Narrator: After finally making it to Praise Town, Ash and his friends met the Hales' new baby and signed up for Bible Camp by Professor Adam and his Pokémon.

Delia: (singsongs) Time to wake up, kids!

Ash: (yawns) Good morning, Mom.

Rockruff, who had been sleeping close to Ash and his own little team of Pokémon friends, yawned and stretched all of his limbs.

Ash: Good morning, Rockruff.

Rockruff: Morning, Ash. Thanks again for having Pikachu bless me yesterday.

Ash: No problem, buddy. (scratches Rockruff behind the ears)

Rockruff: Oh, yeah, that's the spot. (pants)

Rockruff's right hind leg could be seen going up and down. Delia thought this was cute to see.

Delia: Awww… You love that, don't you, little one?

Rockruff: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Ash: Wonder if Molly slept okay.

Pikachu: I was wondering the same thing.

Suddenly, they heard a baby crying not too far away.

Delia: Oh my. Guess Spencer and Eliza will be changing her diaper.

Ash: I bet Molly's made a big stink load.

Pikachu and Rockruff sniffed the air.

Pikachu: P.U.! I can smell it from here.

Indeed, in their room, Professor Hale and Eliza were at work changing and cleaning their toddler daughter.

Eliza: Don't worry, baby. We're almost done.

Before long, Molly was cleaned and had a fresh diaper on. Before long, the Hales met up with the Ketchums while their daughter was busy drinking milk from her bottle.

Ash: Good morning, Professor and Mrs. Hale.

Professor Hale: (chuckles) Morning, Ash.

Pikachu: Did Molly sleep well last night?

Eliza: She sure did. Sorry if her crying woke you up.

Ash: That's alright, Mom woke us up.

Pikachu: Yeah.

Charmander: Wow. Molly must have a healthy appetite because she's nearly finished her milk.

Professor Hale: She sure does, Charmander.

Sure enough, Molly finished her milk and now held an empty bottle.

Eliza: Finished already, Molly?

Molly: Uh-huh. (giggles)

Ash: (giggles)

Before long, the Ketchums and the Hales met up with the kids, their babysitters, their Pokémon, and Professor Adam.

Adam: Good morning, Ketchum and Hale Families. Sleep well?

Delia: (smiles) Very well.

Eliza: Same as us.

Serena: Hi, Molly.

Molly smiled and waved.

Tabitha: You, David, and Karolina sleep well, Isies?

Isies: I slept great!

David: Me too.

Karolina: As did I. (giggles)

Adam: Alright, everyone. Let's have some breakfast. My Mamaw Wanda's cooking.

Isies: Mamaw?

David: It's one of many names people can give their grandmothers.

Isies: (understandingly) Ohhh…

Adam: Just follow me.

And so they did.

Adam: Here we are. Mamaw Wanda, Is breakfast ready for our family campers?

There was an elderly woman with dark orange hair, an apron, and a Chansey with her, serving breakfast.

Wanda: Yes, it is, Adam. (looks at all who came to breakfast) My, we have a lot of campers, don't we?

Chansey: (chuckles) We sure do. And it seems we have a fairy and a giant among them, too.

Karolina: My name's Karolina, ma'am.

Isies: And I'm Isies.

Wanda: (chuckles) Well, aren't you sweethearts.

Isies & Karolina: (blushing) Thank you.

Wanda: Okay, grab a tray and get your food. Don't forget to say your prayers.

David: Of course, ma'am.

So, the kids started to line up one by one and they got a tray of their own. In Karolina and Isies's case, Karolina used her magic to shrink her tray and used her magic to make Isies's tray grow.

Isies: Thanks, Karolina.

Karolina: No problem. (winks)

Ash: What do you have, Wanda?

Wanda: Well, dearie, we have toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, and hashbrowns. Which would you like?

Ash: I would like some oatmeal and hashbrowns.

Pikachu: Me too, and some ketchup to go with it.

Wanda: (chuckles) Of course, Pikachu. Comin' right up.

