Mount Myōboku.
It's the land of toads and the place where all those that summon toads. It is home for huge and small toads alike. Mount Myōboku is a rich and beautiful land, whose ultimate authority seems to be the Great Toad Sage. One of the big three unexplored sage regions, a legendary place that is equally as famous as the other two, Shikkotsu Forest and Ryūchi Cave.
For a human to get to Mount Myōboku, it either takes a month long travel on secret paths from Konohagakure or, if they have a summoning contract, they can let a toad use the Reverse Summoning Technique. According to Fukasaku, Mount Myōboku is impossible to find by foot for those who don't know the secret route.
That was normally the case though there were exceptions to the this rule where human managed to make their way their through other means somehow. One example of was young boy was transported to Mount Myōboku via using the summoning technique without a contract.
Although this was a different case as what appear to be teenaged human girl with red hair just walked into their village one day with dazed look on her face. She did not seem aware of her surrounding at first as she just seem to walk forward before snapping out her whatever trance she had been under.
At first she was rather shocked to see the toads of Myobouku. Claiming that she would like some hot water which she then shocked them all but throwing it on herself. After repeating this a few time they prevented her from do it anymore as she was going to burn herself if she kept going like that.
Seemed like she was under a curse of some kind that made it so that she needed the hot water to undo it until she was splashed with cold water. Thus it was a endless cycle where she was not treating the root of the problem.
Offering up a chance to undo this curse for good, she was offered a chance at learning how to focus natural energy thus becoming a sage capable of many things. Undoing this curse she was under being one of them.
The toads were not doing this merely because she had a curse as they saw that while not a ninja herself she was very fluent in seeming various forms of taijustu include their own Toad Sage Fist despite not being a sage herself at the time. Managing to replicate the style to degree using her own.
She was taken to the a sacred fountain on that produces a special oil which allows people to feel the natural energy around them more easily, but if the person is not perfectly still when becoming one with nature, he or she starts becoming a toad and eventually turns into stone.
Not sacred of the danger the red hair girl attempted to become a sage and she was not making much progress at all. Despite how much she tired to do so it never really worked out as she had to be saved from becoming toad statue every time she tried.
Than there was one day that she snuck away to train on their own. The toads noticed she had done this when they saw vortex raising up into the sky from the sacred fountain. One where they rushed to see what had happened on to discovered the statue of the red hair girl that was mimicking the toad statues around her.
It seems that vortex was probably from her as what they guessed was a last ditch effort to prevent herself from becoming a toad statue. Though it worked in preventing her from being a toad it failed in keeping her from becoming a statue though.
Thus she was placed along side of the others that had failed to become a sage as well. She deserved the same respect they had gave to everyone else that attempt to become a sage but fail in the process.
This where the red hair teenager would remain for nearly 15 years retaining her human form the entire time until another human teenager came to attempt and become a sage themselves.
