Pietro heard his alarm go off with a jolt. It was he and his sister's first day of school. Fuck. He got out of bed and got dressed, but when he stepped out he didn't see his sister anywhere so he knocked on the door, and heard muffled sobs coming from her room, so he walked in and saw Wanda curled up in her blanket crying in her sleep, he immediately rushed over to her and shook her awake, and when she woke, she lunged into his arms, and started crying. He just held her close before she eventually calmed down and got ready herself. When Wanda finished getting ready and met her brother at the breakfast table, she sat down and said groggily,
"I really don't feel like going to school today."
"Get ready for a lot of that." Peter chimed in. Well this was going to be a day.
For the most part, the school day went pretty well as the twins had almost all of their classes together except last period, where Wanda had math and Pietro had social studies.
"Don't worry, you'll do great sestra." Wanda wasn't so sure. Last period was going well, as Peter was in the class as well, so that was a plus, but since it was the first day of school and everyone had to come up to the board, and when it was Wanda's turn she started talking and then some rich looking kid said,
"Go back to where you came from you stupid bitch. Oh wait, your city fucking fell on its fucking face."
"Flash, how can you be talking when your hair looks like a fucking burnt tumbleweed." Peter rubbutaled in defense of Wanda before the teacher told both of the boys to stay after class for detention. After the bell rang, Peter was walking to the study hall for detention, when Wanda came up to him and said,
"Thanks for sticking up for me back there. And, sorry you got detention."
"No problem Wands, and Flash has been annoying me for basically my entire school life, and it gave me an opportunity to give him what for." He then had to go for detention, and after he entered the study hall, Pietro came up to Wanda and asked how last period went, and she replied,
"Oh it's a long story."