It took some time, but before long, everyone had been given their own breakfast. They all got what they wanted. Except for Kiawe. He asked for bacon, but Wanda told him they ran out.

Kiawe: (disappointedly) Oh.

Wanda: Here, have some oatmeal with some milk.

Kiawe: Well… Okay.

Wanda: Don't feel bad. Go sit with your friends. They can't start the morning prayer without you.

Kiawe: Right. (takes his tray)

Turtonator: Ovah heah, Kiawe. Hahve you got whaht you wanted?

Kiawe: No. All I got was oatmeal and milk.

Kiawe's Charmander: Well, it's better than nothing, right?

Turtonator: Right.

Kiawe: I guess so.

Before long, everyone had a place to sit.

Eliza: O Lord, who art in heaven, we'd like to thank you for starting our first day at Bible Camp. Please bless this on our tables as we praise your Name. And please, give us a great time on our first day. In your Name, we pray, amen.

Everyone: Amen!

Sophocles: Mmm! Time to eat!

Togedemaru: (giggles) Oh, Soffy.

The others giggled as well. Ash was sitting next to Serena.

Serena: Any thoughts on what the activities at this camp'll be?

Ash: As a matter of fact, I'm not really sure.

Adam: (smiles) I'll tell you about it after breakfast.

Ash and Serena: Kay.

Kiawe meanwhile managed to power his way through his meal.

Kiawe's Charmander: Is it good?

Kiawe: It's alright. (pause) Well, maybe the rest of the day will be better.

Turtonator: Zat's ze spirit! (chuckles)

After breakfast, Adam called the group together and showed them a poster board with a list of activities on a canvas.

Adam: Okay, everyone, listen up! Here's the list of the activities Bible Camp has to offer. There's Tug of War, Stack the Books of the Bible, Arts and Crafts, Pokémon Soccer, Praise Dancing, Swimming, the Instrument Playground, and so much more!

Lana: (excited) Swimming?

Misty: (smiles) Now that's right up our alley, Lana.

Misty and Lana gave each other a high five.

Ash: The Instrument Playground?

Sophocles: Is it a playground for instruments?

Adam: (laughs) No, lad. Actually, it's a playground with xylophone slides, swing notes, timpani trampolines, and slide whistle seesaws.

Ash: Sounds interesting.

Serena: And musical too. (giggles)

Isies: Stack the Books of the Bible? (giggles) I bet I could make a really tall stack of books with my size.

Lillie: I'm with you, Isies!

Kiawe looked at all the activities on the board.

Kiawe: Pokémon Soccer will brighten me up.

Kiawe's Charmander: That's the way, Kiawe. (realizes he unintentionally rhymed) Oop. (chuckles)

Turtonator: Good one, little friend!

Kiawe's Charmander: (chuckles) Thanks.

Among the ones who showed interest in Tug of War were Gary and Goh. Those interested in Stack the Books of the Bible were Isies and Lillie. Kids that were interested in doing Arts and Crafts were Tracey, Chloe, May, and Dawn. Kiawe of course was interested in Pokémon Soccer. Those interested in Praise Dancing were Brock and Tabitha. Mist and Lana were of course interested in Swimming. And finally, those interested in the Instrument Playground were Ash, Serena, and even Molly.

Adam: Now go out there and have fun! My Pokémon will be your guide.

Kids: We will!

Before long, the kids and their Pokémon separated to start their respective activities.

Misty and Lana got their swimwear and there was Adam's Squirtle, Squirto.

Squirto: Hey dudettes!

Misty and Lana: Hi, Squirto!

Lana: I'm guessing you're the lifeguard?

Squirto: Right on, Lana. (winks)

Horsea: Nice.

Squirto: And here's an inner tube for Togepi.

Misty: Aw, thanks. Togepi'll love it. Won't ya, girl?

Togepi: (giggles)

Squirto: Hold on, Yo, Popper!

Popper the Popplio hopped over.

Popper: You called, Squirto?

