"Why do you always do tricks while exercising?" Asked Dipper cheerfully as he read from the journal.
"Because!" Replied Mabel as she did tricks with a jump rope she was exercising with. "It's fun!" she finished as she finished her exercise with an impressive trick.
"Already saw that one." Commented Dipper with a smile.
"Still impressive, though." Replied Mabel and Dipper shrugged in agreement.
As if on que, Stan quickly entered the room with Soos who was wearing a fancy suit and holding a briefcase.
"Alright, you two, what do you think?" Asked Stan with a giant grin.
Dipper quickly hid the journal before turning to Stan in confusion. Mabe also looked confused as she eyed Stan and Soos.
"Of what?" Asked Dipper raising a brow.
"My legal team, of course! I'm suing Gideon for as much money as I can." Replied Stan happily.
"Soos is your legal team?" Asked Mabel in confusion and Stan puffed his chest proudly. "I don't think this will end well."
"Don't worry, doods. I've learned all I can from season 1 of Ducktective." Said Soos reassuringly, causing the opposite of the intended effect.
"And I know a ton about laws...mostly from breaking them." Added Stan cheerfully.
The twins didn't look convinced whatsoever. Luckily, the doorbell saved them from the awkwardness by ringing at the right time.
The twins had the same idea and without missing a beat, they spoke in union. ""We'll get it!""
The two ran to the door to open it and quickly regretted it the moment it was opened.
Outside was Gideon...riding a really big horse.
"Hello, m'lady."
Mabel stared at the ten year old with an expressionledd face for a few seconds until she finally spoke.
"I hate everything about this."
Gideon flinched and Dipper tried to hold back his laughter.
"But-"
"Just leave before I kick you out." Said Mabel with a deep frown.
Gideon paused to process what his crush just said before Mabel hammered in the point.
"NOW!"
Dipper laughed as Gideon ran away while Mabel groaned.
"Want me to explain your hints to him?" Asked Dipper cheerfully.
"You could kill him in a back alley and I wouldn't care." Replied Mabel as she left for her room.
Dipper silently watched his sister leave before turning and going in the direction of Gideon's departure.
He followed his trail until he saw the ten year old sitting on his horse dejectedly.
"What was I thinking?! A horse?! M'lady?! She's too classy for that!"
Dipper struggled to hold in his laughter before approaching the kid.
"She's just not into you, dude." Said Dipper cheerfully.
Gideon turned to Dipper putting his guard up...for some reason before relaxing.
"You." Said Gideon bitterly. "What are you talking about?! Of course, she likes me! She...just doesn't know it yet."
"Yeesh, you fell hard. Whatever man. Just don't say I didn't tell you."
And with that, Dipper headed back to the shack. Leaving Gideon alone with his thoughts.
He wasn't going to give up this easily, but he needed a new approach.
Something a little more... impressive.

Inside Dipper and Mabel's room.
"Gideon isn't giving up is he?" Asked Mabel with a frown.
"Nope." Replied Dipper with a shrug.
Mabel couldn't help but groan upon hearing that.
"Why is always the type of guys I hate that falls in love with me?" Asked Mabel with a deep frown as she flopped onto her bed.
"You have a type?" Asked Dipper in surprise. "I thought you just hated everyone our age like you hate headbands for some reason."
"Nah, I just have preferences." Said Mabel with a disgusted shiver. "And Gideon doesn't match ANY of them. Especially with him being ten."
"Wow, I feel a little bad for him." Commented Dipper cheerfully.
"Something tells me you shouldn't be." Replied Mabel calmly.
Before Dipper could reply, the twins heard the sound of fireworks outside. The two looked out of the window to see words in the sky. Words asking Mabel to a date.
A few seconds later, Gideon arrived at the shack with a parade and the townsfolk too.
"You're gonna beat him up, aren't you?" Asked Dipper calmly seeing the scene play out.
"That...is an understatement." Said Mabel hiding her anger.
Mabel quickly opened the window and popped her head out to speak. But before she could, Gideon's... spokesperson...that he has one of now somehow, spoke.
"Mabel, would you accompany Gideon on a date on this Thursday!" The spokesperson couldn't finish.
Mabel frowned before she heard murmurs among the townsfolk. She even heard an old lady say "If she says no, I'll die from sadness." And doctor verified it.
Out of anger, she yelled at the old lady. "If you're having your life depend on the relationship status of a ten year old con man out of your own volition, this is just natural selection!" Mabel then turned to Gideon. "No, Gideon! I will never date you! GET. OVER. IT!'
And before anything else could be said, she slammed the window shut with enough force to crack the glass, leaving Gideon and his parade in awkward silence.
Gideon could only stare at the cracked window with his broken heart only to see his crush's twin holding back some laughter as he walked away.
Gideon's blood boiled. It must've been HIM.
HE is putting her against him.

