...Well...I'm pretty happy that I got a lot of reviews...and um...it seems that people still have different ideas. Well...I think I'll keep my idea and just add more stuff in it. I'm sorry if you're reading this and you're not a Kikyo hater, but yeah. There are lots of Kikyo haters here. Like I said. I'm a Kikyo hater too and I'm proud of it. ^___^ Please keep reviewing. Sakura Ch.7: The Beginning of the Search
The sun rose and shined brightly. The gang were all prepared to face what they feared the most.
"Can you hurry up already?!" Inuyasha shouted.
"Hold on, Inuyasha. I must make sure Sango is alright." Miroku said.
Sango woke up a while now, to everyone's surprise, and was saying she wanted to go too, but everyone told her no.
"You are not well enough yet, Sango." Miroku said.
"I am well enough. Why can't I go?!"
"I just told you." Miroku answered.
Sango sighed and mumbled, "Fine."
Miroku smiled. "Good. Now get some rest. We'll be back soon."
"Wait!" Sango yelled as he was about to leave the hut.
"What is it?"
"...Just...be careful."
"...Don't worry. We'll be back before you know it." Miroku left the hut to meet Inuyasha and Kouga.
"So we're just gonna let Kagome stay here?" Kouga asked.
"...what do you think?" Inuyasha asked.
"Then how are we gonna get her soul back?"
"I believe that if the mirror breaks, then the soul will go back to its rightful owner." Miroku said.
"...Fine. I'll get back Kagome's soul and beat the shit out of Naraku." Kouga said with pride and dignity.
"What do you mean 'I'? Don't you mean we?" Miroku said.
"What can a useless monk and a mutt face do?"
"I'll show you what a mutt face can do!!!" Inuyasha shouted and charged at Kouga, but Kouga dodged easily and Inuyasha fell to the ground.
"Wow. Now I really can confirm my theory of mutt faces like you." Kouga said and laughed.
"Why you..." Inuyasha said and stood up. He wiped the dirt off his face and was about to charge at Kouga, but Miroku stopped him.
"Inuyasha! Stop it. We must get going before the day is over."
"If you want me to stop then tell that wimpy wolf to stay the hell away from me!"
Miroku sighed and shook his head. 'Why did this have to happen on such an important day?' Miroku thought.
Kaede came out of a hut and walked over next to Miroku. "I see they are at it again."
Miroku just nodded.
"Are ye finished yet?" Kaede asked when the two boys stopped arguing.
When Kaede didn't hear an answer, she took it as a yes. "...Now...do ye know what path ye will taking?"
"Not exactly. Inuyasha and Kouga wanted to try to pick up Kagura's or Kanna's scent and follow it."
"...Alright. Do the best and I wish each of ye good luck."
"Don't worry. We'll be back sooner than you think." Kouga said.
"...I hope so..." Kaede said.
"Watch the others while we're gone." Inuyasha said.
"I will."
"Ok. We're off." Miroku said.
The three left to where Kagome and Sango were yesterday to see if Kagura's or Kanna's scent was left.
'I do hope they will be safe. Naraku will be expecting them and probably has something in stored for them. I wish them the bests of luck.' With that, Kaede entered the hut Sango and Kagome were in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"...well?" Miroku said.
"...here it is!" Inuyasha said and stood up. "I smell their scent. Now all we have to do is follow it."
"Ok. Let's go already." Kouga said and lead the way.
Inuyasha got furious. Who was he to order him around and plus he was the one who found the scent. Isn't he the one who was supposed to be leading the way?
"Wait a m-
Miroku cut him off by covering Inuyasha's mouth with his hand. "Let's just go Inuyasha. We don't have anytime to waste."
"Let go of me!" Inuyasha said. Miroku left go slowly, but when he did Inuyasha started to yell his lungs off. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"Nothing, bickering is just a waste of time and if we don't hurry the day will be over. Then we will have to camp out in the woods and we don't want Kagome to be waiting now do we?"
The scenes of him of stroking Kagome's cheek came into Inuyasha's mind. He thought about how cold they were and how paled she looked. "...fine. You made your point."
"Glad you see it my way." Miroku said. "Whatever." Inuyasha replied.
"What's taking you guys so long?!" Kouga said from a great distance away from them.
Inuyasha and Miroku headed up to Kouga. "It took long enough." Kouga said. "Come on now." The three followed the scent while not knowing that someone was watching their every movement. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the hut
"How are ye feeling, Sango?" Kaede asked.
"..Better, but I still feel weak."
"Then get some more rest."
Sango sighed. "How can I when right now...the others could be in danger?"
"Do not worry about them. They can manage."
Sango sighed again. "..okay...I hope they come back safe with Kagome's soul." Sango looked behind her and saw Kagome laying down lifelessly. She turned around to the front to face Kaede. "...Where are Shippou...and Kirara?" Sango asked.
"...hmm. I haven't seen them for a while now. I will go look for them."
"Okay then."
Kaede left the hut and searched for Shippou and Kirara.
'...how did things get like this...? If I were-
Sango snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked behind her and her eyes widen. She gasped when she felt a great pain in her shoulder. She then fainted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ok. Done with this chapter. PlZ r&r. I'm really surprised. 70 something reviews for 6 chapters. Not that I'm complaining about it. Yeah. I'm sticking with my idea for Kikyo or...maybe not.
