I think I'm going to cry. I got so many reviews, and I'm only on my 4th chapter. THANKS SO MUCH EVERY ONE!!!!! Since I got so many reviews, I will make this chapter longer than the others. Until the part when Kikyo dies, you readers will still be able to vote. I don't mean to get all mushy and stuff, but just knowing that people like my stories...it makes me really happy. I want to become a writer one day so this is how I'm practicing. Oh yeah! I'm sorry that Kagome had to go through pain, but it only means more fluff for her and Inuyasha. ^__^ I'm a Kikyo hater too so don't worry. Sakura Ch.5: Healed, but Pained Again
"How is she?" Kouga asked.
"She is fine. She is just resting." Kaede said.
When Inuyasha and Kouga came back, they were told to stay outside. The two boys really were tired of waiting so when Kaede and everyone else left, they took a peek at Kagome. She was resting peacefully under blankets. They sighed from relieve.
"I thought Kaede told you to keep out." Sango said with an annoyed tone.
The boys sweat dropped and looked around slowly to find a very angry Sango. She whacked them on the head and dragged them away from the hut. "You should know better." Sango said. "Now stay away from the hut and don't let me catch you going near it." Sango sounded like a mother who was scolding a child.
"Would you like to bear my child?" Sango heard this and immediately made a fist. She looked around and saw Miroku doing his old routine. She smacked him, and dragged him away from the girl. (A/n: Go Sango!!! ^__^ She's really pissed off.) She pushed him to the ground, where the other boys were. "You boys are really something, you know that?" Sango said and walked away. The three boys looked at each other.
"What's up with that girl?" Kouga asked.
"Nothing. This is how she usually acts, but she gets worse if you push it." Inuyasha said.
They stood up, and decided to look for Kaede. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sango decided to go see how Kagome was doing. She wasn't really mad at Inuyasha and Kouga. The one she was mad at was Miroku. All day she heard him flirt with other girls and it made her sick to her stomach. "Stupid Miroku." She mumbled. She went into the hut and found that Kagome was awake. "Oh...Kagome. You're awake?"
Kagome nodded.
"How are you feeling?"
"Much better. I don't feel any pain at all." Kagome said with a bright smile.
"I'm glad. Can you stand?"
Kagome slowly stood up. She smiled again when she didn't fall. "I feel like taking a walk. Do you want to come?" Kagome asked.
"...sure." Sango said. The two walked near a river. Sango was looking at the river in silence with a sad expression.
"Sango, is there something wrong?" Kagome asked.
"...No, I was just thinking. That's all."
"About what?"
"...nothing important."
"Tell me, Sango. You can trust me."
"...well...okay." Sango said. She sighed and started. "...you love Inuyasha right?"
"W-what?!"
"Anyway...do you think I'll ever fall in love?" Sango asked. She completely ignored Kagome's question.
"Of course. I think anybody can fall in love. Why do you ask?"
"...no reason. I'm just wondering. I think I want to be in love." Sango said.
"Don't worry, Sango. You'll find him. Now back to the part where you said I love Inuyasha."
"You do don't you?"
The girls chatted away. They left their guards down and thought that nothing could happen. Too bad they were wrong. They were being watched by someone in the bushes behind them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Boys
They found Kaede in a hut with Shippou and Kirara sleeping. They sat down quietly.
"Where is Sango?" Kaede asked.
"She went off somewhere." Inuyasha said.
"I think we made her pissed." Kouga said.
Inuyasha forgot all about Kouga and said, "Anyway, what the hell are you doing here? Aren't you gonna go back to your tribe or something?!"
"Stupid as always. Kagome is in danger. I'm staying here until I know she's safe. Unless...you want me to take her with me." Kouga said.
Inuyasha made an annoyed face and looked away.
"Lady Kaede? What did you do to Kagome?" Miroku asked.
"I found a spell that will help Kagome from the pain. I am guessing it will only last for two weeks. That should give ye time to figure out the attacker." Kaede said. "Oh, Inuyasha? Did Sango not get any information from Kagome?"
"...She did." Inuyasha said, and looked at his lap.
"Well, what did she find out?" Kouga asked.
"...Kagome...said...that it was...Kikyo." Inuyasha said lowly.
"Kikyo? My elder sister?" Kaede asked. She was pretty surprised that Kikyo would do such a thing.
Inuyasha nodded.
"Isn't Kikyo the priestess you like? The one who's dead?" Kouga asked. "Wow. So you're a two-timer. I don't know why Kagome puts up with you if she only gets hurts. I'm beginning to think all you do to Kagome is hurt her."
