Zoro stayed hidden as the marine ship came closer. He tucked the transponder snails in his haramaki and changed his position to a crouch. With one hand on his sword, Zoro waited. There was no need to tell Sanji about what was going on, not if there were only a few soldiers that came aboard.

Gold eyes watched the rails of the Sunny as the marine ship's shadow covered the deck. He could hear the soldiers as they ran around. Zoro could imagine most of them getting into position to board.

"There doesn't appear to be anyone aboard the ship, sir." one of the soldiers said. He heard steps walk closer and saw a small shadow appear for a moment. Zoro assumed that it was the captain of the ship.

"It may appear that way," The rough voice paused for a second. "But we can never be too sure. Prepare to board the ship."

As the steps retreated, a chorus of yessirs could be heard. The sound of feet scrambling could be heard a moment after. Zoro gritted his teeth. He had hoped, on the off chance that they saw nothing, that they would just leave. Gold eyes continued to glare at the deck boards as he waited and listened. He could feel that familiar tug of irritation pull at his mind but he chose to ignore it. Whenever he listened to that feeling, he ended up in a brutal, drawn out battle. Something that he had absolutely no time to deal with right now.

Hearing a hard knock on the ship rails a few feet away, Zoro leaned toward the general area it had come from. The soldiers must have let down their ladders and set up some planks to board. A few moments later, Zoro only confirmed his theory. The moment he saw two soldiers jump on board, he readied his stance to pounce on them. A moment later, however, two other soldiers joined them and the amount of footsteps Zoro heard above him increased. His brows scrunched up. It sounded like more than he thought but he let that thought go a moment later when a soldier began to turn his way. In that very instance, Zoro leapt forward, knocking the soldier out while slicing the two that were in front of him. As they fell forward on their face, lifeless, Zoro charged at the remaining soldier in front of him, fully aware that more were coming behind him.

Zoro ran through the enemy's quickly. Already, there had been about 25 that he had crossed swords with. Another came charging at him from in front, while two tried to get him from behind with swords. Changing his stance, he sent them all flying in one go. More soldiers came at him as he went. Some had taken to higher grounds to try and shoot at him while he fought. The captain, through all of this, had not appeared once. Zoro didn't have time to wonder what that could mean. He was starting to get dizzy again and he almost felt like he was slowing down. Almost.

After a few minutes, the deck was littered with marines. Zoro looked around the deck as he tried to catch his breath. There was no movement but it was too quiet. His eyes lingered on the marines' ship. The captain still had not made an appearance. Should he go on board to find him? Keeping his eyes glued to the ship, Zoro made his way across the Sunny. He checked the space between the ships and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Looking towards the harbor, he could see that the other ships hadn't moved. He also couldn't see any more ships coming towards the island, but that wasn't saying much considering that the weather was too cloudy to see much of anything. Taking a deep breath, Zoro calmed his breathing. He watched the ship as he cautiously placed each sword in his haramaki. Zoro took a quick scan of the Sunny one more time before boarding the marine ship.

Zoro wandered along the deck for a moment before descending into the bunkers. There were no soldiers in sight. It didn't seem that smart to send all the soldiers over at once but that was exactly what their captain had done. Zoro clenched his fists at his sides. What kind of captain discards his men into battle without even going in himself?

At the end of the hall, there was a door that had the marine sign on it. Placing a hand on his sword, Zoro moved towards the door and opened it slowly. Inside, there was nothing other than a cluttered room with documents. He made his way in slowly, looking around for any signs of the captain's departure. On the desk, a cord was covered by papers and Zoro went to it. Uncovering it, he gritted his teeth and threw the snail against the wall, breaking it. It was the emergency snail that the marines used. Not only did that mean that the captain phoned the headquartes about them, but the fact that the stupid camera caught his face only confirmed that the strawhats were who the call was about.

Hearing a creak, Zoor turned around fast. He hissed as he felt a sharp cut on his cheek before he felt liquid trickle down from it. In front of him stood the captain he was looking for, shaking and holding a gun.

"Don't move!"

Zoro glared at the man. Did he seriously think the gun scared him or was he stupid? He took a step forward and the marine shouted again.

"I said don't move." His voice shook. "I mean it!"