"Hit me, dood!" Said Soos cheerfully as he tucked a pillow under his shirt.
Seeing this, Dipper and Mabel charged towards Soos before bouncing off of his stomach and laughing.
"Feels good." Said Soos cheerfully.
"Ahh, I could get used to this." Said Mabel happily.
Suddenly, the phone rang from inside the shack.
"I'll get it." Said Dipper calmly before he got off the ground and went to pick up the phone.
Mabel watched her brother as he spoke on the phone, listening in onto whatever it could be. And for some reason, her heart sank the moment she heard that the caller was Toby Determined.
She wasn't afraid of him, but something inside her made her panic. The feeling grew when she heard Dipper speak once again.
"Oh, finally! I thought nobody would ever ask! I have notes and theories! 412 Gopher Road. Tonight? Got it."
The moment Dipper finished the call, Mabel was in his face looking very angry. Of course, this scared Dipper for a moment.
"You're not going." Mabel said sternly.
"Mabel! This is a chance to finally-"
"I don't care, you're not going." Said Mabel crossing her arms.
"Why? It's just a solo interview with Toby." Asked Dipper in confusion.
"And it's suspicious." Added Mabel. "So you're not going."
"You're not my babysitter." Dipper crossed his arms.
"But I am the older twin and the one mom and dad put in charge." Said Mabel with a deep frown.
"I can do whatever-"
"MASON!" Dipper froze upon hearing that name as he stared at his sister's angry face.
It didn't take long for him to storm off in frustration with a grunt.
As soon as he was out of sight, Mabel sighed and her shoulder's dropped dejectedly, fearing that she may have gone too far.

"Of course he's going off alone when I'm not looking. Stupid Mabel." Said Mabel to herself with a deep frown as she followed her brother in the middle of the night as he headed towards a warehouse.
She knew it was Gideon, he was really the only suspect, and she was ready to hurt him.
She watched as her brother went inside before waiting outside for anything to happen. And oh something happened.
Gideon had a magical amulet that gave him telekinesis. This display of power unlocked one memory after another.
Gideon was planning on KILLING her brother.
The original Mabel would've manipulated Gideon to steal the amulet, but she wasn't that Mabel. She was an angry prone person who could only want to solve this with violence.
She grabbed a rock from the ground and snuck inside just enough to be able to throw it at Gideon. Specifically, his amulet as he was trying to kill Dipper with some scissors.
By the time Gideon could react to what happened, the rock hit his amulet and broke it. He turned to see who threw the rock only to find a VERY angry Mabel approaching him.
"Dumpli-" the streak of Gideon not being able to finish something continued when Mabel quickly grabbed him by the scruff of the neck.
"Finish that word, see what happens." Mabel growled as she readied her other arm for a punch.
"Dumplin'?" Gideon tested his luck only to be met with a full force punch to the face.
"I'm only doing this because you're a kid. I'll give you ten seconds to leave with your bones intact. But be careful, I'm VERY bad at math."
Gideon saw this and yelled.
"You think you'll get away with this?!"
"8."
"Don't you mean 9?" Asked Gideon in confusion.
"5."
Gideon quickly picked up on what Mabel meant and began feeling scared.
"2."
Before Mabel could count any further, Gideon ran away with his tail between his legs. And the moment Gideon left, Mabel turned to the other idiot in the room and crossed her arms.
Dipper sighed. "Sorry, I should've listened to you back then." He said in a guilty tone.
"You should be! You almost died!" Exclaimed Mabel before tightly hugging her brother. "You big headed dumb idiot."
Even though it was an insult, the last part was said in the softest tone and Dipper couldn't help but hug his sister back for it.

Meanwhile, at the shack.
"So this is how it feels... IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT!!!""
Stan was bathing in a bathtub full of cash with plenty more on the floor.
"And the best thing is, it all came from that skunk Gideon's pocket. HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Stan...won the lawsuit.