Inuyasha's head snapped up. He stood up, and punched Kouga right in the face. (A/N: Believe me. It hurts.) "Everything you said was all shit and if you say it again, I'll beat the living hell out of you." Inuyasha said and walked out of the hut.
"Damn it!" Kouga said and touched the bruise.
"You shouldn't talk to Inuyasha about that kind of stuff, Kouga. He gets pissed off easily about it." Miroku said.
Shippou and Kirara were still sleeping. (A/N: I know. They're deep sleepers. I just don't want to bother with them.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Inuyasha, who was sitting in the God Tree, thought about what Kouga said. '...Maybe he's right. Maybe all I do is hurt Kagome.'
"Inuyasha." Someone said on the ground. Inuyasha looked down and was shocked. He jumped from his branch to the ground. "K-Kikyo?"
"You don't seem happy to see me." Kikyo said.
"...Were you the one who attacked Kagome?" Inuyasha asked.
"...No, I have no idea what you're talking about. She must've have mistaken me for someone else or she did not tell you the truth." Kikyo said.
'What? ...Kagome said it was Kikyo, but Kikyo said it wasn't her.' Inuyasha thought.
"Do you not believe me?" Kikyo asked.
"..I...don't know." Inuyasha said.
"I see. My reincarnation is taking my place. Isn't that right, Inuyasha?" Kikyo asked. Before he could answer, he found her lips on his. He was too shock to move or do anything at that moment. The kiss ended after a few second, and Kikyo stepped back. "I won't give you to her." Kikyo said, and then disappeared.
'...Kikyo...' Inuyasha thought. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With The Girls
"So you do love him?" Sango asked.
Sango and Kagome were at the same place, and were still talking.
"...I guess, but he loves Kikyo, not me." Kagome said sadly. "I just want him to be happy."
Sango heard a rustle sound. She looked around, but nothing was there.
"What's wrong?"
"...I thought I heard something."
"Well, we've been here for a while now. Do you want to head back?" Kagome asked.
"...okay." Sango said.
But when they started to walk back, a figure appeared in front of them.
"Kanna...and Kagura...?" Kagome said.
"That's right. We have come back for her." Kagura said and pointed to Kagome.
"Kagome, stay back." Sango said. She stepped in front of Kagome. Sango didn't have her weapons, but she knew she was physically stronger than Kagome.
"Sango! We don't have our weapons. What are we going to do?" Kagome asked.
She didn't answer.
"You are useless without your weapons." Kagura said. "Take this." Kagura swung her fan towards Kagome. Kagome got slammed to a tree and fell to the ground.
"Kagome!" Sango shouted. She ran to Kagome's side. "Kagome, are you alright?!"
Kagome was unconscious. 'Oh no. What should I do?!' Sango thought. Kagura swung her fan again, but this time it was aiming at Sango. Sango's eyes widen when she noticed it. 'Shit! I can't get up!' Sango tried, but every time Kagura would attack her.
Sango now had many wounds on her. 'What can I do?'
"Just give up!" Kagura said and attacked her again. Sango fainted from the lost of blood, and whispered, "..Kagome."
Kanna walked over to Kagome. She put her mirror in front of her. It started to suck up Kagome's soul.
"You said that it would work this time, right?" Kagura asked.
"Yes, it should." Kanna said in a flat tone.
"Good. We can finally get rid of this nuisance."
They left right after Kanna's mirror sucked all of Kagome's soul. Kagura made an evil laughter, and vanished with Kanna. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Inuyasha was thinking about his talk with Kikyo. 'Maybe Kagome didn't see the attacker clearly. What should I do?! Damn it! I can't think straight.' Inuyasha thought. He decided to go clear his mind by taking a walk. He suddenly stopped.
"...what? I smell Kagome's scent. Sango's too. And...someone else's. Kagura's?" Inuyasha dashed in the direction he smelt Kagome's scent.
He found Kagome on the ground, looking lifeless. He then found Sango on the ground too, except she was covered with wounds and blood. "What the hell?! Damn it." Inuyasha said. He picked Kagome carefully, and Sango as well. He ran as fast as he could to the village.
He got there in a couple of minutes, and called Kaede.
"What is it?" Kaede asked.
"I found the two knocked out." Inuyasha said. "Hurry up and tell me what to do!" Inuyasha said.
"Come and put them in the hut." Kaede said. Inuyasha did as told.
"It looks like Sango has the worst wounds so I will treat her first. Look after Kagome, Inuyasha."
"Oh my. It seems she has lost a lot of blood." Kaede said. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
