WHEN MIA MET ANDREW

It was a very sunny day in Genovia and iwas sat at her tower window starring into the early morning atmosphere. The birds were singing, the trees where blowing and the sun was very bright. Fat Louis was sleeping on his purple cushion next to me.

" oh Louis, I wish we were home right now. I miss Lily and Michael very much" I said to my beloved cat.

Louis continued purring away.

" I know you can't hear me but you are the only one who listens to me. I sometimes feel very lonely. You the only one who has time to talk! Grandma is always dashing here and there, Joe is always busy and lets just say the maids can't understand anything I say, speaking Spanish."

Louis continued purring

I sighed. What's the point? I was begging to regret being a princess.

Suddenly the doorbell for my room was rung.

I left Fat Louis to his own devices and hurtled down the stairs into the Foyer. Standing in the Foyer was Clarrisse, Joe and someone I have never seen before in my life.

" Mia darling, I'd like you to meet George Stambrig, he was a close friend of your father's" Announced the Queen.

" Hello Dear Mia, I'd hoped I would meet you someday" George introduced himself.

I didn't intending on being so rude and not reply. But I was distracted by a vision of beauty and wonder. A tall-ish boy with dark hair, dark eyes and broad shoulders.

Queen Clarrisse realised what she was staring at.

"oh and this is Andrew Stambrig, George's son " said Clarrise

Andrew's and my eyes met one another's. I could tell they would get along very well.

One week later

George and Andrew had stayed in the palace for a week now. They had shared ruling problems, Finacial problems and generally helped out. But one thing that everyone has noticed is that myself and Andrew were getting along very well indeed.

We have done so much together in the past week, played tennis, painted pictures, read some books and even opened the new library in the main city!

We also went to the local hospital to visit the poorly children.

But there is always and end to great things and this was one of them. It was time for George and Andrew to leave the palace to return to their own home.

Before the two men departed, Andrew had to say a few words to Me:

" Mia, I have enjoyed it deeply being with you this past week and I think we have got along very well and I do wish to see you again. but I cannot help the feeling that you were 'coming on' to me. I know I haven't told you but, I have a girlfriend. Her name is Louise. I am so sorry"

Then he left.

That's it I give up with men completely!
