Chapter 1: Boy/Girl Sleepover Activities

One mild second Saturday of September 2022, I met up with my childhood friends Sarah, James, and Henri, along with some of my other best friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, Max Greenwald, Carly Shay, and Spencer Puckett, as well as Carly's stepdad, Freddie Benson, at Pittsburgh's Perfect Parties client Allison Brawner's house in McCandless. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. "We will be inviting all of our best boyfriends for a football game in North Park, then back at my house, we can have a water balloon fight and then make our own pizzas, cupcakes, and brownies. I hope that we have a Chopped, Jr. game in McCandless next year in April," Allison stated. "How do you feel about being a senior at Carnegie Mellon University this year, Allison?" Sarah asked. "It's great," Allison replied. "I remember when you guys went away to college, I was feeling kind of sad because we had a strong relationship since your parents got married at the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church," I told Sarah. "Were you involved in any kinds of banquets, like we were, Allison?" Sarah asked. "I was involved in an honors banquet my senior year of high school, and we ate spaghetti, salad, and cake," Allison explained. "That's what we had to eat for an honors banquet in high school," Sarah remembered. "Angel and I first met in Natrona Heights, as well," Carly stated. "She missed me whenever I went off to college." We also heard additional music by Kate Bush, Lizzo, NSYNC, and 98 Degrees. "Angel and I first met through our love of music," Alex explained. "I especially loved performing in football games in high school, and I played flute while Angel played percussion." "I played percussion in the band, as well," Allison happily stated. Then, all of us went to Target to shop for everything that we needed for Allison's slumber party. Pretty soon, it was time for all of us to leave. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
