I AM SOOOOOO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT!!!!!!!! I've been REALLY busy so I hope everyone understands. cries and yeah,......I've been out of ideas, but don't worry, I'll get this story over, even if it's the last things I do. .

Sanosa: Tell every one at the beginning of the next chapter that Naraku gave Kanna a few Jewel shards to put in her mirror so it has more space to hold souls or something like that. Other than that it was ooc. Big Sakura: Yeah, I was going to tell you guys, but I forgot so thanks Sanosa for reminding me.

Big Sakura: People asked me if Kanna is the one who sucks the soul and Kagura is the one who controls them, but Kagura can only control people when they're dead, right? Well, correct me if I'm mistaken. I need to thank Melanie for that.

Well, I don't think I can e-mail people when I add new chapters. Sorry. Um...why does this happen to me?! I always forget what I'm going to say to you guys. Ok. Some of you might know, but my other story, HighSchool Love, is posted up, but I lost my reviews and I'm trying to get them back. I was changing grammar and spelling in chapter one and I had to remove the story just to do that. TT. Plz try reading it. I would really appreciate it, but anyways, thanks again to the reviewers. Sakura Ch. 10: Finally Done

Boom

They finally did it. Naraku was destroyed. No more looking for jewel shards, no more fights for them, no more quests, it was all done, and most of all, Kagome was safe, safe in Inuyasha's arms.

Inuyasha made a small grin when he saw Naraku blowing up into smithereens. His companions walked slowly up to him and smiled.

The sun came up and birds started chirping. There was a breeze blowing through and made everyone's hair and clothing fly up.

Inuyasha held Kagome tightly against his chest. He looked down at her sleeping form and smiled. "...It's over, Kagome."

"Kagome?"

"..Hmm..." Kagome opened her eyes slowly, only to find amber eyes looking down at her. "In-Inuyasha...what happened?"

"Don't worry about it, I'll tell you later," Inuyasha said.

Kagome struggled to remember what happened.

'...Wait...didn't I see Inuyasha...with Kikyo?... I did!'

Kagome turned around so she wasn't facing Inuyasha. "...Inuyasha...Kikyo was there, wasn't she?"

"W-what?"

"Kikyo was there, wasn't she?" Kagome repeated.

Flashback

"Kikyo?! Are you alright?!" Inuyasha asked with concern in his voice when he found Kikyo with wounds and cuts. (A/N: Not as bad as Kagome's though.)

"...Yes, I'm fine, but what about my reincarnation?"

"We have to get you back somewhere safe first. Her wounds can't be as bad as yours." Inuyasha said, not even trying to look for Kagome.

End of Flashback

Inuyasha didn't answer, even though he knew it wasn't the real Kikyo.

"You don't have to answer, Inuyasha. I know the answer," Kagome said. "...She is the one you love after all."

Inuyasha's heart felt as if it was ripped out and stomped on.

"Kagome...I-

"Don't bother, Inuyasha. I...I don't want to hear it," Kagome said.

Inuyasha kept quiet. He stood up slowly and made his way out of the hut they were in.

Kagome started crying softly. She tried to hold the tears, but it just kept flowing down. It hurt too much.

"Inuyasha, I need to speak to ye," Kaede said.

Inuyasha followed Kaede into a hut and they both sat down.

"Well? What do you need to talk about?" Inuyasha said.

"...Ye did an excellent job on finishing Naraku.

Flashback

Kouga, Sango, and Miroku came up with a plan. They would all fight Kanna and Kagura for Kagome's soul.

Luckily, they succeed. Now, it was Inuyasha's part. He used all of his remaining strength to finish off Naraku and fortunately, it worked. He went over to the group and found Kagome in Kouga's arms.

"What the hell do you think you're doing with Kagome?!" Inuyasha shouted.

"Inuyasha, calm down, we don't need any more fighting," Sango said.

"Inuyasha, I leave Kagome in your care. I'm going back to my pack to heal my wounds, but don't I'm not coming back," Kouga said. He lifted Kagome into Inuyasha's arms and ran off.

End of Flashback

"Now, the Shikon Jewel is complete, am I correct?" Kaede said.

"Yeah, what about it?" Inuyasha said.

"When Kagome is well, we will have to discuss what will happen to the Jewel. Do you have anything in mind, Inuyasha?" Kaede said.

Inuyasha stayed silent.

"Well, how is Kagome doing?" Kaede asked, trying to change the subject.

"....Alright, I think...," Inuyasha answered.

"I see, I will go take a look at her," Kaede said. She exited the hut and went off to Kagome while Inuyasha just sat there, wondering what to do.

"Ow! Sango, can you please be gentler?"

"Sorry, Miroku," Sango said. She was in a hut with Miroku while tending to his wounds.

"There, I'm done," Sango said.

"Thank you," Miroku said with a smile.

"I'm going to go check on Kagome," Sango said and was about to head out the hut, but a hand caught her wrist before she could do so. Sango turned around to find Miroku looking at her with concern.

"What about your wounds, Sango? Have you tended them yet?" Miroku asked.

"Of course, what kind of person would I be if I didn't?" Sango said. She put on a smile to reassure him she was alright.

"Ok then. Let's go see Lady Kagome together," Miroku said. The two left the hut and went to see Kagome.

Kagome heard someone coming towards the hut so she pretended to be asleep. Kaede entered the hut and made way to Kagome.

"Kagome?" Kaede softly said, trying to get the girl to awake.

Kagome mentally sighed in relieve and thought, 'It's only Kaede......' She opened her eyes to fins Kaede looking straight at her. "Yes?"

"How are ye feeling?" Kaede said.

"...Well...better...I guess," Kagome answered.

"That is good," Kaede said. "...I have something important to discuss with ye."

"...What is it...?" Kagome asked.

"It is concerning the Jewel. What will ye do with it?" Kaede said while looking at the complete Jewel hanging around Kagome's neck.

"What will I do?" Kagome said.

"Yes, what will ye do with it?" Kaede said.

Kagome went into deep thinking and said, "Kaede...do you think it would be wise to give it to Inuyasha?"

"...It depends, I suppose. It depends on the way he wants to use it. He may use it to become full-demon, but that would not be such a great choice for him," Kaede said. When she saw the worried expression on Kagome's face, she said, "Do not worry about it, Kagome. Ye may think about it some other time, but right now, just get some rest."

"Thank you, Kaede," Kagome said.

Kaede left the hut and went off to tend other villagers, not seeing Kikyo's soul-catchers come by...
