Carrie ran out the door of his bedroom, wanting to forget everything they had ever done. Carrie felt filthy, she wanted to hide and curl up in a ball, and she wanted to die. Carrie had just found out about Mr. Big's new relationship with an old ex-girlfriend, they had gotten back together, but hesitated to think of that. She slammed the door not hearing a word of Mr. Big's explanations, she ran down the stairs and onto the dingy streets of New York.

When Carrie got home she reflected over the times she had spent with Mr. Big, how she had longed to say "I love you" to him, she still couldn't think of Mr. Big's new relationship, she was going to start a new life, and without men.

Carrie met Charlotte at a new fancy restaurant by the hotel that Carrie and Mr. Big had once made love.

"Charlotte I need your help!" Carrie pleaded.

"What is it?" questioned Charlotte.

"Mr. Big was cheating on me with an ex! I thought we were an honest couple!"

"Ha! That man! You don't need Mr. Big. The question is… did you love him?"

"I…I… did", quivered Carrie.

"You did. Are you sure…you didn't say that you loved him, you only said that you did."

"Yes, I did love him, I always wanted to tell him, but when I did he rejected me and acted like I didn't say 'I love you'!" said Carrie.

"You have to forget about him…You don't need that man, he played you. I would forget him if I were you!" Charlotte said strongly.

Carrie couldn't help but play with the neatly piled sugar cubes, she felt as if no one loved her, who could she trust anymore?

"Yes, I should forget about him, besides who couldn't love a pretty face like mine?" laughed Carrie.

She still felt insecure about herself, but why should Carrie let Mr. Big get to her, there are still more fish in the sea.

"Well thank you for talking to me about this…" thanked Carrie.

"Anytime sweetheart!" chuckled Charlotte.

They both got up and fixed their skirts, Sara fixed the tight bow in her hair and then pulled her purse over her shoulder.

"I will see you at the club tomorrow night, don't forget – there are more fish in the sea! And who can't love a pretty face like yours." Said Charlotte softly walking out the door leaving Carrie to pay for the coffee Charlotte had.

Carrie was walking out the door when she noticed a pair of appealing shoes in the store window across the street. She quickly walked over to the window, bit her lip and said to herself "Hey! I need shoes at a time like this!" Carrie found herself buying three other pairs of expensive shoes including the pair in the window. And when Carrie was walking out of the door a man had unintentionally bumped into Carrie, she fell and dropped all of her shoes. The man helped her pick them up, and while he was doing so Carrie looked up and found herself looking deep into his eyes, he looked like angel to Carrie, she couldn't stop staring. He was so gorgeous. The man started to laugh, and said, "You have the most remarkably beautiful eyes I've ever seen."

Carrie blushed, looked down, and started to giggle. Carrie had fallen in love.
