The Wall
"Aly!" Kel screamed, "Alan here says hat you almost drowned my new cat in the stream."
"Well, Alan here is wrong. It was probably him 'cause if you haven't noticed we're twins," Aly said grabbing Alan's face and pulling it down to show the resemblance between them. "Do you notice anything here," she said waving a hand at here brother's face.
Keladrin of Mindelan was Alianne of Pirate's Swoop and Olau's best friend. Secretly, Kel was in love with Aly's brother Alan of Pirate's Swoop, but wasn't sure Alan felt that way about her. Alan knew how Kel felt about him and took advantage of it.
"Oh really," Kel said scowling at her friend, "well then how come I saw you running from the stream a minute ago?"
"Because I was trying to figure out what Alan was doing with you're cat," Aly retorted.
"You don't really believe her do you?" Alan said looking hurt. "Of course not, she's lying I can tell," Kel replied, overconfident.
"You don't know how wrong you are," Aly replied confident she knew what was going on here.
"Well I know just how to settle this," Alan said whispering in Kel's ear.
later
"Alan, put me down," Aly said calmly, "Alan now."
"Go on Alan, hoist her over," Kel said with an evil grin.
Alan hoisted his sister over the curtain wall of Pirate's Swoop, the Emerald Ocean far, far below.
"Alan, you know what I could do to you," Aly said beginning to get angry ant her brother and friend.
"Aly, you know I could drop you," Alan said eyeing his grip on his sister.
"Alan, you've been warned," with that Aly swung back and kicked of the wall. She did a back flip in mid-air and hit Alan square in the nose with her foot and Kel with her fist. Aly landed neatly on the walkway behind them, "That ought to teach you two to hang me over a wall again," she smiled, turned and strolled away.