Squirto: Are the balls in place?

Popper: You'd better believe it.

Lana: Whoa…

Misty: Look, Togepi. See those bouncy beachballs?

Togepi: Uh-huh. (giggles)

Lana: Let's go swimming!

Popplio: Yay! (claps her flippers)

Horsea: Woohoo!

Before long, Misty had placed Togepi in an inner tube and jumped into the pool along with Lana.

Meanwhile, Goh and Gary made it to the Tug of War zone.

Scorbunny: Look, Squirtle, there's even some Tug of War ropes for Pokémon like us.

Squirtle: Excellent! You, Grookey, and Sobble grab one end, and Umbreon and I'll take the other.

Just then, Charo the Charmander arrived.

Charo: Hi, fellas.

Gary: You must be Charo that Adam's been talkin' about.

Charo: You bet. (winks) Are you ready to start tugging? Are ya?

Pokémon: You bet!

Gary & Goh: Us too!

Charo: Alrighty then. On your mark… Get set… GO!

The two teams tugged and tugged as hard as they could. They both seemed evenly matched.

Goh: C'mon, guys! We can do this! (grunts)

Gary: You may have more Pokémon on your side, Goh, but we're not gonna give up! (grunts)

They continued tugging until finally…

Goh: Almost… There… (pulls the rope) Yah!

Gary: Whoa!

Gary, Umbreon, and Squirtle were pulled down to the ground.

Charo: We have a winner! Goh's team! (uses Flamethrower)

Goh: Yes! We did it, guys!

Scorbunny: Aw yeah! We're awesome!

Sobble: Yay.

Gary: (chuckles) Congrats, Goh.

Goh: (smiles) Thanks, Gary.

Meanwhile, Tracey, May, Dawn, and Chloe, were at the Arts and Crafts center with a woman who has dark brown hair and a Serperior with her. Her name was Mary, she was Adam's mom.

May: What are we going to make today, Mary?

Mary: We're going to make paper notes of praise.

Chloe: That sounds interesting.

Dawn: How do we make 'em?

Mary: (smiles) Do you see that chart over there?

Tracey: Yes…

Mary: You can choose any musical note you want. Like sharp notes, flat notes, treble clefs, and quarter notes.

Piplup: Any note?

Serperior: Yes, any musical note.

Chloe: Well, let's get started!

May and Dawn: Alright!

So, the kids began working on their paper notes. Tracey did the eighth note. Chloe did the treble clef. Dawn did the sharp note. And May did the flat note. After they cut out the shapes, they started decorating them.

Chloe: This is kinda fun. Huh, Dawn?

Dawn: It sure is!

The girls shared smiles and giggles.

Mary: How are your music notes?

Dawn: Why don't you see for yourself? (shows off her note)

Mary: It looks lovely, Dawn. Great job.

May, Chloe, and Tracey showed how much they got done.

Mary: They look great! Well done.

Serperior: Stupendous.

Tracey: Thanks, Mrs. Haneline. You too, Serperior.

Mary: You're welcome, kids.

Meanwhile, Ash, Serena, and Molly made it to the Instrument Playground.

Serena: Oh, my goodness! Look at this.

Ash: This is quite a playground. Don'cha think, Molly?

Molly: Uh-huh.

Pikachu: Boy, there are so many to choose from.

Just then, Pikalos the Pikachu, Mudkipper the Mudkip, and Toto the Totodile came up to them.

Pikalos: Hey, kiddos.

Ash: Hey Pikalos. What an awesome playground.

Pikalos: Glad you like what you see.

Mudkipper: Go ahead and pick one.

The kids and their Pokémon looked all around the playground.

Serena: Ash, let's go on the swing notes.

Ash: Sure. And look, there's some swings that look safe for Molly. C'mon, Molly.

Taking Ash's hand, the young toddler followed after him and Serena.

Ash: Here we are; the swing note swings.

Molly giggled as Ash picked her up and placed her on one of the swings. Ash then noticed Serena slipping out of her shoes, revealing her bare feet.