Zoro smiled. "Or what?"

The captain's eyes glanced all around the room. He saw the green haired man's boot move and he shot the space next to it his shoe before pointing it back at the man. " I've already called back up so you should just give it up."

Zoro raised an eyebrow. "You mean the transponder snail? The headquarters won't send anyone in time."

The captain smiled shakily back. "Who said anything about headquarters? My men will be boarding their ships and coming down the harbor any minute now. "

Zoro frowned slightly and sighed. It looked like he wouldn't be getting a break like he thought. Turning back towards the captain, he responded.

"That's unfortunate." He tilted his head. "Because now I'm in a bad mood." And with that, Zoro quickly withdrew his sword and struck the man with it. A moment later, he was racing down the hall and up to the deck. Once he was out, he went to the rail and looked towards the dock. Sure enough, there were about two ships already on the move and others were still boarding. Zoro gripped the rail until his knuckles turned white. A moment later, he jumped over the rail and landed on the Sunny. Moving quickly, he took out the transponder snail, all the while, he moved towards the latch that Franky had made temporarily.

"Hey,"

Zoro clenched his teeth at the sound of Sanji's voice but didn't say anything.

"Zoro?"

He could hear the concern in his voice and he hated that he was only going to add to it.

"Sanji," Zoro grunted as he moved the latch as best as he could to cover the stairs to the lower level. "I need you to listen to me. We have a problem." Zoro locked the hatch into place. Taking a breath he continued. "The members are having trouble on the island, and right now, we have two, if not more, marine ships coming to the Sunny. I need you to take the twins and hide while we get this under control."

Sanji sat staring off towards the wall. He looked at the transponder snail and gripped it tighter. "What? What are you saying?"

"Sanj-"

"What do you mean the crews in trouble on the island., And what about you? You're in no condition to be fighting on your own." Sanji got up and moved towards the door. "I'm coming up to help."

"Don't you dare!" Sanji flinched at the venomous tone. "Don't you dare leave our kids in danger, Sanji."

Sanji ran a hand through his hair. He looked towards the twins. "What am I supposed to do then, Zoro?"

"You're going to stay below deck and hide with the kids." There was a pause. "The crew is making their way back as fast as they can and I'll hold them off in my condition as fast as I can . But Sanji, you have to keep them safe. You can't let anyone get near them."

Sanji could hear the desperation in Zoro's voice. Sanji sighed and responded. "Got it." He let the tone go dead, before calling it back.

"He-"

"I love you." Sanji said through the mic. "And I'll kiss the twins for you."

Without giving him a chance to respond, Sanji hung up the transponder snail. He didn't expect Zoro to say it back and that was fine. He quickly put the transponder snail away as he looked at the twins. Where could he hide with them? Staying in the room was out of the question. They needed a different spot. Sanji glanced around the room while he thought. Not only would he need to hide the twins, he'd also have to find a way to keep their noise level to a minimum. Swearing, he decided to just have faith in his kids and the small ounce of quietness they must have gotten from him. If that didn't work, hopefully their sleeping habits from Zoro would kick in.

Grabbing a bag, Sanji started piling some toys, bottles and pampers in the bag. He slung it over his shoulder before kneeling in front of the twins with his arms stretched out.

"You wanna go somewhere with daddy?" He asked. The twins clapped at him happily before trying to get to him. Sanji wasted no time and scooped them up in his arms. He hissed as he felt a sting from his wrist but quickly changed his expression to a smile when the twins looked up at him.

Exiting the room, Sanji made his way quickly down the halls. He kept listening for any footsteps behind him and heard none. Instead, he could hear some thuds and bangs from above, accompanied by some shouts. He tried to keep his mind on the task at hand as he started glancing around at the different doors.

The sleeping bunkers were out of the question, as well as Chopper's office and Franky's workplace. He passed a few storage rooms and crossed them out as well. Rounding a corner, Sanji stopped and backed up for a moment. One of the doors was ajar and he peeked in. He raised an eyebrow at the various gadgets around. He had forgotten that Usopp had talked franky into making a room just for him to create more gadgets in. He stood in the doorway a moment longer before pushing the door closed . He wouldn't mess with Usopp's area but it did give him a good idea. He rushed forward, commending himself for coming up with such a good hiding spot. It was hidden out of the way and the last place you would expect anyone to , it wasn't the safest, but it would have to do.

