a place. We fit together," He gestured back towards the house, "All of us."

Gabriel cast her gaze over to the window, where she could see Bill and the twins, wrapped up in some game of make believe, laughing as he acted out a story. She nodded, turning back to Ian.

"We certainly do. But we have talked enough now," she placed a hand on his cheek, "Kiss me."
