And, just as Furrball entered the room, his face fell in shock at the sight of hundreds of cages which trap many animals who started to stare at him in confusion.
"Oh my Spielberg...", said the blue feline in astonishment, never thinking he will have to deal with being on the opposite end of these cages, especially since he can't see his beloved yet.
"Fifi, where are you!", shouted Furrball as hard as he can, hoping for a response from his girlfriend.
"I am here mon amore!", came Fifi voice from afar, which prompted the blue feline to go where where his beloved resides.
He started to run the only way possible, until amongst the cages he saw a passing familiar purple shape, and stopped to be finally reunited with his 'feline' girlfriend.
"Fifi!", exclaimed Furrball in joy, as he closed the distance between himself and the cage, until the two of them were only separated by the very cage bars, yet the two lovers managed to hold their hands together.
"I knew vous would come, Furrball!", responded the french 'kitten', with a smile that made tthe blue cat heart melt in happiness at seeing her again, which also darkened his furry cheeks.
"N-No way!", stuttered the orange black cat Gavin, who couldn't believe his eyes at seeing the young couple reunited.
"I told you mouser!", barked the old shepherd in joy.
"I'm so sorry for being this late Fifi, but, our troubles are far from over...", replied Furrball, saddened to say these words to his girlfriend that has waited so long in this cage.
"What do you mean, mon amore?", questioned the trapped 'kitten', as Furrball let go of her hands, and turned to face the other caged animals.
"Everyone, can I have your attention?", asked the blue cat, loud enough for the trapped animals to hear him, and eye their mysterious visitor.
"I am Furrball, some of you may know me as the unlucky cat that got locked in here almost all his life just to find a family that is not Elmyra, and..."
"Yeah, Yeah!", interfered Gavin, looking at Furrball not amused by his 'speech'. "Kiddo, I can already tell you don't have the charisma or wits to make us help you for an escape attempt, so give up on your stupid speech!"
"You don't understand, I can get all of us out!", declared Furrball looking confident, and the other prisoners looking at him wide-eyed. "Right now, in the lobby my friend Calamity is working on opening the cages, and I need everyone to help us!"
"How are you so sure your friend can open these cages, since all of us tried and failed?", asked the black orange cat, having a hard time believing there exists someone that could open these cages except the two employees.
"Just waait aand...", as Furrball declared earlier, a sound was heard from the locks of every cage, which prompted Fifi and the others to try and open their cage doors, who oppened easily.
"Furrball!", exalted Fifi, as in an instant grabbed her boyfriend with her 'feline' tail and kissed him lovingly on the lips.
"Ugh! We get it missy, you love him.", said Gavin in a tired tone, now out of his cage as well the other animals who started to surround their blue rescuer. "Now, tell me kiddo, how did you and your friend do it?"
"It's part of the plan, you see...", and as Furrball began his explication, the scenery changed, at a familiar moment.
Flashback...
"So...", paused Cliff, looking at Furrball, ready for whatever he's got for them "What's the plan Lerxst?"
"It's simple!", exclaimed Furrball, looking to his coyote friend. "Calamity, can you open the doors if you have a computer?"
"Yes, I can, but it's not going to be easy.", responded the young coyote looking at the employees only door. "The lock on this door seems almost as advanced as the one I use for my lab, and, since in that room are the caged animals, I assume they also have locks that are similar, so it's going to take a while."
"But, you can do it, right?", asked Furrball, knowing very well the grey coyote answer already.
"I'm not Professor Wile E pupil just for wanting to catch Beeper, but also for being quite smart.", responded Calamity with a prideful grin.
"Well, it was clear as day, or as night in this case that Pratt would get the tech stuff, but what about my part Lerxst?", asked Cliff, looking ready for some action and time to shine.
"Uh, you will be the ears of the plan Cliff!", explained the blue leader, knowing Cliff wouldn't like his part, but knew how to make it more important. "With the workers oustide, you will be on the lookout and even if the doors are blocked you will listen, and alert us in case they're trying anything that will affect our plan!"
