Trifas

The Grand Orders were over. The defeat of Beast I, Goetia at the hands of Ritsuka and Mash made his entire plan crumble, as well as his army of Demon God Pillars. Or... Most of them, at least.

As Chaldea learnt soon after, some of the surviving Pillars that managed to escape the Singularity were traveling to different locations and establishing there in order to ensure plans of revenge. They have already dealt with 3 of them, in Shinjuku, Agartha, and the Oil Rig Seraphix turned into .PH, and now another one had been found in the town of Trifas in Romania, in the middle of a Great Holy Grail War.

"A Holy Grail War fought between 2 Factions, a Red and a Black one... This is certainly interesting" - Da Vinci said as she was studying the scans made to the area - "Ritsuka Kun could go alone, yes, but I think a team would work better..." - the Caster said to herself as she remembered that there was still a certain group of Masters that were left frozen. Thanks to the Servants summoned by Chaldea, their wounds would have healed up by this moment.

Da Vinci made her way to where the coffins that were caught up in the explosion were located, seeing the frozen bodies of Team A. Wodime, Kadoc, Ophelia, Akuta, Pepe, Beryl and Daybit. She had read their files and knew quite a lot about them, especially the reasons as to why they were considered as members for such a prestigious position in the first place.

It was clear, they were the perfect fit for this mission. She ordered Chaldea's employees to start the process of unfreezing them all with the exception of Beryl, as he was the only member that she didn't trust, he would be kept asleep and only woken up once an appropriate way of dealing with him would be implemented. Meanwhile, the rest were reawakened and taken to the medbay to await for them to wake up, all while Ritsuka and Mash were informed of the next mission.

Once told, both of them rushed to the medbay to await for the awakening of the Crypters, but Da Vinci told them that they needed to do something else first, something that would allow Mash to fight in the Singularity together with Ritsuka once more. While Mash did that, she spoke in private with the Master.

"Ritsuka Kun, this will be your first mission alongside fellow Masters, how are you feeling?" -

"Not gonna lie, I'm a bit nervous. I'm not exactly sure if they'll even agree to work with me" -

"That's understandable. However, I doubt you'll have much trouble at all, with your natural Charisma you'll be able to make friends with them in no time" -

"I hope you're right, Da Vinci..." -

"Trust in me. After all, I know that things will work out, and most of all, I feel like you'll get along perfectly with their leader" -

"Really?" -

"Of course. You're both similar, so you'll have no problem bonding with him. However, I can't say it will be the same for the rest. Even with this, I doubt that the Master who passed through the Grand Orders would have trouble making friends" -

They kept talking about the members of Team A until one of the members of Chaldea came running to inform Da Vinci that they had started to wake up. She, alongside Ritsuka went to the infirmary to receive them.

Once they arrived there, they noticed that the first to wake up had been Kirschtaria Wodime, the leader of Team A. He was sitting in the bed, confused and looking around until he saw Da Vinci and Ritsuka standing at the door.

"Da Vinci?" - he said, still not fully in his senses. He tried to get up only to nearly fall, being catched by Ritsuka - "You're... One of the rookies..." -

"Yeah. The name's Ritsuka, now sit down, you had a long nap" -

"What does that mean...?" -

"We'll explain everything once you're better, but for now try not to overwork yourself, you're still recovering from cryosleep" - Da Vinci explained to Wodime.

Even without his full senses, he knew that something had happened while they were asleep. He looked around the room, seeing the rest of his team sleeping. He figured everything would be explained once everyone woke up.

And one by one, so they did. First of them was Pepe, then came Daybit, Ophelia followed him, then Kadoc and finally Akuta. Team A was (almost) complete, and once everyone was finally awake and in a state where they could understand what was being said to them, Da Vinci explained everything.

"Right now, it's 2019, 1 whole year has passed since the day you were supposed to travel to Singularity F" - she said immediately as the conversation started. All of them were shocked upon hearing this - "That day, Lev Lainur, one of our members, activated an explosive in the Command Room with the intent of killing everyone in it. Lucky for us, we were able to save your lives by placing everyone in cryosleep" -

"Then what happened while we were unconscious?" - Kadoc asked first.