The marine ships were approaching quickly, shooting cannon balls as they got closer. Zoro dashed across the deck and split one of the shots in half, letting the halves fall on either side of the ship. He let out a breath as he ran to another part of the deck to ricochet a shot towards the oncoming ships. When another shot came towards him. Zoro wobbled a bit on his approach but was able to knock it away still. He cursed under his breath and repositioned himself. It would take less than 3 minutes for the ships to reach the Sunny. Glancing at the entryway to the lower deck, Zoro hoped it would be enough to hold them off until the crew returned. Turning back towards the front of the ship, Zoro tried to focus on the ships. His vision doubled for a moment, making him shut his eyes tightly and shake his head. Focusing ahead once again, Zoro readied himself. He wouldn't let a single marine get to the lower deck.

Nami ran close behind Luffy as the marines began to close in on them. She created thunder clouds to cover their rear while Luffy pushed through the marines at their front. They had successfully drawn attention to themselves and were leading the marines away from Enel. She swung her staff hard as a marine tried to attack her from the side, causing him to fall into another soldier. Turning back to the front, Nami tried to look ahead of them. She couldn't make out how far they were from the dock. She gritted her teeth before yelling out to Luffy.

"We gotta hurry, Luffy!" She started surrounding them with more thunder clouds.

" I know." Luffy screamed back. He stretched and swung his arm at a few more soldiers in front of them before glancing around. They had distracted the marines enough for Enel.

Pulling his arm back, he grabbed the roof of a building some feet in front of them. Grabbing a surprised Nami, he propelled them away from the marines. On the roof, they ran quickly. The marines tried to follow, but the thunder clouds activated at the right moment, knocking most of the group out. The few that remained tried their best to keep up with the two strawhats.

Nami glanced around, searching for any of the members now that they had the advantage of height. Off to the side, She saw a giant cloud of smoke appear in an alley. Just when she was about to turn away, a certain long nosed sharpshooter with a pretty full backpack slid from the alley, almost crashing into a group of people on the main road. He straightened himself quickly before running at top speed forward. Looking a little harder, she could faintly see their medic hanging onto the backpack.

"Usopp! Chopper!" Nami yelled out, waving at them.

Luffy turned to their direction too with a large smile. Grabbing a surprised Nami's arm, Luffy jumped down next to their other two crewmates.

"Hey Guys!" Luffy said with a big smile.

"Now's not the time to be smiling, Luffy!" Usopp yelled back. A bullet zipped past them a moment later, causing Chopper and Usopp to yell and run quicker.

Luffy just smiled more, happy he found some more crew members. He ran forward faster to keep the pace with them.

Nami tried to get her arm out of Luffy's grip but gave up a moment later. As great as this was, she hated when he got too excited and dragged her along. Hearing marines shouting, she waved her clima-tact, creating mirages of the crew. While they were distracted, she let some thunder clouds drift around them. At the front, a large group of marines charged forward. Usopp used his slingshot, knocking back a few soldiers, while Luffy used a Jet pistol on the others.

As they ran past the fallen soldiers, an arm reached out and grabbed Nami's ankles. She fell forward, pulling Luffy back and making him fall as well. As she lifted her head, she turned to see the marine point his gun at her. Before he could pull the trigger, tanned hands appeared and grabbed the man. A moment later, a crunch was heard.

Nami got up with Luffy just in time to see Robin approaching them. She smiled at them before looking back in the direction she came from. "We should hurry," She turned back forward. "There's more coming."

The members nodded their heads as they started running again.

After running through the town, the group finally got to the dock. The amount of soldiers that were chasing them seemed to increase gradually as time passed. Fighting them began to take too long, so the strawhats opted for taking short cuts, whether it was alleys or roof tops. It was their fastest way to get away and back to the Sunny.

Nami looked out towards the shore and noticed dark clouds approaching. Cursing, she scanned the dock for the Sunny. "We have to get to the Sunny before that storm hits."

Usopp looked out at the clouds. They were a little dark but nothing to be frightened about. "It doesn't look too bad." He commented.

