Ben woke up and looked around him and saw that he was in a cave behind the bars ben looked behind him and saw that there were some more people besides him.
Ben then panicked remembering that red head 'god if they did anything to her then I'll-" it was the ben spotted her she was unconscious at the back ben ran to their knocking someone aside but ben didn't paid him any attention.
"move" ben said and kneeled beside her and checked her she was breathing and wasn't hurt that badly.
Ben then sat on the ground and let out a breath that he didn't knew that he was holding.
"your friend will be fine" ben looked at the old man who said that "she is just a bit tired, I already healed her, so she should wake up any time now".
Ben nodded at him great fully "thanks, but where are we? what is this place? How did we get here? And who are you?".
"easy" he said "one at a time as for where we are no one knows expect our captors, as for this place" the old man rubbed his beard "no one knows we just know that we are slaves and the people here use us to dig".
Ben got silent, ben leaned back landing on the cold hard floor beside the girl 'well at least I am not dead and charmcaste-no hope and that girl are alight'.
"you look relived" the old man said "you are the first person whom I've met that got relieved to hear that they got kidnaped and became a slave for labor".
What?" ben looked at the old man with mouth agape "I am not, it's horrible".
"is that so" he said.
"it's just that, don't tell anyone but I managed to save a friend from getting captured" ben said smiling a little.
The old man's eyes widened slightly and gave ben a little smile "is that so? Good".
Ben smiled back at him, then heard a groan from his side and turned his head to look at the girl that he rescued and was rescued by then captured with. Now that ben looked at her ben saw her features clearly she had red color hairs and had long eyelashes and a cute face. When she fluttered her eyes open ben found out that she had brown eyes.
When she looked at ben her eyes widened slightly.
"welcome back to the land of the living" ben gave her his signature annoying but confident smirk it always annoyed charmcaster and Gwen.
"who-" she said but then remembered what had happened and how ben had helped her "what happened?".
"look for yourself" ben gestured with his hands to the cell "we got captured" ben said that part a bit sadly.
"what?" she looked around a bit panicky.
looking at her like that ben grabbed her hand before she hurt herself "whoa easy there, you've just woken up if you move that much you'll- " ben didn't get to finish that as she tripped and fell luckily ben managed to catch her.
"you ok?" ben asked she looked at ben a little red and nodded ben gently laid her down and ben too laid down his they really rouged ben up bad his chest still hurt whenever he took a deep breath.
"ahh" ben let out a groan as he laid.
"so" ben began "they didn't hurt you...too much, did they?" ben looked at her and the scratches on her.
"no" she shook her head ben smiled a bit at least she didn't got hurt…too much.
"thanks" ben said "for you know coming back for me".
"its fine" she said "I couldn't just leave you there all alone".
"now that we are on the subject" ben said "what the hell were you thinking, I thought we agreed to slept up" ben yelled at her "not for you to come back running to your doom".
She shrunk beck a but then as if a fire had started within her she said "well I am sorry but I thought that we were splitting up to that the bad guys will split up with us and we will have more chance of survival".
Her voice echoed throughout the chamber as she took a deep breath.
"not that you will lie to me and lure them all away from me" she continued "and fight them all by yourself".
Ben shrunk back for some reason he found her, right now, very scary even scarier than vilgax.
"ah well" ben struggled to complete that sentence.
"well what?" she said.
"now now "the old man said "no need to fight".
Ben looked at the ground he was always like that making plans on his own and running headfirst into danger.
Ben looked at the girl and shook his head, she came back for him she at least deserved an apology.
Ben took a deep breath.
"look I am not the best at saying sorry but I am sorry about lying to you" ben said "and for you know yelling at you".
She looked at him "its fine" she sat down and hugged her knees.
Ben looked at her now relay feeling guilty thinking that she was sad because of him ben didn't knew much about girls so he tried his best.
Ben sat beside her.
"I really am sorry" ben said.
"why did you do it?" she asked.
"do what?" ben asked confused.
"distracted them, took them away from me?".
Ben looked at her sadly "because…I don't know…maybe I didn't wanted you to deal with them...maybe I wouldn't let someone get hurt".
She nodded and went quite.
"well I doesn't matter we are here, captured" she said a few seconds later.
Ben looked at her and back to the ground "at least we are not alone…..we are, well together, you came back for me, now everyone would come back, for that thanks".
She smiled at that and that put a smile on ben's face too at least they had each other they saved each other's life even if it didn't work out but still the gestor was what mattered.
The old man smiled looking at the kids.
Ben looked at him "so what's your story?".
"what?".
"I mean how did you got here?".
"oh well I was too captured like you" he said.
"that so?, what's your name?".
"I am rob" he said.
"that's a weird name" ben said making the old man's eye twitch "but I can work with that".
Ben than looked at the girl "so did you live in the village?".
She nodded.
"really where because I've been living there for 3 years and I've never seen you and trust me I'll remember someone like you" ben said "cause of your hair's and all that".
She looked at ben with a smile "I live in the orphanage at the middle of the village".
"really I too lived at the orphanage, how come I've never seen you" ben said "I mean you are too eye catching, with the hair's and all".
"really?" she asked touching her hairs.
Ben nodded' her hair kind of remind me of Gwen and she remind me of grandpa and my family and oh god don't think about it ben'.
