Hi everyone! WOW! It's been so long. 4 years?! Where was I? What happened? Well, I finished school, got my degree, and now I have my dream job! And what's that?! I get to deliver babies! :D

A lot in my life has changed in these 4 years. Before L&D I worked in the ICU in the height of COVID, and I'm still struggling with what I saw. Depression, anxiety, and PTSD have been hard. Nevertheless, I thought I might take a crack back at this after so long. I might be rusty, please bare with me. I found this chapter half written somewhere in my notes. I can't guarantee that I will be publishing often, but I need something to help distract me here and there. Star Wars has always been my safe space.

Well, enough of my ranting. Let's get back to the story!

As soon as Lev entered the hangar, he noticed the unconscious sergeant in the corner and an unauthorized engine start on the TLR fighter.

He felt out through the force and felt the dainty response of the woman within the cockpit. His gaze moved towards the control center of the fighter, where he saw those mischievous lavender eyes looking straight back into his soul.

Rose quickly began to hit more buttons, causing the four guns to aim at the hooded creature in front of her while she gritted her teeth together.

As soon as she started to fire, Lev blocked each of the dark red bolts with the force, turned them around, and released them back at the ship.

Rays of light broke through the glass, shattering all of it.

Rose remained unscathed, protecting herself in her own personal bubble created by the magical energy within her.

Lev was tired of her nonsense.

She needed to be dealt with.

He sprinted to the fighter, tearing off the rear door with ease before entering the cargo hold of the fighter.

He quickly climbed up the ladder into the cockpit.

Once inside, he noticed the small woman, and lunged towards her.

From behind, Rose felt two immense arms wrap around her, seemingly crushing every bone in her chest.

Rose let out a whimper, trying to get any amount of air into her system while she thrashed around against him.

"Are you done with your games Rose?" The man stated inside of her head.

Rose remained silent.

At this point, she wanted to die.

Why not?

Her life was already crap.

It has been since the day she was born.

Absolute utter bantha crap.

Lev repeated within her mind, "I said, are you done with your games?"

Rose nodded, and felt the embrace release around her.

She gasped for air while she turned around and looked at the man in front of her.

"HOW DARE YOU HANDLE ME LIKE SOME KIND OF ANIMAL!" Rose's scream echoed throughout the entire hanger as she shoved the tall figure, failing to move him in the process.

"If you didn't leave your cell, we would not have this problem, now would we Rose?" He remarked, looking down at her with his arms crossed.

She pointed right up at him, her finger slightly shaking in anger, "If you didn't invade my home and capture me, then I wouldn't need to escape my cell!"

Oh… Oh okay. She's playing this type of game I see… Lev stated in his consciousness, knowing full well she was not able to read his mind yet.

"Better yet, if your stupid men never bothered me in the first place then I wouldn't need to end their miserable lives!" She continued with rage in her eyes.

"But noooo, they have a 'mission'. A 'mission' that makes them think they are invincible when they're just a piece of meat that follows every one of your orders."

Lev nodded, pretending like he cares what she was saying while humming, "Mhm…" as she ranted on.

"And one of those stupid 'campaigns' made them think it was 'ok' to get a slice of something that they think is theirs's when, in reality, its no ones. Ok? Not even yours. So let me go, so I can go home. I'm tired of this," Rose huffed while coming down from her high horse.

Lev looked around the hanger bay over by the trooper Rose had been with earlier then back over to her, "But it's ok for you to seduce one of my men?"

Rose went to speak before closing her mouth, realizing this was double standards he was trying to hint at. But as always, she needed to have the last word.

She smirked, "Did a pretty good job, didn't I?"

"Well, seeing that it's a part of your so called 'job' I would say you know what you're doing. That's why you've remained undetected for so long." Lev huffed.

Rose shrugged, "Well, most men are easy to manipulate if you know what you're doing. You on the other hand…"

"Would it be more challenging?" Lev suggested.

Rose nodded.

"And why is that?"

Rose scratched the back of her head, "Because you have the same thing I have."

"And that is?" Lev asked, intrigued.

She thought for a moment before saying, "I don't know."

Ohhh for kriff sakes… Lev sighed in his head.

"You seriously don't know?" Lev said while annoyance filled his voice.

She shook her head, 'no'.

"It's called the force Rose."