Ash: Why are you taking your shoes off?

Serena: Because there's a chance my shoes might fly off while on the swing, and I don't wanna risk the chance of losing one of 'em.

Ash: Hmm. I can see that.

Serena: Anyway, let's swing!

With that, the two kids jumped up onto two swings close to Molly's.

Ash: Ready, you two?

Serena: Ready!

Molly: Uh-huh.

Ash: Let's do it!

With that, the trio started swinging.

Ash: Woohoo!

Serena: Wheee!

Molly: Whee! (giggles)

Pikachu and the other Pokémon found other places in the playground to try out. Pikachu was on the Xylophone Slide. Froakie and Pancham were on one of the Timpani Trampolines. Treecko and Fennekin were on the Slide Whistle Seesaw.

Pikachu: Yahoo!

Froakie: This is fun!

Pancham: You said it, dude!

Fennekin: Going up!

Treecko: Going down!

Ash: Are you having fun, Molly?

Molly: (giggles)

Serena: I guess that's a yes. (smiles)

Just then, Delia came along.

Delia: Just thought I'd see how you three are getting on.

Ash: Oh, hey Mom. We're doing fine.

Serena: And Molly's having a great time.

Molly: Uh-huh. (giggles)

Delia: Well, I'm glad to see my goddaughter having a good time.

Serena: Goddaughter?

Delia: (smiles) Spencer and Eliza made me Molly's godmother sometime after she was born.

Serena: Wow… So I guess that makes Ash her godbrother or something?

Delia: Yes.

Ash: (smiles) Well, alright then.

Meanwhile, Kiawe, Charmander, and Turtonator were at the soccer field.

Charmander: (looks around) Doesn't look like there's a lotta people here.

Kiawe: You're right, Charmander.

Turtonator: You don't suppose no one else wanted to try Pokémon Soccah?

Just then, Tori the Torchic came up.

Tori: Hey there.

Kiawe: Hello Tori.

Tori: (looks around) My, looks like no one else was interested in Pokémon Soccer.

Voice: Except me.

Kiawe: Sawyer?

Sawyer: That's right.

Kiawe: You came to play with me?

Sawyer: Well, sure, li'l buddy.

Kiawe: Thanks.

Sawyer: Hey, you all right, Kiawe?

Kiawe: It's just that I don't wanna have a bad day.

Kiawe then explained that he didn't get the breakfast he wanted, and it seems that no one besides him wanted to try Pokémon Soccer.

Sawyer: Well, the day's not over yet, kiddo.

Charmander: Yeah, let's play some soccer.

Turtonator: Yeah!

Kiawe: Alright. Let's do this!

Tori: Oh boy!

With that, they began playing Pokémon Soccer. They were all having a good time until…

Kiawe: Ow!

Sawyer and Charmander: Kiawe!

They ran over to the boy.

Turtonator: Whaht hahppened?

Kiawe: I skid my knee.

Tori: Oh boy. I'll get a medical kit.

As Tori went to get the kit, Kiawe could feel anger building inside of him.

Kiawe: IT'S NOT FAIR!

Kiawe's shout echoed everywhere.

Kiawe: I haven't got exactly what I want. First, I didn't have any bacon for breakfast, and now I skid my knee!

Some of the kids, babysitters, and Pokémon heard Kiawe blow his stack, and they couldn't believe it.

Sophocles: I've hardly heard Kiawe lose his temper before.

Clemont could be seen comforting Bonnie, who could be seen whimpering after hearing Kiawe's outburst.

Charmander: What's the matter?

Kiawe: Nothing. I just wanna be by myself.

Charmander: Are you sure that's what you want?

Kiawe just looked away.

Turtonator: Sahwyah, I know I haven't been wiss ze group a long time, but ziss doesn't seem like Kiawe aht all.

Tori arrived back with the medical kit.

Tori: Hey, guys. (pause) Did I miss something?

Charmander: Kiawe's not acting like himself and he won't tell me what's the matter.

