"Ughh… where are we?"
That was the first thing Korekiyo Shinguji could think when he pulled himself off the ground.
"What the hell happened? Where is everyone?" an equally-confused Mondo Owada asked.
Kokichi Oma laughed, somehow already on his feet. "Well, then!" he exclaimed. "This place is certainly odd."
"You don't freakin' say," Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu muttered. "Where'd Monokuma send us?"
Kiyotaka Ishimaru shrugged. "I'm drawing a blank. Pretty sure Mondo is, too."
"As are we," Kiyo said uneasily. How was he supposed to complete his mission now?
"This place is really big," Ibuki Mioda commented. "Don't you guys think so?"
"Yeah," Taka said, looking around. "Who are all these people?"
"I don't freaking know," Mondo replied. "They look like they walked out of a rainbow factory or somethin'."
The teenagers passing had technicolor hair, true to what Mondo was saying.
"Um, I think it's more of a concern that they're all staring at us?" Kokichi commented. "Just sayin'."
Sure enough, every student was eying the six Killing Game Participants oddly.
"Whaaat?" Ibuki asked. "Do I have something on my face?"
"No, stupid," Kokichi corrected. "They're looking at us weird because we probably just popped up out of nowhere."
Kiyo looked around. "It appears we're at a school?"
"It's a pretty big school," Fuyuhiko commented. "Hey, who are all of you? Besides Mioda-chan, of course."
"Oh! I'm Kiyotaka Ishimaru," Taka replied, starting the introductions. "But you can call me Taka!"
"And I'm Mondo Owada," Mondo added.
"Korekiyo Shinguji," Kiyo said. "Oma-kun, where are you going?"
"I've got better things to do then introduce myself to a bunch of random people," Kokichi replied sharply. "For example, investigating."
And with that, he walked away.
"Oh, come on…" Kiyo muttered. "He's Kokichi Oma. Ignore him or don't as you please," he added to the other four.
"H-hey, are you guys alright?"
A shy voice came from behind them.
"Who the hell are you?" Mondo asked, raising his fists.
"Um, I'm Taro Yamada…" the source of the voice said. "I just wanted to make sure you guys were okay. You know, since you were all just standing here, and you seemed upset…"
"Taro! Come on!" a girl with huge orange ponytails snapped. "I don't have time for you to just stand here!"
The two of them walked away, Taro stealing one more concerned glance at the quintet.
"We should go, too," Kiyo said. "We should likely find out more about where we are."
The group left to investigate, not seeing the black-haired girl behind them, twitching erratically.
