"Hmm….all done." She shut off her laptop, moved back in her chair and stretched. "Now I wonder how long it will take for me to get a response." She stood up and walked to the kitchen. "Dinner is in order." She pulled out a cutting board, and a knife. Opening the fridge door she started humming a melody. Reaching for the tomatoes she thought back to her situation at hand. 'Well, it can't possibly be that hard to get a job, I have 3 years of experience, what else do you need?' grabbing some lettuce, cucumbers and sauces she went back to work on dinner.

"Now who could that be?" She moved over to the phone in the next room and put it on speaker.
"Hello?" pause, nod "yes that will be fine." Pause, blink "yes, of-coarse." Pause "No, thank you, I look forward to it. Good-bye" Click
Then she smiled. "I never though I'd find a job that fast." She walked back to the kitchen with a light bounce to her step, humming the previously forgotten melody yet again.

"I'mgointtobelate, I'mgointtobesooolate!" That was followed by an 'eep', a 'thud' and an 'ouch'. Bare feet padded around the hardwood floor in a hurry, squeaking from time to time about one thing or another. "I really should think about getting a working alarm clock." After that there was flop, flop, slide, slam, squeak and "Boyou! You stupid cat, get out of my way" which was answered with a lazy "Meow" as an incredibly fat orange cat made it's way to the kitchen, where another more demanded "meow" reminded it's owner that she had yet to give out breakfast. "Ugh, crap, I'm late on my first day. Boyou your going on a diet today, or I'm sure I'll get fired and well both go on one."
She grabbed her suitcase, keys and jacket jumping around on one foot and trying to put on her shoes, made it for the door. "Ok Boyou, be good, I'll bring you dinner later." With that the door slammed shut, and she ran for the elevator.
The car ride to the office was uneventful. Her stomach however realized it hadn't been fed this morning and made it known to its owner. "Ugh, I hope it doesn't do that in front of my boss." With that last though she parked in front of a large, glass building. It really did look beautiful, with large silver letters spelling Western Corp.
She walked into the lobby, looking around curiously. The only noise being the heels of her shoes clicking against the dark marble floor. She walked to the front desk with a polite smile on her face. She waited until the person at the desk looked up at her. About 2 minutes she was still waiting. 'Ok lets try something else'
--Clears throat-- The girl looked up from her magazine. "Oh, you are still there? How may I help you?" she asked with the same polite smile on her face.
"I'm Kagome Higurashi, I got a call about a job opening yesterday, where do I have to go?" The other girl immediately wiped the smile on her face and answered in a cold voice.
"Go up to the 19th floor, last door at the end of the hall, knock before going in." and then went back to her magazine. 'Rude much?' with a roll of her eyes, Kagome made her way to the meeting place.
She stopped in front of the door, and took a deep breath. ' Well here goes nothing.' With that she knocked, and slowly opened the door…