Tori: Hmm. I'll see if I can find out.

With that, Tori walked over and began to help Kiawe with his knee.

Tori: There, all done.

Kiawe said nothing.

Tori: Kiawe, why did you shout like that in the middle of the game? Is something wrong?

Kiawe: Nothing. I just wanna be by myself.

Tori: Well, alright.

With that, the Chick Pokémon walked away, rejoining Sawyer and Kiawe's two Pokémon.

Tori: Kiawe wants to be by himself.

Charmander and Turtonator were worried.

Charmander: He never wants to be by himself.

Turtonator: Sahwyah, whaht cahn we do?

Suddenly, Sawyer had an idea.

Sawyer: I know something we can try. Here's what we'll do…

And Sawyer whispered his idea to Charmander and Turtonator so that only they could hear.

Charmander: Good idea, Sawyer.

Turtonator: Let's try it.

After a moment, Charmander walked over to Kiawe.

Charmander: Hey Kiawe. You're having a bad day, huh?

Kiawe: I'm having a really bad day.

Charmander: I have an idea and I think you'll really like it, too.

Kiawe: Hmm?

Charmander: Come with me.

Unsure of what Charmander had in mind, Kiawe got up and decided it would be best to follow after the Lizard Pokémon.

Charmander: Ready, guys?

Sawyer and Turtonator: Ready.

And with that, they started to hug Kiawe.

Kiawe: Hey, what's going on?

Charmander: We're giving you a hug, buddy. To make you feel better.

Turtonator: You bet.

Kiawe: Thanks, you guys. I feel much better.

Sawyer: Well, I'm glad, partner. Now, let's get back to the game.

Kiawe, Charmander, and Turtonator: Okay!

Kiawe felt much better after he had gone through it.

Meanwhile, Lillie and Isies were stacking each book in biblical order.

Lillie: Have you got the Book of 2nd Kings?

Isies: Let me see… (looks) Yes, I do.

Meanwhile, Brock and Tabitha were on the dance floor of the Praise Dancing section. Tabitha chose to dance barefoot, which Brock was okay with.

Tabitha: I love dancing barefoot.

Brock: Well, you certainly dance like an angel without shoes on, Tabitha.

Tabitha: (blushes) Thank you, Brock.

Wanda: Lunchtime!

Ash: Alright!

Serena: Let's go eat.

Sophocles: Man, I'm…

Togedemaru: Starving? (giggles)

Sophocles: Am I that predictable?

Togedemaru: I think so.

Before long, everyone lined up to receive lunch.

Ash: What are we having?

Wanda: Well, we have hot dogs, pizza, yogurt, lemonade, and sandwiches.

Sophocles: Oh boy!

Before anyone could get their meals, a bright light shone around them. It was none other than Jesus Christ.

Jesus: Hello, my friends.

Wanda: Oh my.

Kiawe: Jesus, what are you doing here?

Jesus: To share a scripture with you, Kiawe.

Kiawe: Really? A scripture for me to learn?

Jesus: Indeed. In the Book of Ephesians, it says, "In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold."

Kiawe: It's Ephesians 4:26 & 27, right?

Jesus: Correct.

Kiawe: It's also about how to control and let go of my anger, too?

Jesus: That too is correct, Kiawe.

Kiawe: Even after I had a bad time this morning?

Jesus: Especially that.

Kiawe: Wow, I'm glad I learned that lesson. Thanks, Lord.

Jesus: (pats Kiawe on the shoulder) You're welcome, my young friend. Enjoy the rest of your day, children.

Kids: We will.

With that, Jesus waved goodbye and made his departure.

Ash: Kiawe, how did you get so angry all of a sudden?

Kiawe: It's a long story.

Narrator: After letting go of his anger, Kiawe learned that it can be hard to get what you wanted. But now, he learns it's okay to have a hug after he had a terrible day. Now, our heroes enjoyed their first day of Bible Camp, as the Journey continues.

To Be Continued…
