Sakura Ch.8: Controlled
"Sango?! What has happened?!" Kaede yelled as she stepped in the hut followed by Shippou and Kirara.
Sango slowly opened her eyes. When her eyes were focused, she sat up right away.
"Sango?" Shippou said. "What happened?"
"...I...saw...Kagome. She attacked me and...I think she just vanished." Sango said. "Ow!" Sango held the shoulder that was wounded and winced.
"...Kagome...attacked ye? How is that possible? She is nothing without a soul. Unless...Kanna is the one who is controlling Kagome." Kaede said while tending to Sango's wound.
"...I think that's it. I'm starting to get worried about the others." Sango said.
"Where are Inuyasha and the others anyway?" Shippou asked. "And what happened to Kagome"
"Inuyasha, Miroku, and Kouga are on their way to Naraku, and Kagome...she is...I believe she is being controlled by Kanna." Kaede said. "But do not worry. Inuyasha will find a way to safe Kagome."
"What?!! They left and didn't bother to tell me?!! And Kagome's in danger!!? How come no one ever tells me anything?!" Shippou yelled and crossed his arms.
"Shippou, they didn't want you to worry. That's why they didn't tell you and don't worry about Kagome. They'll safe her, but for me...I'm going with them to Naraku." Sango said and stood up.
"Ye are not well enough to go to battle. You must rest." Kaede said.
"I'm going and that's final. Kirara. Wait for me outside. I'm going to get my things." Sango went to get her weapons and her battle suit on. When she was prepared, she went outside the hut.
"I want to come!" Shippou said.
"No Shippou, you have to stay here. It's too dangerous." Sango said while getting on Kirara's large form.
"But that's not fair! Everyone else gets to go. Why can't I go?!"
"I told you. It's too dangerous." Sango said gently.
Shippou looked down with a sad face. "Shippou, come here." Sango said.
Shippou looked up and saw Sango waiting for him to get on her lap. He ran up to her and sat on her lap.
"Okay. Let's make a deal. If you stay here then I'll try to get Kagome to get all your favorite treats from her time."
Shippou thought about for a minute and decided to go with the deal. "...Okay, but you promise?"
"Yep. I promise. Let's shake hands." Sango held out her hand and Shippou shook it with his hand. "Now go back with Kaede and behave okay?"
"Okay. Be careful though and make sure you keep your promise." Shippou said and headed back to Kaede.
Kaede watched the whole thing and smiled. "Be careful Sango and come back safely." Kaede said.
"I will." Sango said and then left with Kirara. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With the Boys
"...hmm...the scent is gone." Inuyasha said and stood up from the ground where he was sniffing.
"Gone? Are you sure?" Kouga said and started to sniff.
"Told you." Inuyasha said.
"I didn't say you were wrong."
"I didn't say that you did say I was wrong." Inuyasha said.
Miroku sighed again. He knew where this was going. 'Another fight.' He thought. "Well...why don't you two try to think of another way of getting back on track than fighting?"
"No one asked you." Inuyasha said.
"Hey! Isn't that girl? Sango?" Kouga said while looking up.
"Sango? What is she doing here? I told her to stay at the village." Miroku said.
Kirara landed on the ground with Sango on top. She hopped off and walked towards the other three.
"Kirara and I were looking for you everywhere!" Sango said.
"What are you doing here?" Inuyasha asked.
"I wanted to come and I have some news."
"What is it?" Kouga said.
"Well...it's something about Kagome."
Inuyasha's head snapped up. "What about her?"
"Well...she's gone." Sango said.
Inuyasha gave her a death glare. "What do you mean 'she's gone'?"
"Let me explain. Isn't it true that Kanna can control anyone who she stole a soul from? Well...Kaede and I think that's the reason. Kagome attacked me and just disappeared."
"Damn it! And we just lost the trail too. This is just fucked up." Inuyasha said.
Suddenly an arrow flew past Inuyasha and hit a tree trunk. He looked where the arrow came from and his eyes widen. '...Kagome...?'
Kagome was standing right in front of them with Kanna and Kagura behind her. Kagome shot another arrow and it flew right at Inuyasha, but he dodged.
"Release Kagome right now!" Inuyasha shouted.
"Really Inuyasha. Do you really think we are that stupid to do that?" Kagura said.
"Yeah. You are stupid if you think you're not gonna get hurt!" Inuyasha said and was about to take Tetsusaiga out but...
"Hold it right there! If you plan to attack us, you better think first. We have this girl under our control. We can do whatever we want with her. Even kill her." Kagura said.
The last sentence kept repeating in Inuyasha's mind. "Fine. Have it your way. I won't attack."
"Good."
"What the hell do you want with us then?!" Kouga said.
"Oh. How rude you are. We are just here to tell you where Naraku is. He is very happy that you all are coming." Kagura said with a bit of evilness in her voice. "If you go straight ahead you will meet a rather large castle. There you will find Naraku, us, and also your precious Kagome." Kagura, Kanna, and Kagome disappeared and left the others to stare at each other.
"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's get moving!" Inuyasha said and walked the direction Kagura told them to go.
"Inuyasha! Wait! Don't you think it's some sort of trap?" Miroku said.
"Well, what do you suppose we do? We have no other choice." Inuyasha said.
Sango and Kirara walked behind Inuyasha while Miroku and Kouga were trying to catch up.
When they arrived, they stopped a few feet from the castle. It was rather large and the area was gloomy everywhere. It was dark and it seemed that smoke was all around the castle.
"Naraku! Show yourself!" Inuyasha said.
Then a very large figure appeared. Inuyasha's eyes widen again when he saw who the large figure was holding.
The large figure gave out a laugh (A/n: Evil laugh. Not good laugh.) and said, "So Inuyasha...we meet again...but this time will be the last." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
