Finally, the next part in my series of System Alliance in Star Wars Universe arrives. So far, there has been a rapid development of the economy, technology and military in System Alliance Rise to Power. Then a brief but devastating conflict in System Alliance: War for Milda with the remnants of Dark Empire. Recently, in System Alliance: Unknown Regions, more races from Unknown Regions began to join SA, adding the lacking Manpower and more technological novelties.

Please also note that I haven't read a single book on Caamas Document Crisis, but only Wookieepedia, so it may differ from Legends.

Prologue - Perry-style diplomacy

= place: Bothawui system; April 15, 2188; 19 ABY =

"Well Chief of State, do you have any other ideas?" - Han Solo asked over his communicator. He was on his ship, the Millennium Falcon with Caamasi Senator Elegos A'Kla. There were over 200 warships in the system, armed and ready to fight each other. From small corvettes to star destroyers. In addition, more were constantly coming. And that's not counting fighters, private ships, and smaller escorts.

"Unfortunately, we can only play on time and wait for the situation to calm down." - said the New Republic Chief of State, Ponc Gavrisom - "The news of the Bothan involvement in the destruction of Caamasi homeworld divided the New Republic. Many will use it to resolve past disputes between different races."

"We don't have time to calm down." - Han said - "If the Super Star Destroyer doesn't arrive soon with an enormous escort fleet, we're going to have a civil war here before the planet's spin is over."

Then the next signals started appearing on the scanner.

"Great." - Han said sarcastically - "Another group of ships is coming. I just hope it doesn't lead to- wait. I don't detect any occasional exits from the hyperspace. Can you confirm?"

"I confirm, General Solo." - Ponc said. We already count over 100, from frigates to cruisers."

"Mr. Gavris." - one of the operators on board the corvette said - "The other fleets also confirm the arrival of another warship, but without the hyperspace signatures. We are currently counting-, by the Force."

"What happened?" - Ponc asked, clearly surprised by the shocked soldier. Han looked at his scanner again, and what he saw terrified him. It was an Eclipse class Super Star Destroyer. Modified, but still.

"This is one of the Eclipse class SSDs." - said the soldier at last - "The signals have stopped coming. According to the Anaxes War College System, we counted 144 light frigates, 48 light cruisers, and 48 heavy cruisers escorting this dreadnought."

"Chancellor Gavris, we must immediately open diplomacy channels with these newcomers." - Senator A'Kla said.

"THIS IS THE EMPEROR'S FLAGSHIP!" Han shouted, "How do you want to negotiate with HIM!?"

"The escort fleet isn't Imperial." - Elegos said calmly. Han looked at the scanners again. The rest of these ships weren't identified by the computer, and all you could tell from this appearance was that they were fully fledged warships. However, this weapon in the center was somewhat reminiscent of the Mass Driver. Obsolete but still used weapons in some sectors of the galaxy. Before he could delve deeper into the significance of this discovery, Elegos continued his lecture - "It is our duty to try to negotiate BEFORE any other act, and armed struggle is LAST RESORT."

"I just hope the rest of the commanders do the same." - Han said.

Meanwhile, panic began among the other factions. The Anti-Bothan coalition launched an immediate retreat, taking almost half of the New Republic's forces. Bothans, the Pro-Bothan coalition and New Republic peacekeepers gathered in orbit awaiting an attack. At the same time, Ponc Gavrisom tried to contact the newcomers who were still out of reach of the turbolasers. But suddenly they detected a spike in energy and these ships started firing...

...into a piece of space where there was nothing.

Or at least it seemed so because it quickly turned out that they hit a few Star Destroyers which had previously been hidden by some cloaking devices. While the Destroyers themselves didn't seem to be taking damage, they were losing power quickly. They were most likely shot with an Ion weapon. In just a minute, a mysterious fleet surrounded the Imperials and began to carry out boarding operations. At the same time, they opened a communication channel with the New Republic fleet and invited their delegations to their flagship to open diplomatic channels.

Han only later received information that his ship would be transporting representatives of the New Republic. The team included Senators Leia Organa Solo, Borsk Fey'lya and Elegos A'Kla, then the New Republic Chief of State, Ponc Gavrisom escorted by Han Solo and 3 other New Republic soldiers. The newly restored General Lando Calrissian led a fleet in orbit, which began to grow rapidly with the arrival of more groups of ships.

On the flight to their destination, the Millennium Falcon was escorted by a dozen X-wings, but soon more fighters from the new faction joined. With a cockpit in the middle, protruding cannons and engines on the wings, and small ailerons, probably to help with the atmosphere. Painted in white and blue colors with an unknown symbol in the shape of faith.

Meanwhile, the representatives prepared to board the flagship of the newcomers' fleet, although nervous about the loud arrival, they knew that their task was to maintain a peaceful relationship with this faction, and perhaps even to join the New Republic. They finally took care of the 3 Star Destroyers as soon as they arrived. They were quickly correlated in Galactic Standard where they were to land, along with their squad fighters, and stood in front of the entrance from the ship.