"And what about you?", asked Cliff, crossing his arms.
"Once I'm in, I'll find Fifi, then convince the other caged animals to help us.", Furrball said firmly, as it was natural for him to do this, which earned shocked glares from his friends.
"Y-You're kidding, ...right?", stammered the tan cat, not looking happy with his blue friend role in his 'master' plan.
"Dude, are you sure they'll listen to you?", pointed out Cliff, looking hesistant to continue. " ...even you said that you're a bad leader, and, in there may be hundreds of trapped animals that won't take orders from a kid, ...especially a cat."
"I know that Cliff, and, since I was in their situation many times, I know they'll help us.", responded the blue leader, looking at the door. "...It's a gamble I'm willing to take if it means saving Fifi and all of us getting out of this place in one piece."
"And there's nothing that will change your mind, so we should work together with the only plan we have, right?", finished the tan cat, knowing that Furrball is right now to stubborn to change his mind.
"Yes, it's not the best plan, but are you with me?", asked Furrball, as he looked at his friends waiting for a reply.
"You know very well the answer from both of us Lerxst!", reassured the tan cat, as he extended his hand, which prompted Furrball and Calamity to do the same and join hands.
End of Flashback...
The background is changed to normal, showing once again Furrball with Fifi, amongst the other animals, who are still eyeing the blue cat Furrball with suspicion regarding his escape plan.
"Alright, how did you do that?", asked Gavin, looking around aimlessly.
"Uh, what?", asked Furrball, not understanding the orange black cat question.
"That thing you just did with the image changing and stuff!", responded Gavin, ramming his hands against his head. "WHAT was that?!"
"Well, I don't know how it works, but, it's quite useful for, well... making my point clear.", replied the blue feline, scratching his head in obliviousness.
"Ya gotta be kidding with me?!", frowned the orange black feline, approaching Furrball and pointing his index finger at him. "Kid, I'm not going to risk my fur just because you decided to be a hero because of some dumb moral duty, so...!"
But, before the mean cat continued his statement, the old shepherd dog hit him in the head with his paw, and, soon collapsed on the floor unconscious.
"Quiet brat!", shouted the old dog, as all the eyes that were fixated on Furrball, soon shifted to him in utter shock.
"And to the rest of you...!", paused the old shepherd, as he pointed his paw to Furrball. "Just from a single glance I can tell this kid had faced many hardships in life till this very day, yet... he is willing to not just save his beloved... but, to offer all of us this very chance, where many of us thought we'll never see anything else but these accursed cage bars for the rest of our lives!", then, the old dog points his paw, now to Fifi direction, with the many eyes of the animals upon her.
"Little lady, do you believe that following your beau and his plan will set us free from this prison?", asked the old dog, waiting for the response of the purple 'kitten'.
"Oui, I trust mon amore, and, I know he weel keep heez promize.", replied instantly the young 'kitten', as she grabs her blue lover paw, showing in her eyes that she trusts him.
"Then it's settled!", exclaimed the old shepherd as he approaches Furrball. "Those that want to follow this young mouser and try his plan step forward, and to those that don't want to, well, you are free to go back in your cages!"
After the old shepherd finished his speech, the many eyes of the animals, now looked at each other, and seeing that no one wants to go back in their cages, slowly they all started to step forward next to Furrball.
"Now it's your turn to guide them kid.", said the old shepherd, as he stands to face Furrball, like a soldier waiting orders. "What do you want us to do?"
"Thank you, I...", but before the blue feline could continue his sentence, the old dog raised his paw, telling him to stop.
"Later kid, focus on the plan, because, since you got here my old instincts started to warn me, and this happens when things are about to go wrong.", replied the old shepherd, with his eyes glancing at the door.
"Alright, the plan is...", understanding, Furrball began sharing with the rest of the rest of the freed animals, and, with these words the background started to darken.
