Disclaimer: These characters do not belong to me, they belong to Kishimoto. I'm making no profit whatsoever by writing this.

As I sit here, they must be looking for me. I mean, I'm usually the first to be there, so they'll notice pretty quickly that I'm missing, but maybe they'll think I'm just sick. It doesn't matter anyway. In a few moments, nothing will matter. Not my love for Sasuke, nor his continual dismissal of me.

Look at me. I'm pathetic. I can't even solve my problems on my own, so I take the quick way out. Can you blame me? I mean, I've been trying the long way for what, four years? More? And it's not like I can ask my team mates for advice on this.

I recently learned that Sasuke loves Naruto. It tore me apart. I can't believe I didn't see it earlier though, it's so obvious when you think about it. But that doesn't matter.

I think, Will they find me? Does it matter? as I slowly take a kunai from my holster. I look at it, admiring its deadly beauty and metallic gleam. I then say goodbye one last time as I slit open both my wrists.

Scene switch

While taking her early morning walk through the forest, Tsunade witnesses the girl laying besides a tree, huge gashes in her arms and the kunai that did them on the ground. As she puts all of her energy into healing the young one, she is grateful, because by the looks of things, not much blood has spilled yet.

Even though the wounds are deep, the girl should be waking up by now. What's wrong? The gennin then coughs up blood, as her heart stops beating.

Scene Switch

She jumped off the cliff, plummeting head first towards the ground below. She thinks about freedom as she hits the rocks and her skull caves in on itself, piercing her brain.

She does not think anymore, for she died on impact.

After the ceremony, the Godaime lingers near the poor deceased girl's gasket, reprimanding herself for not having caught on earlier. It made sense, using her family's jutsu to fool everyone that might want to stop her foolish plan. She caresses the blond locks of silky hair, addresses a small prayer to her, and slowly walks back to the Hokage tower.

End

What do you think? I hope you guessed who it was, but if you didn't, e-mail me and I'll try to get around to tell you. Anyone, any sugestions on fics?
