My friend wrote this poem awhile back. She doesn't have an account here so she asked me to post it and I finally got around to do it.
BROKEN HEART
This wounded heart
will bleed and bleed
over you,
the one I need.
You gave me hope
and a memory,
so when I look at you
that's what I see.
This pain hurts,
this pain is real,
you can't even imagine
what I feel.
Seeing you
there with her,
the pain gets worse
towards no cure.
I had a taste
of life with you,
to feel what It'd be like
with just us two.
Maybe some day
this will be
a relationship,
not just a memory.
We'd be good
and so cute,
just like a tie
on a suit.
But I have my doubts
that you two will part,
so I'll stay here
with my broken heart.
