"Tiger! Don't do it!" (White Tiger POV)
The words echoed through White Tiger's mind as if she were a cave. The anger made her oblivious to her surroundings and all she could currently feel was anger. Blood red burning anger. She had her claw primed and aimed straight towards the man's neck. At any second she could kill him right there and then.
Those four words had caused her to stop for a few seconds. She regained control from the tiger. She breathed in heavily and turned towards the voice. She could smell his scent, taste his fear and only imagine his look.
Peter Parker was standing there, fully dressed into his worn out Spider-Man outfit. It had numerous tears and scrapes from the previous fight. Kraven had managed to get a few attacks off them. He had his hands raised in a non threatening way. He was slowly walking towards her and gazing deep into her eyes.
His presence alone was intoxicating. The young man had become quite the source of comfort for her and even now he tried his best to help her.
Tiger noticed his appearance and growled. She was long and lost to the amulet. The rock glowed a green light unseen before by anyone. Her other hand was resting on his shoulder. Her muscles were aching and twitching. At any moment she was ready to deliver the killing blow.
(Peter POV)
"Tiger... I know your in there. This isn't you. This isn't what your father fought and died for. Your in there but you need to take control. Your a hero, a straight A student. Not this killer!"
His voice had come out as pleading and calm. His honest worries were about her. These past few months he had grown to care about her. Yes they irritated each other often but out of that they had a growing mutual respect for each other.
He could remember all the countless times she criticised his fighting style or just him in general. Though he never took it to heart, which annoyed her more, he understood the reasons eventually.
All she wanted was the best for him. He wanted the same.
"Tiger...you know what happened to my Uncle Ben. The night he was murdered and I wasn't there to save him. I'm here now. I won't let someone else I lov... care for get taken away again."
He slowly edged a few feet towards her and could sense her hesitation. She was considering his words and her grip released slightly. She was panting as if she ran a marathon. In reality it was her in shock. Breathing in and out quickly as her mind was racing.
Her voice came aggressively, "Stand back Spider-Man. I know what needs to be done. He must die."
Spider-man nodded his head slowly and raised his hands towards her. "I know what he did to you. To your father. Please. We can work together to avenge all of this. But not like this."
He could of sworn that she was in that moment shaking. It was as if fear was coursing through her body.He wasn't used to seeing her in fear. It was a weird new feeling. Shortly after she became solid again and turned towards Kraven.
She raised her claws and pulled Kraven closer. "I'm sorry Kraven. Time for your retirement."
(Spiderman POV)
His body reacted much faster than her claws did. He shot a ball of web that knocked her hand away midair. He then proceeded to shoot two lines of webbing behind her into a tree. Using his unnatural strength, he propelled himself forward and in a split second he collided with Tiger.
It took all of his power to restrain her arms while he remained on top of her. She was rabid. Her arms were trying desperately to free themselves from their prison.
"Listen to me! Tiger it's me! Peter!"
His cries were desperate and he tried to reach out to her. It didn't work. Though he could sense that she hesitated slightly, this soon was replaced by a growl.
She broke free and grabbed him by the neck. The force applied had taken the air out of his mouth. She turned 180 degrees and threw him down to the ground. She raised her foot up and stepped down. He just narrowly rolled out of the way. She got down on all fours and growled louder than before.
He jumped up and clenched his fists. He shot a web at her eyes. She ducked at the last moment and pounced towards him. He shot multiple shots but every single one of them missed.
She stopped and struck her deadly claws for his body. Every strike he dodged but didn't strike back. He did a back flip and shot a webbing at her body. He pulled her up and passed him. Once she passed him, he kicked her higher up and landed on the ground. He shot webbing at her face to blind her.
When both of her arms reached up to rip of the webs he acted. He shot multiple pieces of webbing that connected her elbows together. He did the same with her legs which bought him enough time for his next move.
Once it was done he jumped up and grabbed her when(still in midair)she was a few feet off from the ground. He placed her down and continued to cacoon her.
"This is for your own good Tiger!"
This would hold her for now. She squirmed a little, desperately trying to get free. Her feral side was in full control now. Spider-man applied the final touches and walked over to Kraven.
Kraven chuckled slightly which made the web head angry.
"What's so funny Kraven?"
(Kraven POV)
That little brat is tied up and my other prey is standing unarmed, right infront of me.
Kraven used his knife to cut the binds but did so slowly and covertly. He made sure not to get Spider-Man's attention.
"The power in that amulet. It has consumed her. Rabid like an animal and dangerous like a hunter. Better put a leash on her."
He must of made him angry because he felt a fist connect with his jaw. Kraven pulled back and smiled. Another punch.
This time he stopped smiling and stared into the costume's eyes. Seriousness crept into his voice and he spat on the ground.
"The animal is out of control. Unless you cage it... She will be a danger to us all." came Kraven's hunter voice.
Spider-Man got angry as it seemed and held Kraven by his throat. He said dryly, "Your the reason she was robbed of someone special. I want her to have her revenge but that isn't the Spidey way."
Spider-man chuckled slightly and turned around.
"Plus she is all tied up so relax," he said with pure confidence. He turned and gazed at her spot. Only webs layed there. He turned back to Kraven and smiled. Then he jumped in his boots and turned back around. She was gone!
It seemed that the spider was searching as if his eyes were failing him. This white tiger was a good hider. He remembered her father very well. He was a fascinating prey to kill. This one proved more...resilient.
Finding the first White Tiger was easy but taking him down was harder. This brat has nowhere near the same power as he did.
Kraven sensed the fear in Spider-Man and used this distraction to cut himself free from his hold. He lunged forward and raised his knife. Ready for the kill.
Kraven felt himself being pulled back. His weight went off the Earth and collided solidly with the ground. The knife slided across the floor and out of his reach. He felt a soaring pain in his chest. Every nerve was on fire.
Two yellow eyes were fixed on his pupils and the unmistakable hand of his earlier prey now silently rested on his mouth. He gasped in reluctant fear and went still.
"Hands off my Spidey!"
(POV White tiger)Two minutes earlier:
From the nearby tree she had been observing the two. Her feral instincts had kicked in and all of her willpower was gone. She was the tiger.
She looked at the red and blue clothed man and licked her lips. The amulet was causing her natural desires to dominate. Her mind was racing as all she could think about was the web head. One of her closest friends. And now that there were no boundaries... she could take him and mark him with her claws.
She always felt... more about him. Though they were strictly professional and teammates, she noticed how close they were getting. Was it love? She didn't know.
Then some thing caught her attention.
She noticed Kraven break free and approached from behind him. She refused to let this murderer live any longer than he had to.
(Spider-Man POV)
Spider-Man turned around and was shocked. On the ground layed a small blade. How didn't his spider sense go off?Even more alarming was that Kraven was on the ground and an angry tiger was holding him down.
"Wait... Did she say my Spidey!?"
A/N hey guys this is my first official fanfiction. I have always loved Peter x Ava ships and I'm really hoping to make a good impression.
This will be a short story with roughly five chapters. It is meant to explore their bond and show what they have for each other. Their passion and love. I hope you enjoy. Gonna spend the next two days writing chapter 2 and most likely in more days update both chapters.
Enjoy!
