This is the poem I wrote right before starting Scrambled Eggs. Call it an obligato.
Seeky
Fragile Things
How does one judge the start of a moment?
Is it by each drop of rain?
Or by the passing clouds?
You gave me the answer,
When you asked me a question.
Do you really love me?
And I answered,
And it felt as if a new moment
Had just begun.
Or a new eternity?
Wherefore the difference between?
And you fell into my arms
For just a moment
I wondered what might have happened
If I had said no.
Your heart.
Fragile things.
Well, there you have it. Obligato to Scrambled Eggs. This is Seeky Wolf, signing out.
