Lost
You made me feel
like I've never felt before,
as if I was special,
as if I were something more.
Those sweet words you would say
to me when I was down,
you could make me smile
when I was stuck in a frown.
I remember those days
when we would sit on your couch,
your arm around me,
as if you would forever vouch.
You'd give me a kiss,
I'd kiss you right back,
we're stuck in this moment,
there's nothing it lacks.
So many times
I got lost in your eyes,
Just thinking about what we had
makes me want to cry.
I can't believe its over,
Its too hard to conceive.
And the fact that I ended it,
that's even harder to believe.
