Disclaimer: I don't own Legolas. If some facts are slightly screwed or just plain wrong, sorry, but I had to change it so the poem flowed.

A Farewell to Legolas

Strong and fast and fleet of arrow,
Swifter far than any sparrow,
Gold-gleaming hair and fair of features,
Friend to even woodland-creatures.

Clothed in green, brown and sky blue
Carrying a bow, arrows and a short sword or two.
Deadly to orcs, precious to man
Arrow fly loose like a slight of hand.

Compassionate, caring and aloof
Stating the obvious, and not obtuse.
A friend to dwarf and a friend to man,
Helping others, but on your own feet you stand.

Long-lived and promise keeper,
Sticking close, even when paths grow steeper.
Sailing over seas of gold,
The ocean has you in her hold.

Lost to Middle Earth and friends,
Life with Elves, now, truly ends.
Good-bye, sweet Legolas,
Sailing on a sea of Glass.
Good-Bye, Prince of Elves,
Now no one remains but ourselves.

Hope you liked it!
