Chapter 13: The Calm Before The Storm
A man was in his car driving to work. He was also looking at a video message from his two kids, Mahoro and Katsuma.
"Don't worry Daddy, I'll be taking good care of Katsuma while you're away!" Mahoro said.
"I love you Daddy, be safe!" Katsuma said.
The man smiled and started to drive. But something was wrong. His car wasn't starting. Someone was approaching from behind. It was Stain. He came closer to the man.
"No…. No!" he said, "NOOOOOOOOO!"
Back at U.A, Class 1A was having a hero class. There were robots running amock causing trouble. Groups of three were gonna go around and fight off the robots while keeping damage to a bare minimum.
"So who's next?" Aizawa asked.
"I'll go," Izuku said.
"Same here," Ochako said.
"Go Papa and Mama!" Eri said.
She was wearing a Deku Onesie that Ochako wanted to surprise Izuku with, courtesy of Momo. Izuku and Ochako went into the city and started working together to take out a few robots. Izuku started using blackwhip to capture a few faux villains, then curled them all into a ball, before slamming them down on the ground. Ochako decided to use one of her new support items.
She had a few hooks that she attached to a few objects she made weightless. She then released the objects to the ground, destroying a few Faux Villains. Class 1A was amazed by how much work the two of them put into their quirks. Eri was being held by Momo as she watched.
"Papa and Mama are amazing," Eri said.
"Yes, they sure are," Katsuki said, "But maybe you all shouldn't forget who's gonna be the greatest."
"Bakugo be nice," Aizawa said.
"Maybe you should remember who the future No 1 hero is," Eri said.
"Oh!" Aizawa said surprised by that smart remark, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Later on Izuku and Ochako came back to the main room.
"Mama Papa you were so cool!" Eri said.
Ochako picked her up and raised her high.
"Thank you sweetie," Ochako said.
Later on, everyone was back at the dorms. They were getting ready for a surprise visit from someone. The doorbell rang and Iida answered the door. It was the Wild Wild Pussycats!
"Its been a minute hasn't it kittens!" Pixie Bob said with a smirk.
"Hope we didn't rain on your parade," Ringleader said.
"Oh no, we were just getting the place ready for your arrival," Izuku said.
Mandalay bowed to the class.
"There were times during the Training Camp where we couldn't protect you all, but I hope you'll forgive us," she stated.
"Aww we're all good, right?" Jiro asked.
"Paw pad buns! They brought us Paw pad buns!" Mina, Ochako and Toru exclaimed.
Izuku noticed Kota and rushed over to him shaking his hand.
"Kota, thank you for that card you gave me the other day, I'll treasure it forever."
"Whatever…" Kota said.
"Hey Izuku, do those look familiar?" Mandalay asked
She pointed to a pair of red sneakers that belong to Izuku.
"He picked those out himself and said they had to be red."
"No no, its not what you-" Kota began.
"Well, looks like we match," Izuku said.
Kota smiled before noticing someone looking at him.
"Hey Deku, who's this?" he asked.
"Oh, this is my daughter Eri," Izuku said.
"Uhhhhhh aren't you a little young to be a dad?" Rag Doll asked.
"Oh no, I adopted her," Izuku stated.
"Well aren't you an adorable little kitten," Pixie Bob said getting close.
Mandalay turned to Kota and said, "Go on, say hi."
Kota walked up to Eri.
"Hi, I'm Kota," he said.
"I'm Eri," Eri said, "How did you meet my papa?"
"Well..."
Flashback
Kota punched Izuku in the groin.
Flashback end
"It's uh... best not to talk about it." He said.
He noticed the horn on her head.
"We match," he said
"Huh?" Eri said as she noticed the horns on his hat. "We DO match!"
"Alright. I only knew Eri for a few minutes but if anything happens to her, I will kill everyone here and then myself." Kota said.
"Let's not go that far…" Izuku said.
The door opened once again revealing Sir Nighteye, much to Izuku's annoyance.
"What do you want?" Izuku asked.
"I'll make it plain and simple," Sir Nighteye said, "I would like to take custody of Eri so I can do some experiments on her. We discovered why Chisaki was doing this, to create drugs to erase quirks. So we're thinking of doing the same thing and using this against the villains."
A pulse popped into Izuku's head.
"You're out of your mind if you think I'm agreeing to that," Izuku told him.
"I don't think you understand Midoriya, this is not a request! You can give her to me. Or I can take her by force."
"NO!" Izuku shouted, "We just got Eri over this stuff and the last thing we need is for you to-"
Nighteye used his cane and attacked Izuku sending him falling to the floor.