"The last surviving Master candidate, Ritsuka Fujimaru, had to take it upon himself to complete the Grand Orders. After a lot of hardship... And loss, we were able to defeat the one responsible for such an event, Beast I, Goetia" -

"A Beast was behind everything..." - The leader of Team A said to himself.

"And who is this Ritsuka Fujimaru? If he's the one who managed to do this all by himself then he..." -

"Um... Hi, I'm Ritsuka" - the boy interrupted Akuta as she was finishing speaking.

All of them locked eyes on him, recognizing who he was, one of the 10 brought from the civilian population instead of a mage family, which surprised them, some more than others.

"A civilian... Did it?" - Kadoc was one of the most shocked - "But... How?" -

"If I'm being 100% honest, I'm not so sure myself, but that's not the important part. Da Vinci?" -

"Right, Ritsuka Kun. Team A, you all have been woken up because there's a mission for you, a remnant from the Demon God Pillars has been detected and it's Chaldea's duty to destroy it. You'll all be once more in service" -

Team A had been explained everything about their mission against the Demon God Pillar. They, together with Fujimaru, would travel to the Singularity where two Factions were fighting for the Holy Grail. They would summon Servants there and would act as a Third Faction, fighting when necessary and trying to find this Pillar.

"Seems like an easy enough mission, but why is he joining us instead of Beryl?" - Kadoc asked Da Vinci while they were walking through Chaldea.

"Beryl isn't available at the moment, and even if he was he wouldn't be in my options. Trust me, this change in members will work out" -

They arrived at the Command Center, where Ritsuka and Mash were talking together before kissing and noticing the arrival of the rest.

"Oh, hi guys" - Mash said happily towards Team A. Ophelia smiled at the girl and went to hug her - "I'm glad to see you again" -

- Nice to hear you too Mash" - Pepe said, answering with his own smile before looking at Ritsuka - "So, you and Mash?" -

"She was my first Servant and has been with me since the beginning. Plus, we've been dating for a few months now" - the boy explained.

"Mash will be working as support in this mission, so she won't be joining you during this mission. Mash, please go bring Ritsuka's Servant for this mission" - Da Vinci asked, Mash said yes and left the Command Room - "For this mission, Ritsuka's Servant will be an Assassin, the rest of classes are available for summoning" -

Every single one of the members of Team A already had their ideas for their Servants. Ritsuka summoning an Assassin wasn't a problem for any of them.

A few minutes later, someone entered the Command Room, a Hassan. Black clothing, a black cloak and a skeleton mask. She walked to Ritsuka and stood up next to him.

"Good, Hassan's here. Everyone, get to the Coffins, we'll begin rayshift in 10" -

The Team A members got to the Coffins and prepared to teleport.

"You will be teleported to the location of a leyline which will serve you to summon a Servant. Chaldea will do the summoning and it will be transported directly to you" - the Caster explained - "Rayshift starts in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5..." -

Each one of them closed their eyes.

"4, 3, 2, 1... Good luck, New Team A" -

The rayshift happened, and the New Team A was transported to Trifas for their mission.

A new Faction would participate in the conflict.

The Colorless Faction.

The group was rayshifted into a location not too far from the west side of the wall that covered Trifas, the leyline that Da Vinci informed them about.

"You guys do your summonings, me and Hassan will keep watch while you're busy" - Ritsuka said while he and his Servant walked away from them.

"I'm still surprised a civilian was the one who managed to go all the way in the Grand Orders" - Akuta said while Kadoc prepared to summon his Servant - "Are we sure Da Vinci isn't messing with us?" -

"She's not the kind of person to do that. Besides, this Ritsuka seems interesting to me. He has an air of innocence but at the same time you can tell he's been through a lot" - Pepe said with a smile - "One thing's sure however, he's not ordinary in any way" -

"If he managed to get through every Singularity, that's obvious. How he did it is what has me curious, Da Vinci never bothered to explain that" - Wodime joined the conversation.

"You can ask him later, but for now we better get our Servants first" - Daybit interrupted them upon seeing that Kadoc had completed the preparations for the summonings. With the help of Chaldea, each one would bring 1 Servant into this world.