Both ben and charmcaster have been copping up with the fact that they weren't in their home world with no way of going back, it's been 3 years but they couldn't help but remember their time with their family.
"you ok?" the girl asked "you've been staring" she said with a small blush.
"oh" ben said "sorry I was just umm" ben pulled his eyes away from her "I was thinking about your hairs; I mean they are too eye catching".
For some reason she became depressed "what's wrong?".
"I think that's how they found me, you know the cultist" she said gripping her hairs "if I didn't had there-".
"whoa whoa clam down champ" ben said "they are fine, the cultist would found you anyway even if you didn't have the hairs remember why you got captured, its because you came back to save me not because of your hairs and remember when I found you it was because I noticed your hairs that's why I managed to spot you in the middle of all that chaos".
Ben then gentle stroked her hairs "if it weren't for that then it would've taken me much more time to find you and who knows what would've happed maybe they would've captured you and left by the time I've come around, so in a strange way we both owe your hairs our life and not to mention that we would've never met if they weren't red".
Ben took a deep breath that was a long sentence but then he heard a chuckle which turned into a small laughter.
He looked at the girl and saw that she had covered her mouth "what?" ben asked.
"its nothing, its just that I haven't seen anyone this serious about my hairs well no hairs for that matter" she said.
Ben blushed heavily 'idiot now I look like a dumb kid'.
"haha" ben chuckled nervously "sorry about I haven't been myself lately with all this going around".
Ben scratched his head while chuckling nervously.
"no its fine" she said "I haven't heard anyone praise my hairs".
Ben looked at her and said "I guess that I'll be your first then".
She nodded with a smile "yes".
"your hair's are really pretty you know" ben said looking at the cave walls with his eyes.
"right" she said looking down.
"so what's your name" she asked.
"oh me I am ben" ben said "and you?".
"Erza" she said.
Ben nodded "that's a good name" ben said 'unlike mine, I'll never tell anyone my full name'.
She nodded with a small smile.
Then that leaned on the stone walls and fell asleep side by side.
Rob smiled looking at the two kids 'at least there is some light in this cave'.
When ben came to he felt his legs heavy he rubbed his eyes and looked down.
'oh it's just her' ben thought looking at the red head 'I guess she too was tired'.
Ben looked at her she really was cute that even someone like ben who had no interest in girls was a bit attracted to her ok maybe more than a bit, ben gently stroked her head and raised his head and looked at the ceiling.
'hope where ever you are I'll find you, I really hope that you take a different choice now, please if those years we spent together mean anything to you'.
Ben then raised his left arm 'omnitrix, how long will it take you to work' ben looked at the watch and saw that it was blue colored with a little pink appearing occasionally.
Ben then looked Erza 'I'll get you out' and then at the others 'and you all'.
Ben thought to his last failure to help someone it was one year after he and charmcaster were in this world, they had decided to split up and search for whatever they could find while there bodied were of children their mind was not, ben had been a hero since 10 and charmcaster was a teenager and she too had fought her own share of enemies.
It was a snowy day ben had found a person in horrible condition so he healed them with what little knowledge charmcaster had taught him.
Later he found out that they were looking for their family and ben who had just lost his decided to help them his hero instincts were telling him to help this person.
Three months later they found them but it didn't go as ben had imagined.
"ahh" ben was pulled out of his dream and looked at Erza who was coming around.
He smiled "morning, sunshine" the old ladies at the orphanage always said that to him whenever he woke up and it kind of annoyed him a bit but he didn't show it cause the last time he threw a tantrum, Hope was kind of mad ever since then he had cut on annoying people.
She looked at him and then a second later smiled "morning".
Ben was a bit disappointed she was not annoyed 'well there goes my dose of entertainment' ben thought.
Then she looked up at ben wondering how did he got do tall but then realized that she had her head on ben's chest and was hugging him she got red in the face and got up.
"well" rob said "it looks like you tow are awake".
"yep" ben said.
"well then get ready cause it starts now" he said with serious face "follow me, don't do anything else, do as I do and no talking no staring".
They both got quite.
And nodded after a few seconds.
"hey hurry up" a sadistic voice told them.
Ben looked and saw the same masked men who had burned his village to the ground.
Ben felt Erza tighten her hold on ben's left arm ben looked at her and smiled.
"don't worry I won't let anyone hurt you" ben said "promise".
She looked at ben and nodded.
"me too".
'charm- I mean Hope wherever you are I hope that you are safe' and walked forward.
Rosemary village.
One day after the attack.
Charmcaster was bandaging her leg and the other girl was helping her.
"so" charmcaster said "what will you do now".
"I" she slutterd "I, I want find my brother".
"that so" she said " I too want to find my aquant-no" she closed her eyes "my friend".
"my only friend in the world" she said and remembered what ben had told her.
"do you want to come with me?" she asked "cause if you do then you better not ben dead weight".
The little girl nodded.
"so what's your name?".
"kagura mikazuchi" she said.
"well kagura, as we are now we won't find them, not to mention that we are week" she got up and dusted her cloths "we will need food, shelter, and power".
She looked at her in the eye "a lot of power".
She turned to look at sunrise "and I know how to get it, come on".
"we will look for them; we will get strong so that something like this never happens again".
"you with me?" she asked "I am charmcaster and nobody gets away with hurting my friend, especially that doofus".
The young kagura nodded and took charmcaster's left hand and walked away with her.