"For now," she moved around to lead the crew down the dock. "But the closer they get, the worse they'll look. If we get stuck in that storm, we'll be stuck here for a few more days."

She jogged ahead of them, moving out of the way of some of the townspeople. She could see a bunch of ships together further up. Counting them, she stopped. There were at least 6 or 7 marine ships. She looked ahead and saw Franky and Brook running towards the ships. Turning back to the crew, she told them that they had to hurry.

It didn't take long to catch up to the cyborg and skeleton. The crew said nothing as they ran as fast as they could. It didn't take long for Luffy to see the railings of the Sunny appear in sight. Stretching an arm out, Luffy quickly gripped the rail with one hand and used his other arm to wrap around the crew members. Before they could make a retort to the sudden move, they were being launched through the air , landing rather hard onto the deck of the Sunny.

Luffy was the first to recover, looking around the Deck for Zoro. He spotted the swordsman and was stunned for a moment. Zoro's clothes were ripped in various places, blood was running dow his arms and his forehead. More blood could be seen through the slits of his clothes. Luffy saw Zoro wobble before blocking an attack at the latch before attacking a soldier flanking his other side. Looking at his eyes, Luffy noticed that they were cloudy. In an instance, anger took over.

Luffy extended both of his arms outward, pushing the soldiers off the ship on either side. Turning back to the still disheveled crew members, he yells out to them.

"Get the Sunny moving! Hurry!" He runs past them as more soldiers try to make it on board.

Chopper makes his way to Zoro while the others work on getting the sails up. Franky takes a look out at the shore as he successfully gets a sail open, feeling the Sunny move a little. He notices dark clouds coming closer and yells out to Nami.

"Should we be worried about that?!" He screams across the deck as he moves to help Usopp with the bigger sail.

Nami took a look out into the distance, noticing that the clouds were moving much quicker than she had anticipated. Turning to Franky, she yells back. "We're gonna need a Coup, Franky."

"Coming right up," He yells, running to remove the latch door. He glances at the injured Zoro as he pull the side of the door. Usopp appears a moment later, cutting off his line of sight. "I'll help."

It didn't take more than a few seconds before the latch was moved and the two members made their way into the lower deck. Robin positioned herself at the head of the deck after helping with the sails. She watched the other ships anxiously. She wondered how much longer it would be before she was fully drained. Just escaping the island was starting to take a toll on her. Whenever she saw a soldier, she caught them before they could jump over. Luffy stopped any of the soldiers that had weapons and even destroyed one of their ships. He seemed to not want to leave the deck of the Sunny to destroy the marine ships like usual. Robin couldn't help but smile at the mature act of her captain.

Usopp and Franky ran through the lower deck fast. Franky calculated the amount of cola he had in his head. They had enough for two Coups, so hopefully they wouldn't need anymore until they reached the next island. When they got to the Weapons room, Franky opened the door quickly only to stop in place. Usopp looked around the cyborg's body to see the reason that he stopped. In front of them, stood Sanji, who was crouching in front of the twins who were sleeping soundly on a blanket. He sighed and relaxed his posture once he realized it was his crewmates. Franky took another second to recover before going around them to stage the Coup.

Sanji let out a sigh and turned to the twins. "How's everything out there?"

Usopp gulped. "Everything's fine. It's fine."

Sanji turned to the long nosed man with a raised eyebrow. "You sure?"

Usopp smiled shakily. "Yup. Super sure. Everythings great." Turning away from the cook, he crouched down near the kids. "They sure do sleep like Zoro, huh?"

Sanji Sat back on his heels . "Uhuh." He stared at Usopp. "And Zoro?"

Usopp froze for a moment. "Zoro? What about Zoro?"

"How is he?" Sanji asked.

Usopp thought of how Zoro looked at the moment. "He's standing on his two feet."

"Huh?" Sanji asked."

"I mean, he's fine." Usopp said. "Maybe we should put them in their cribs now."

Sanji stared a moment longer before nodding. Him and Usopp each picked up one of the twins and made their way towards the room. Sanji walked a little behind, staring at Usopp's head. He knew something had to be going on up on deck. Why else would they have to stage a Coup?
