Disclaimer: I don't own Stargate Atlantis
Note: As much as I despise the John/Teyla thing, I have nothing against Teyla personally so after watching Suspicion again I thought that I'd do a little Liz/Teyla friendship thing with a little John/Liz thrown in for good measure. Have I ever done an SGA story without a little John/Liz? The answer is no. Never.
Spoiler: Suspicion
Teyla was sat in her quarters. The last week had been difficult for her. She and her people were accused of spying for the Wraith. Teyla was angry had what happened but she held no ill feelings against Dr Weir. Did she?
She'd had respected Dr Weir from the beginning, she was also beginning to trust her. But this changed everything. She was hurt that Dr Weir did not trust her enough to believe her when she said that her people had no part in the Wraith attacks.
Teyla was interrupted by a gentle knock on the door. She opened the door and saw Dr Weir
"Dr Weir?"
"Teyla, I hope I'm not disturbing you"
"Of course not, please come in"
Teyla moved to allow Dr Weir entry. Teyla then sat on her bed facing Dr Weir.
"Please sit down"
Dr Weir sat next to Teyla and turned to face her
"Teyla, I just want to say I'm sorry about this past week. I can't imagine how difficult it's been for you. I also want to apologise about St Bates and his behaviour. It was unacceptable."
"Dr Weir, I did not like being suspected of helping the Wraith, but what I also know is that you tried to make your decisions fairly. Halling did comment on how you were trying to conduct the interviews fairly. I am aware that St Bates did not share in your approach."
"I'm still very sorry Teyla. I hope we can still be friends. I would hate to lose your friendship."
"Dr Weir, I would still like to be friends. I am hurt though that you did not trust me enough to believe me."
Dr Weir lowered her head.
"I know; I am ashamed of that. Major Sheppard was right, and I'm glad he was. Major Sheppard has a lot of faith and trust in you Teyla."
"He has faith and trust in you also. He would have not followed you to another galaxy otherwise."
Dr Weir smiled
"He's hopeless sometimes."
Teyla nodded in agreement
"I agree."
Dr Weir paused
"I have trust and faith in you as well Teyla and in your people"
Teyla nodded
"I know."
"Also, you don't have to call me Dr Weir; you can call me Elizabeth. We are friends."
Teyla nodded
"Yes Elizabeth. May I ask you a question?"
"Yeah sure"
"I heard Major Sheppard tell Lt Ford this and I'm wondering what it means."
"What did he say?"
"Major Sheppard said you were 'hot'. I'm not sure what he meant by it."
Dr Weir nervously looked at her watch
"I'm sorry I have a briefing to go too. I'll see you later"
"Goodbye Elizabeth"
Teyla smiled as Dr Weir left the room. There was some matchmaking in her future.
Teyla again reflected on the events of the past week and realised that not all change was for the worse. She'd made herself a new friend and a new hobby.

Please review. I'm sorry but I had to add the subtle Liz/John thing. It's just who I am.
