Summary: Hermione remembers Draco Malfoy.

Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me, in your memory

Hermione stood at along the edge of the castle's walkway as she looked down at the snow-covered courtyard. The wind swept her heavy cloak around her as her eyes remained focused on a particular figure that stood in the middle of the large courtyard. Both of her hands were at her chest with one holding on tightly to the locket she had since the Christmas of her seventh year. As a matter of fact it was from the man who stood and was staring up at her.

Remember, when your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
Just remember me

His silvery-blond whipped around him as a nearly man spoke out loud but neither of them were listening. The large area had many people there and a few magical creatures there as well. But all of that was forgotten to the former lovers. For they knew it was the last time that they would see each other again. The cold air froze her but the pain in her heart made her face stone. She was not going to be weak because he had made her weak once and she vowed to never let that happen again. He may still have her heart but she would not give him her soul.

I am the one star that keeps burning, so brightly,
It is the last light, to fade into the rising sun

Following the orders he was given, Draco Malfoy bravely went to one knee on the fallen snow at his feet. Hermione closed her eyes as her fingers went over every detail of the silver locket he had given her. On the oval shaped locket there was the symbol of his constellation etched onto the front with the words 'Remember me' on the back. Tears threatened to flow as she remembered the good memories that they shared at the private moments before they pulled apart and stood on opposite sides of the war.

I'm with you
Whenever you tell, my story

Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me, in your memory
Remember me

The Draco Malfoy that was kneeling was not the same Draco that she had fallen in love with, which she still loved. The Draco that spent nights holding her, laughing at her silly habits and that once said that he loved her was not Draco Malfoy, the Death Eater. He was not Draco Malfoy, who killed Neville Longbottom at the front line of the final battle. That cold-hearted man, who was looking up to her, was not the person who saved her life at the same battle from the killing curse by his aunt. No, in her mind they were two different people. But both were about to be gone forever.

I am the one voice in the cold wind, that whispers
And if you listen, you'll hear me call across the sky

As long as I still can reach out, and touch you
Then I will never die

The clocked dung twelve times as her memories, hopes, and dreams of the Draco Malfoy came to a halt when she heard his scream as he received his punishment for the crimes that the Death Eater Draco Malfoy committed during the war. At midnight at cold December night, the holder of her heart received the Dementor's Kiss and took her hopes for true happiness with his soul. Forever.

Remember, I'll never leave you
If you will only
Remember me

Remember me...

Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory

Remember, when your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
I live forever
Remember me

Remember me
Remember... me...
