After the Storm Border was struck by a mysterious force during Zero Sail, the vessel was forced to make an emergency landing in a strange land, a world entirely in ruins.

"The outer shell was destroyed, the engines are unusable, the cockpit is nothing but ashes... Not even Zeus' storms managed to do this much damage to the Border" - Da Vinci said as she examined the remains of their ship.

While in Zero Sail, the Border was affected by strange turbulence before a flash of energy hit them directly, causing massive damage and forcing them to land whenever they could, which ended up being a city... And a strange one at that.

Everything around them was ruins, but not like those in the bleached earth, it was more as if this was the result of a full blown war. Buildings were destroyed, rubble covered the ground and corpses could be seen, laying down in different states of decomposition.

Mash, armed with Orteanus, standed next to Ritsuka, Sherlock and Goredolf as they waited for Da Vinci and Nemo to finish checking if something was saved out of the Border.

"It seems one thing is fine, the mana core is still mostly usable so the Servants can be summoned, call them out Fujimaru Kun" -

"Got it, we'll definitely need their help to find out what happened here..." -

After the Servants were summoned and the situation was explained to them, some of them decided to move away from the camp and start doing a search to see if they could find anything of use, and they found something... Not so helpful.

A giant beast was rampaging in the east of the city in which they were, and dealing with it was in order before they tried to set up any sort of base to find out what this world had in store for them.

"We need someone to take that thing down. Artoria, can you and the knights deal with it?" - Ritsuka asked his Servants.

"Leave it to us, we'll..." - but before Artoria could finish speaking, the monster ripped through a building and attacked them directly, forcing them into an offensive immediately.

Enkidu and Gilgamesh Caster used their chains to try and hold the creature in place while Gawain and Lancelot launched a dual strike with their swords, yet the monster broke out and didn't take much damage from the hit of both Sabers.

From a distance, EMIYA fired several arrows powered by his magic, but they did nothing more than merely get the attention of the beast. Atalanta did the same, as well as William and Ko Gil, yet the result was the same.

The Archers and the Casters attacked non stop with a barrage of projectiles with the intention of distracting the creature while other Servants attacked on different sides. Heracles and Asterios both went for hits to the legs to try and bring it down while Gil Archer now joined Enkidu and his Caster self to try and hold it in place.

With help from a Command Seal from Ritsuka, Artoria launched an Excalibur with the intent to kill the monster, yet it remained with burns around its body, still standing.

"I was wondering what all of this noise was" - a boy said, slowly walking behind Fujimaru.

"Who are you..." -

"I see you're dealing with another one of Typhon's bastards. They are rather easy to kill, I'm not sure as to why it's taking you so long" - he interrupted Ritsuka - "Get your companions away from it, let me deal with this" -

"Wha...?" -

While Ritsuka didn't understand who this boy was or what he was doing, he did understand one thing, he was about to blast the monster - "Everyone, pull back!" - he yelled to his Servants. While some were confused, they obeyed and retreated.

"Goodbye, abomination" - and with those simple words, a torrent of blue flames emerged from the ground, consuming the monster until there was nothing left of it - "Well, that was easy enough" -

Chaldea started to approach him, with the boy turning to look at Ritsuka and giving them a good look at him. He had spiky black hair with light purple eyes, his height was similar to Fujimaru as well as his complexion.

"That was..." -

"Yeah, I know, messy. Flora's gonna give me hell later... Oh, should've introduced myself first, Marth Murokumo, a pleasure to meet you" - he extended his hand to Ritsuka, and the boy, while a bit nervous, took it.

"Hi, I'm Ritsuka. Could you please tell us what was that thing that we just fought about?" -

"That? They have many names in the Council, I prefer to call them 'Horrifying', but for what they are, they're childrens of Typhon, or at the very least what remains of Typhon" -

"Typhon? As in, the Greek mythology monster?" - Mash walked from behind Ritsuka and asked.

"Yes, now, my question... What is a human doing surrounded by a bunch of spirits?" -

After hearing the question, most Servants got into a defensive position since they didn't know what Marth intended.

"What... Do you mean by that?" -

"Finding human survivors as of late has been less and less common, and seeing one protected by spirits is something quite strange, and... Based on their looks, I can tell you're not from here, aren't you?" -

"Oh boy, I'm... Not so sure how to explain things to you" -

"First of all, I don't think this is the best place to talk, another one of Chaos' goons could find us easily. Come, I'll bring you to the safe space" -

"Wait, before we go" - Da Vinci interrupted Marth's walk - "How can we be sure you're not taking us to a trap?" -

"Really? You guys couldn't even take down one of Typhon's offspring, if I wanted all of you dead I wouldn't need a trap, I would just burn you here on the spot. Now come on, unless you want another one of Chaos' troops to find you" -