"Give. Me. The. Child." Nighteye said, this time with sheer anger and malice.
Eri kicked Nighteye in the shin.
"You leave my papa alone you big bully!"
"You're coming with me child," Nighteye said, "You'll make a great weapon against the villains."
He reached to take Eri, however Katsuki got in the way, crackling a few small explosions in his hand in a threatening matter.
"Come near my niece, and I'll show you who's really a weapon," he said.
"And risk getting arrested?" Nighteye asked, "Not likely."
"Try me!" Katsuki shouted.
Other people came to his aid, including Aizawa.
"If you wanna get to the child you'll have to go through me," he said.
"And me," Kirishima said.
"Me too!" Mina said, "Nobody attack OUR Midori like that and gets away with it!"
"You all will move out of the way THIS INSTANT!" Sir Nighteye said, "I'm taking this girl with me and that's final!"
"You will do no such thing," Principal Nezu said, coming in, "Time and time you came here just to spite young Midoriya because he was chosen to be All Might's successor, and now you try and intervene with his personal life?"
"The only thing I'm trying to do is to use those same bullets that Chisaki was making and use them against villains! Eri would be doing society a huge favor if she just gave herself up!" Nighteye said.
"Nighteye, there are many other ways to stop villains and this is the worst way I have ever heard." Nezu noted.
"No, the worst way to take down a villain is the way Midoriya does it!" Nighteye argued, "He breaks his bones constantly, and he recklessly destroyed an investigation against Chisaki! He would've done me a favor if he just gave the girl back to that man!"
"For your information, Nighteye. I haven't broken a single bone lately!" Izuku told him.
"This is your last chance Midoriya," Nighteye said, "Give me the girl."
"I have no choice," Nezu said, "Sir Nighteye, you are hereby banned from U.A premises. Now please leave before I call authorities."
Nighteye simply walked out of the room.
"You'll see," Izuku said, "I'll become a great hero AND I'll help Eri get better at her quirk.
"Yes," Nighteye said, "And then when she erases you from existence, you'll begin to realize you just made the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE!"
The door began to close. Just as it was about to close, Eri was able to flip Nighteye the bird. Everyone had a surprised Pikachu expression on their face.
"Eri, while I do appreciate that, WHO TAUGHT YOU HOW TO DO THAT?!" Izuku asked.
Ochako was standing to the side whistling to herself.
'Maybe I'll just keep this to myself,' she thought
"So what brings you by Mr. Aizawa?" Izuku asked.
"Well, I was on patrol, and I saw two kids," Aizawa said, "One of them said they know you Midoriya."
He stood to the side, revealing Mahoro and KAtsuma.
"Hey its that boy I saw earlier," Izuku said.
He noticed something was wrong. The boy looked sad.
"Its my daddy," Katsuma said, "He was injured…."
"By who?" Izuku asked.
"The Hero Killer," Aizawa answered.
"This seems strange," Momo stated, "He and his lackeys seem to be going after specific targets. Why?"
"That's why we're going to find out," Aizawa said, "We did some research and it turns out all their organized plans take place in the city of Hosu."
"Where Grandpa stays..." Izuku said.
"Wait, Gran Torino is your grandpa?" Todoroki asked.
"Don't change the subject Shoto," Izuku said.
"What I'm about to say is important so listen up," Aizawa began, "Midoriya. Yaoyorozu. Todoroki. Iida. Kirishima. You five have had ome kind of contact with Hero Killer and or his lackeys. I should assume Midoriya faced him head on."
"Yes." Izuku said. "Rumors are that he killed heroes that he thought were false heroes or corrupt heroes. Even as a villain, he had morals. He only went after those said heroes but he would never hurt nor kill civilians for no reason. It seems suspicious."
"Had the situation been more grim than it is now, we would've had the work studies cancelled effective immediately. However you all seem capable enough of handling him. But you should be mindful," Aizawa said, "Some of you may have relatives of family members that have been attacked by this man, but rest assured we're doing our job and we will catch him."
"No you're not doing oyur job," Iida said, "I saw my brother in stable condition and nobody did a thing to stop this. Now you're talking about investigations and witnisses? Why wasn't I told about this?"
"Iida settle down-" Aizawa began.
"I have no goddamn intention of settling down!" Iida shouted, "THIS BASTARD ENDED MY BROTHER'S CAREER AND HE'S STILL OUT THERE!"
He ran out of the dorms. Izuku tried to chase after him.
"Iida!" Izuku said.
Aizawa stopped Izuku from chasing after him.
"Just give him space Midoriya," Aizawa said, "I honestly don't blame him."
